This place (including the Pound) could be the 10th wonder of the world, it is truly something of a magical place, you can just feel it.
There is something very spiritual about this place.

The Flinders ranges were amazing and are definitely worth the trip and the Safari tents were mostly good but were let down but silly things. The zip in our first tent broke when we were out so we were moved to a new tent. This tent had a completely broken lamp meaning we only had the 2 reading lights. One of those reading lights was broken so we were left with one lamp until we swapped it with the tent with the broken lamp. The sink was cracked and was "fixed" with some sort of glue/sealant that was a different colour. The floor also wasn't cleaned as the previous guests bare footprints were clearly visible. The walks from the site are brilliant and all of the staff, bar one guy in the shop, were absolutely fantastic and really tried their best to make our experience memorable.
Wish I could have stayed longer here. There are so many walks you can do and I feel like I have only scratched the surface. Loved the coffee at the Visitor Centre too.
Perfect location and a quality venue to stay in to appreciate the beauty and power of Wilpena
Campers at Wilpena Pound BEWARE!
My wife and have just returned from one of the most beautiful parks in Australia. Our trip was spoiled by the appalling state of the facilities at Wilpena camp ground, despite polite repeated requests to have them cleaned, no action was taken. Next time I will bush camp!
Great location and very spacious park. Camping in the national park was great and loved having our own fire pit with our site. The large selection of hikes available from the campground was brilliant.
Reception staff could have been friendlier but we came during school holidays so it was understandably very busy.
Mick was so helpful with his advise and guidance on the best walks. Didn't stay there, but great feeling.
Customer service wasn't very good. Dirty drinking water, plastic cups. Could do sooo much better.
Drove in and checked out the caravan park. Was not impressed with the sites or the amenities. Went and booked down the road at Rawnsley Park. A top tourist caravan park, and a wonderful place to stay. Much better option
Great location, but cheap on food, service and finishes in rooms
Location was amazing, the food was fine but it's not worth purchasing the two-course meal with the room unless you always order the most expensive items. Rooms were fairly dated.
Great stay, kind people, clean room. In the middle of nature, so you regularly see kangaroos during the day as well as during night.
