I should have known to pass it over when I called to make a reservation and no one answered nor returned my phone call.

Service is nearly non-existent. We came just before 7:00 on a Friday evening. Our meals were not delivered until after 8:00. No apology. No utensils.

Our meals came out lukewarm at best. Rather than apologize, our server argued that it was impossible because they literally came off the pan and straight into her hands.

If you really don't care about the customer's experience (which she clearly didn't as she was much more insistent on arguing with me than she was in listening to me), simply don't ask.

Food has great potential, but the service needs to match it. With previous experience in the food service industry, I would be appalled if my staff spoke to customers the way we were spoken to tonight.

Also, if you don't know how to mix a traditional cocktail, let the customer know. I don't know what I was served, but it certainly wasn't what I ordered.

Beautiful view, but it certainly does not make up for non existent service and cold food. Would not recommend and will not return.

Located on Wascana Lake, this is a popular dinning out option for Regina residents and tourists. People mainly visit it for its wide wine selection, food and location, but it is important to mention that it is an expensive restaurant.

The best view in Regina! You look out onto beautiful Wascana Lake while enjoying a great meal. The best thing for me is that you can sit outside on the large deck while eating a professionally cooked meal.
If you love GREAT coffee don't forget a cup or two.
The coffee beans are locally roasted fresh at Calibre Coffee in Regina.
This coffee is strong, but aromatic and full of flavour without being bitter.

Went for Brunch this past weekend with a friend and we sat on the patio. The new renovations are great, the menu is very well thought out and offers some unique options. My food was great, I had the chicken and waffles and tried the potatoes and thick cut bacon. Only problem with my experience was our service, our server was absolutely swamped as she was the only person working and had a full patio plus some tables inside the restaurant. Waited 15-20 minutes sometimes before she would come back to us to give us warm ups on coffee or take an order for a new drink. If they would ve had an appropriate amount of servers my experience would ve been 5/5.

Love this place, always have a great meal and experience whenever I go. Love the creativity of the menu and the staff are always terrific.

The new bar theme is a work in progress. Menus for each phase of the day are a cool idea and their wine by the glass system is very, very nice. Food is delicious. Wine prices are not for the faint of heart or those inattentive to their credit card statements.

Ordered tacos from their take out window yesterday. Two tiny tacos and a small handful of tortilla chips with no salsa or anything for $13. The tacos were bland with no salsa or guacamole, just a couple tiny pieces of onion and some kind of gross mayo based sauce. And the chips weren't even like decent Old Dutch quality or something. They were definitely No Name and completely bland. No salsa, no dip. Just like $0.50 worth of chips for $5. This place is a rip off and really bad quality. Do not eat here.

I had a delicious bison burger which I thought was appropriate for visiting Saskatchewan. The view of Wascana Lake from the patio is great and even though it was really hot out there is a 10 top that we sat underneath for shade. Service was attentive and the food was delicious. My partner had the ploughman's plate charcuterie board which I personally don't think is great value but she really enjoyed. She finished it off with spicy chocolate cake for about $10 which for the portion size is a lot, but it was very delicious and she let me have a few bites.

Just finished up brunch with their new menu. Both my husband and I were extremely happy with the thoughtful composition of our meals, perfect flavour balance and warm hospitality from our waitress. This place seems to care about the quality of ingredients and putting a little extra care into creating each dish. Would recommend and will return.

Always has amazing tasting food. When I'm hesitant in eating something, I always get surprised by how good it turns out to be. Staff are also very accommodating and friendly!

Garbage. 3 times I have been there 3 times I uabe almost spent $800 and 3 times I have been treated poorly by staff who act as though they would rather be anywhere else. If it wasnt for that view this place would have closed down long ago.

Food here was excellent. I will definitely consider coming back the next time I am in town. The venue location offers spectacular views in the evenings.

After waiting for food for over AN HOUR (with very little selection left of availability on menu). What they served was undercooked food. The servers were fine but this place is VERY understaffed. It took 30 minutes or more to get water (reminded her twice). No joke - I left 90 minutes later without eating because they ran out of food AGAIN from their lunch menu (that they switched over to while waiting for brunch).

I cant say enough about Bar Willow. First of all the location is amazing with its view on the lake!! Inside is a cozy, warm atmosphere. Now the food... every dishbis a masterpiece!! They have a tapas style menu allowing you to order numerous dishes to share. I highly recommend the squid and the short ribs and oddly enough, the duck fat popcorn!! They do also have meal sized postions as well if you dont wanna share! Lol! Original drinks which I liked trying. I liked the Grumpy Victor which was a rendition of a dark & stormy I believe.
They also have a great brunch menu on the weekend!! Super affordable!! Their staff is warm, friendly and really go the extra distamce to make you happy. I cant wait to visit during the warmer months and have a few cocktails on the deck!!

My two girlfriends and I shared a bottle of wine on the willow patio this afternoon and experienced what I would suggest was mediocre service. We had been kayaking prior and so we were dressed very casually. The patio had plenty of availability when we got there but the waitress seemed less than encouraging about seating us. She asked if we were staying for dinner and when we said no that seemed to help. We were very casual and we all felt like she did not think we were dressed appropriate to seat us on the patio.
She hesitantly gave us a table and we ordered a bottle of wine. She did not return to the table later to pour or check on us. Eventually we had to flag her down to get out bill which never came. We saw her serve two other tables with drinks and still no bill. We decided to go into the front door to pay instead of waiting any longer. She then brought me the wrong bill to pay and I stopped her prior to putting it into the machine.

My husband and I love the fine dining that the willow offers but my girlfriends and I were disappointed in the way we were treated this afternoon on the deck. The Willow advertises use of their patio on Fridays and we thought this was a casual experience. Certainly others on the patio were casual like us.

You should be aware of how your staff treats people and you can not judge a book by its cover. We are three professional women who feel like just because we were casual (one of us was wearing a ball cap) and taking a couple hours break from our stressful careers, we did not look the part to warrant attention. I hope you will train and advise your staff accordingly.

The staff here are always pleasant and engaging. This place is great for a lunch beer or an evening out.

I really like this restaurant. I miss the white table clothes which were probably forfeited to be more casual. But the food is great, local! and generous. The service is the best and very informed. I hope to get there again soon, and especially in the summer on the deck!

By far the best patio in the city! Service was excellent and the food was amazing.

High end restaurant. Comfortable and classy. It was so high end though, that I found it difficult to find a menu item that appealed to my simpler tastes. If you have a more adventurous pallet, you will likely adore their eclectic selection.

But for me, I did not recognize their version of chicken parmesan. There may have been some chicken in there and some parmesan cheese, but it seemed to mostly consist of thick dry bread of some kind. In fact it may have been something other than what I ordered, but I was too embarrassed to ask.

The food, wine, service are all fantastic. We have travelled through Europe and spend time in Phoenix and the Willow on Wascana is second to none. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Regina. I believe it is the best value in town for gourmet food and fine wine

The deck is pricey but amazing for hosting weddings.

I went to this restaurant twice.
The first time it was amazing, the food delicious and we were very well served.
It was so good that we decided to go again...
... And had a completely different experience.
The food was bland and service was not at its prime.
I am unsure what to expect and so I wonder if I should try again or not.

The cream for my iced coffee was curdled, they didn't have a few items on the menu we wanted, the food was extremely mediocre for a high price - and the lettuce on my sandwich was rotten. It says upscale but it definitely is not. I would not recommend.

Amazing dining experience last night. Our server was extremely knowledgable and attentive. He made an effort to explain all dishes and new foods they had to offer with wine pairings. Food was hands down the best i've had in Regina. It was so hard to chose what to have on the new menu, everything looked amazing !

I've only tried the tacos... Best tacos I've had in Regina.

Service was great and they let me have my dog on the outside of the patio! As dog friendly as legally possible :) wine selection and staff knowledge of the wine was also excellent. The only room for improvement is the food -- burger was on the dry side and somewhat bland. Overall a great experience come for the atmosphere and great view and eat on the side!

Few menu options. Pizza with clams was tasty, but a sloppy mess. Fish tacos were sparse and tasteless. "Fries" were inedible.

Food was great, service was really slow. After being seated no one came to the table for 15 minutes, didn t bring or offer water. Took another 15 minutes to get a drink and didn t bring water after being asked. Ordered and got our food 50 minutes after first being seated.
Asked for the bill and server didn t bring the debit machine to pay, after watching our server stand and talk with the floor manger we just followed them inside so we could corner them and get out of there. Total time 1 hr 15 minutes to have one drink and one entree for two people.
It wasn t packed the restaurant literally had two tables of people. Deck was not full.
I m used to the serve of The Willow. I will not return.

The serving sizes are a little small, a great place for a date, perhaps not as good for a full meal. I would still absolutely go again.

Had a beautiful evening at the willow! The food was fantastic, the service is great and the view, simply can t be beat! Yes, it is on the pricier side but you truly get what you pay for in the atmosphere and experience overall. Vegetarian friendly dishes, good drinks, weather permitting: ask to be seated on the patio.
