Williams Comfort Air came out and did a thorough job inspecting my failed AC unit. I was given several options of what could be done to get things working again. The technician, Joe, answered all my questions politely and gave me further information that I found helpful. While the service was being done, one of my neighbors came over and said they recently had service done by Williams Comfort Air and were extremely happy with the service.

I found Williams Comfort Air to be a great company...

I found Williams Comfort Air to be a great company to do business with. Excellent communication, professional and thorough service technician, arrived in a very timely manner and did Not rush through the work. Not only was my furnace cleaned and serviced, but I was provided with before and after pics as well as an extensive checklist. The same can be said for the central air unit.
I highly recommend. The price was very reasonable as well.

The unit is only 1.5 years old and I thought it was under warranty but they charged me $250 to transfer the warranty from the previous owner which I find to send the message of "we have contempt for our customers." I would think they would be apologetic that such a new unit would have problems but it's give us $250. I thought the warranty went with house. It takes maybe a minute to update the information. So that's $15,000/hr to transfer the warranty. And then when I received the acknowledgement it was still in the name of the previous owner so I'm not sure I got my $250 worth. So I find Williams Comfort Air to be very disorganized.

So I'm not sure why I would ever buy a Carrier unit since this one only went 1.5 years before it needed repair.

I was thinking that it was around July 2016 that Carrier was moving to Mexico and this unit was installed July 2017 and the unit clearly has poor quality since it needed repair after such a short time.

While the service techs are always fast, efficient, courteous and do a great job, communicating with the staff answering the phone has not been the best. I called two days before my appointment to confirm my appointment and to ask of it was time to renew our service contract. I was told i would not have to renew at this time. The service tech shows up and said it was time to renew. I was not prepared to pay for the service contract because i was told it was not time to renew. Also, we always schedule our service with Steve Strange but today a different person showed up. Logan did a good job for us but we were expecting Steve. We scheduled our next service in December and again requested Steve and i hope that our request is honored next time. All in all, the service provided by Williams service techs is great but i feel that communication with the office staff could be improved.

Replacing a furnace is a huge venture, and you want to make sure you are working with people that you trust. My husband and I are self-employed, and to us, relationship is everything. Everyone at Williams Comfort Air has been top notch - from Deborah who answered my call and scheduled our technician, to BDuff who spent about 3 hours looking and talking and explaining and making sure we understood what we had and what we needed and what the options were, to Jay, who is on his way now to go over our replacement options. This 8 hour whirlwind relationship between Williams Comfort Air and ourselves has removed the worry and uncertainty of where we will always turn for our HVAC needs. It's a huge relief to know that you are working with friendly, knowledgeable and caring people.

Mitchell, the technician, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and was able to get the AC back on! He answered all of our questions and explained how a new system would be a benefit to us. In the near future, we will be contacting Williams Comfort Air for a new HVAC system. Thank you, Williams Comfort Air for the professional manner my call was taken, the texts notifying us about the tech, and the final bill presentation with itemized costs. I usually do not leave reviews but feel like I should acknowledge what a great technician and customer service oriented person Danny French was! It started off with me being very irritated because of a misunderstanding with the initial contract. Danny did a great job listening and getting new information to provide me with to keep the job going. After we figured it out he and his apprentice worked hard non stopped and installed our new system. They were very professional and are exactly what you look for to represent a company.

Great company with great people! The technician took the time to thoroughly explain my options when my furnace stopped working. He was professional and very knowledgeable. The associates who took my phone call, made the appointments and such were absolutely perfect.. super friendly and nice!

Called Company Due to Furnace Not Functioning. Technician Came Out Very Professional Courteous & Knowledgeable. Listened to What was Happening & Diagnosed the Problem. Roger was here for over 2 hours & Jim came & Confirmed What Roger Diagnosed. Jim had a Part that could be used Temporarily & I had Heat that Would Stay On. Roger was Very Concerned that I would NOT have Heat & I BELIEVE he did not leave ANY STONE UNTURNED to RESOLVE the PROBLEM. I was Very Impressed that I took out a Service Contract with the Company because of Roger & Jim. I just Called the Company as this was my First Experience with this Company & would Highly Recommend them.

Williams Comfort Air did a wonderful and professional job replacing our HVAC system. Seriously some top notch work. On the day of the install we received a call in the morning giving us a 30 minute heads up. Our installers, Chad & Chad, arrived on time and they were both extremely helpful and respectful.

By midday they already had our old system out, the area cleaned up, and begun installing the new high efficiency system. Along every step of the way communicating with us if we had questions or concerns about the install.

When they completed the install, Chad ran me through all aspects of the new equipment, best practices, maintenance, ect.

I called the shop at noon and explained the problem with the furnace. The office personal said that a service repair man could be at the house at within a two hour window the next day!The next day I got a picture of who was coming, a brief description and promptly at the start of the hourly window he was here ! Showed me the problem, cleaned the furnace ,and I saved money thanks to some circular coupons and a service agreement! He was very professional, courteous, and knowable at the task on hand ! It was nice that he's a veteran too !

After everything was buttoned up he double checked the system and discovered some potentially new issues that could cause problems down the road. If I could give this a zero stars I would They charge me a $94 service fee for a service they couldn t provide for a few days A simple water heater replacement over the weekend. To make things worse they knew the details of the job and still acted as if they could replace the water heater that day. After receiving two other quotes (both several hundred dollars cheaper) I decided that this company would obviously not be getting my business. Both other plumbers stated that my job was a single man job whereas this company stated it was a 2-man job, Which was the reason as to why I would have a couple day delay hence no water

My service technician Austin Mac Cormack was courteous and polite. He explained all the details and provided photo images on his tablet. I had previously scheduled service for my air conditioner summer maintenance with Summers Heating and AC, but when their service technician arrived he said they could do anything because I did not have an outside water a picket. So I canceled their service that day and immediately scheduled it with Williams. It was a good decision. My service technician from Williams comfort air was able to work around the issue of no water Spicket and did a very nice job of cleaning my air conditioning we should not be cleaning for years.
And by signing up for their annual cleaning of my heating and air-conditioning twice per year I saved as a considerable out of money. Overall I am very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend Williams comfort air to anyone.

I call Mr. Plumber for all of my plumbing needs. Their customer service is exceptional and I am always amazed by how professional, friendly, and instructive their technicians are. They patiently answer all of my questions and go above and beyond to educate me on what they are doing and why they are doing it. They are never in a hurry and they always do the job right. I had requested the same tech to do them both 12-2 and then 2-4 . When the tech was just about done. I got a call saying another tech was on the way. To do the second service. I told him that there was already a tech here. They sorted that out , but not long after that. I got a call from a third tech saying that he was on the way. Dispatch needs a little help. The tech had to leave and come back because he didn't have the required filter.

Thank you Warren!! Late last evening while it was raining pretty hard our basement floor drains began backing up into the house and slowly spreading. As we scrambled to move our things away from the drains we called Mr Plumber and within a few minutes got a call from Warren. After talking through the issue Warren determined that this was an emergency and he came out to the house 30 minutes later at 11:15pm on the Friday after Thanksgiving. After looking at the issue and considering the information we could provide about the main sewer line from our time owning the home, he made the call to snake our main line but to attempt not to go beyond the cast iron piping beneath our house. Going out into the yard meant potentially hitting fibrous orangeburg pipe and risking causing an even bigger issue. Sure enough, he hit an obstruction beneath the house and was able to clear it, and the water coming up through our floor drains immediately receded... just as the rains began to pick up again. Disaster averted! Thank you so much Warren!!

Had a partial clog in our main sewer line leading to the street about 100 ft away from the house. I called around one in the afternoon, and the technician arrived at around 4. I have a general knowledge of my house s plumbing system, which somewhat helped him I m sure. I showed him our cleanout pipe and he got to work straight away with the snake. It took him about 45 minutes to run it through twice, but he cleared it out right away and was very knowledgeable and friendly. And of course, it was $93 with a one year guarantee! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Mike was very helpful. We tried to get our a/c fixed through our home warranty company and after a week of our a/c not working and none of the contractors answering their phone, I decided to call Williams comfort air. They answered immediately, came out, diagnosed, and fixed the issue all within a few hours of me calling. Mike even reaches out to my home warranty company to help me get some of the costs reimbursed. Definitely going to be a loyal customer now.

Williams Comfort Air was an absolute pleasure to work with! Our heat pump and furnace went out and within 24 hours we had a new one installed and up and running. The team was professional and friendly and all around great to work with. We ll absolutely be using them in the future and recommending them to friends and family!

Chad (furnace tech ) & his assistant, Chad (air conditioner tech) were the technicians who installed our new HVAC system. They were prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and personable. I was impressed by their professionalism from start to the finish of installation. Chad s craftsmanship in the area where the furnace is housed, is also aesthetically pleasing now, THANK YOU Chad! He explained everything that they were doing throughout the installation process, answered any questions we had, cleaned up after installation and educated us on the operation of our new HVAC system & how to operate the wi-fi thermostat. The new furnace is great so far and we are looking forward to warmer weather to enjoy the new air conditioner.

Overall, I feel that we received great service from Williams Comfort Air and will definitely recommend them to neighbors, family & friends. Thank you to Nathan for the awesome customer service and to Jay for coming out to our home and being honest about our HVAC needs.

He was very professional and polite. Not creepy at all. I say that because having a strange man in your home for repairs can be creepy especially when I'm a single mom with all daughters. This man did not ask one personal question and I appreciated that!
I had a cable guy here last week asking how many kids do I have? Asking how long have I lived here? It was all so strange. None of my personal business has anything to do with cable repairs. So I was extra nervous about the plumber. But all was great he was a normal, nice person and did a great job on the repairs!

I have a service agreement with Williams Comfort A...

I have a service agreement with Williams Comfort Air, and last year they were very helpful in repairing a broken AC unit. We recently sold our house and after the inspection the home inspector recommended we have our Furnace serviced as part of our closing process, so we booked a tune up appointment with the team at Williams.

Our furnace is 15 years old. It makes noise and has some rattles and I know it will need to be replaced in a few years. The Williams Comfort Air technician spent 15-20 minutes with our furnace, then came up, shut my furnace off, and showed me a blurry photo on his phone. He advised me that we had a cracked heat exchanger, that it was leaking carbon monoxide in my house, and that it would be $3,000+ to replace the part, and that I would be better off buying a new furnace. He told me I could turn the heat back on after he left, but that I would be taking my family's lives in my hands. He did this on day that the temperature was below freezing and it was snowing outside.

He left and I called two other HVAC companies. Both inspected my Furnace and could not find any cracks or holes. Both did not detect any carbon monoxide with their detectors. Both indicated that the furnace would need to be replaced in the next few years, that it was old and some of the components were worn, but that it was working and was safe to operate. The second technician couldn't even confirm that the William's tech pulled everything out.

After speaking with Williams, the technician's supervisor backed the findings and was adamant my heat exchanger was cracked based on the blurry photo the technician showed him. The other technicians had every reason to tell me something was wrong and needed to be fixed, but they didn't. If the Williams technician was less aggressive and didn't tell me we were all going to die, I would have likely replaced my furnace with them.

My hope is that this is not a standard business practice of Williams, but I also feel as though others need to be warned. Don't let an HVAC technician/sales person scare you into a hasty purchase. Get a second and third opinion. In my situation, I was able to get second and third opinions the same day.

All that said, I will never do business with Williams again.

Last year replaced a lemon of a heating/cooling system with an excellent system from Williams Comfort Air. I checked other systems and dealers and they had the best on price to reliability. The technicians have been personable and knowledgeable. Arrive on time for check ups and seem to be straight forward in their assessments. So glad I went with them.

I had a brand new furnace and air conditioner installed in May of 2019. It took 3 service calls to get the air conditioner to work properly. I even had to make a face to face appearance in their office because I couldn t get through to the service line, it just kept ringing. One of the issues was due to a service tech leaving metal tape on the door switch, which resulted in a short circuit to the board. Luckily the only damage to the board was a blown fuse, but who knows what the real hidden damages are.

Now that it is cold I have no heat. I have a service contact and the system is only 6 months old. When the customer rep finally called me back, they said they couldn t get to it until tomorrow, so I have to go all night without heat. The only response I got was, sorry but we are overwhelmed with calls and cannot keep up. Probably not enough techs on staff to cover their client base. I know skilled labor is hard to come by these days.

At this point if I could rip out the system and go with a different company, I absolutely without a doubt would. But they have $8k of my money and I'm sure they would not refund a dime. When my contract comes up for a renewal, I will not renew with Williams Comfort Air. I have zero confidence in their capabilities as a qualified HVAC company.
