Just saw Bright Star. It was absolutely fabulous. Steve Martin was one of the writers and he did not disappoint. The acting, choreography and signing were all just amazing. They were all seasoned professionals so it should not be a surprise. The sound system is the best I have heard in any theatre including Broadway. The layout of the theatre is perfect. There is not a bad seat in the house. The stage is set to a perfect height so you are not looking up. I only wish Bright Star was playing there longer because I would go again and my friends agreed. There is free parking nearby. If the weather is good you will want to visit the ice cream shop next door. This theatre has everything you could hope for from a Broadway production without the time and cost involved with traveling to NYC or Philly. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Holiday Inn was excellent entertainment! Great singing and dancing! We have enjoyed every show we've attended since the reopening. Well done to Steve and all.

I just saw an outdoor show under the tent as the theater is not available to be used at this time. It was very well organized and being outside only added to the ambiance of this particular show. Thank you for insisting the show go on Surflight.

Who said that you can not have the "best of both worlds "? When you travel to Beach Haven, NJ and you go to see a show at the Surflight Theatre, you get the best of both worlds.

Surflight Theatre is literally TWO BLOCKS away from the beach! You can go to beach and enjoy the ocean breeze in the day time. Then you can travel two blocks and see a fantastic musical at the theater. Being on vacation or even a business trip can be so relaxing with those two plans on your schedule.

This theatre has showcased award winning shows to the community for a long time. They truly believe and know that this art has not parish. The theater strive to bring happiness and joy to everyone. We as individuals should support more theaters and businesses like this often. So that we could have something to build a bond, make memories, or bring families closer together in life with.

I am really excited on what this theater has in stored in the next year for all of us to see and enjoy. If you have not already seen a show at the Surflight Theatre, what are you waiting for!? Go see one today.

A wonderful theatre located in Long Beach Island. I saw the Ain t Misbehavin musical and it was absolutely fantastic. It is highly recommended to reach the town a bit early and take a stroll around the town and along the beach. Sunset is coloring the sky with the most amazing colors.

Water dropped on us every 30 secs from the ceiling, the whole entire production! Who knows what that was?!!! Gross. Very distracting. The show FANTASTIC

This theater is a wonderful asset in our community! The productions are fantastic and you don't need to travel to the city for great entertainment! Plus, you fit in the comfortable seats!!

We loved each show we have seen at Surflight, wonderful productions! The inside theatre is very comfortable and a big shout out to everyone there for making an awesome tent for this summer performances! Highly recommend!

Mama Mia was "out of this world "..by far the show was energizing you truly thought you were seeing this fantastic production on the new York stage. My only complaint..wish we had scheduled tickets for an earlier show..could have sat through another viewing..sorry it is ending or had just ended..

Buyer Beware! A friend bought tickets and then found out that she had covid. She called theater and they refused to refund or change tickets to another date. Basically they told her they didn't care if she was contagious or not. If your planning to attend one of their shows....Beware they don't care about your health or if anyone in their audience could have covid!

Very nice local theater showing popular shows. Would be a 5* except parking is a challenge.

Saw Mama Mia and the quality was definitely closer to a Broadway play than I thought.

Surflight, much like our treasured LBI, is a place to relax, renew, enjoy, and cherish. Even through COVID-19 pandemic the shows are top notch in every way. Tent seating is social distanced, sound is great, set is beautifully creative. Every seat under the big top is great and every stage show or concert is memorable as another treasure in our LBI memory box. Performances and performers are excellent. The quality of shows has improved immensely beyond our expectations. We love coming to the Surflight and wish we could do it more often.

Enjoyed the comedy show..very funny and reasonably priced. Been coming to LBI 7 years and first time to the theatre. I would recommend and plan to attend another show.

Great night out for the kids and adults. This is our second year seeing these plays and we really enjoy them. This year we are going to 2 different shows the week we are in beach have. The kids really enjoy them and it's a fun, easy night out that you top off with some ice cream. What could be better?

have yet to go this season but the plays are usually spot on... I love going to showplace after a show. A must hit spot on LBI!

Great place! Does an awful lot for a medium sized Theatre. Talented people come from NYC for the Summer and add to the many nice shows.

Together with 5 of my favorite people, I just saw Mamma Mia and I cannot recommend this production more highly! The singing the dancing the acting were all excellent and would be right at home in The Wintergarden theater in NYC! Congratulations to everyone who gave their all to a wonderful energetic performance! Even Katherine gave it 5 stars!

We saw " The Boynton Beach Club" ! Without a doubt the best, funniest play we have seen in years. Great Cast, music and audience interaction.

Great intimate local theater. Every seat has a great view with excellent acoustics, too. I didn't count, but there can't be more than 4 to 500 seats in the place. It's the only professional theater company in Ocean County, NJ and the production we saw was exceptionally well done. The place hosts plays, concerts, offers education and programs for children.

Nice place to watch a show. Saw Mama Mia. They put on a great production. Nice comfortable seats, clean and friendly employees.

My families first time here was at the end of June. It was very easy getting in and seated. The show was great and the intermission was just long enough! We would definitely go back while on another vacation!

Just saw a fantastic showing of "Holiday Inn", great singing, dancing, acting, costumes and sets. We enjoyed it tremendously. Thanks for the closing song, that was very special. Awesome job everyone!

Nice venue, comfortable seating the downside is parking, it was very difficult to find a place to park in the area.

Surflight Theatre on Beautiful Long Beach Island NJ has Broadway plays and acts at affordable prices. Also, next door is the Showplace Ice Cream Palace that has live actors and actresses performing while you are eating delicious ice cream. Bring your camera it's alot of fun and affordable.

Me and my wife's always simply wonderful stuff, and it seems like everybody else enjoyed.

Surflight theater never disappoints. Productions over the years have been above and beyond expectations and always surprise newcomers as well as people who had attended many shows in the past. Such a pleasure to have this caliber of theater added to your vacation experience.
