I am a new patient and haven't been able to be see...

I am a new patient and haven't been able to be seen by my new ob/gyn for a month, they always cancel for "unforeseen occurance", the next available apt is for the next week. I regret switching ob/gyn to think they will take new patients that are pregnant seriously. This place treats you like a joke.. DO NOT GO HERE!! YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME.

I would give 0 stars if I could for SASS and specifically Stacy M. She took minimal time to talk with the caregiver and provided the paperwork and discharge plan to the child while also telling him the caregiver didnt want him going home (not true and completely inappropriate). I am a Social Worker and used to be a SASS Worker myself. If a parent was feeling they could not keep the child safe I actually took the time to listen to them. She was absolutely rude and disrespectful to my friend who was in crisis. Minimal time doing her assessment, minimizinghis behaviors, didnt listen to her at all and refused to speak to the child's psychiatrist or caseworker.
Please seriously consider providing your employees with some psycho-social education on demonstrating actual empathy and on more effective ways with foster families.

You need to bring lunch and dinner because the wait is over exaggerating. I leave my work a little early just so i can Get here 15 min prior to my visit and don't get seen until 3 hours after my appt. I get to hear the conversations of all the staff and the laughing instead of them checking up or letting the patients know the Dr is running behind. Then they lie about it when obviously you can hear that they are doing nothing but gossiping. Need a better staff that cares about the patients. When it's time to charge the visit they don't hesitate. I should charge for just sitting there so long. I work at a Drs office and we don't let our patients sit in the room for more than 10 minutes before Dr goes in to see them. Poor excuse for an office. To bad I can't give it a -10 star rating.

It's a good place, doctors are good some nurses take care of you but do not miss hair in the soup resepcionista saws that cres the owners of the place and you answer rude as if they were there aguebo I think that if they do not want to be working there you should go to a MC Donald or burger King after all your work can be someone else who if you feel like working or if you have your appointment and supposedly call you until two hours later, if that You already know if you have an appointment at 8:00 a.m. Take your cake because you can get out of there until half a day if it suits you.

Call for a appointment for a emergency that I am having at home ask that I needed a appointment as soon as possible she had no remorse what so ever of why the hurry in a appointment I have a situation at home with 2 adult boys ages 19 they are having OCD of separation and how I just call the behavior clinic and how the had the time to let me know that I need to go threw the clinic so I call thinking the would be like we understand calm down you have call the right place instead I got hello for what do you need this appointment as I was explaining she cut Mrs. Teresa answer with a attitude and said this is what we have I said ok but can I call everyday to see if anybody cancel she said No! And said something like a hummm and said that all we have so I said excuse me miss are you the head reception of the department she said no I am the appointment clerk I said your name she pause for a good 7 second and said Teresa I said are you in charge of the department if not can I speak with who is in charge of the department so I can explain my situation and see what they can do she said no and either take the appointment or bye I said find give me the appointment Teresa and thank you for your time my whole pint is I am a mother with 2 boy that have the OCD of the chain they are 19 years of age and don t understand what is happening I cal for help and instead I got greeted the most unwelcome then ever as a person that works in. Health department bi would of like I d Mrs Teresa would of been Hello mamen how are you how can we HELP . And as I say my situation she is I am sorry to hear that but let me see what we can do for you I know that you are stressing but let me see and by the why this is for what and who and I would of been wow thanks you are the hope I was looking for come on we as persons are calling a medical place for a reason to seek medical attention and this is how we get greeted sorry for the job you have sorry for bothering you with my problems sorry for thinking you could Help Teresa I dealt very welcome coming here with your greeting felt welcome know I understand why everyone says what they say of this clinic rude and ungrateful persons .. coming from Lurie Children s Hospital I expected more from Will County Health Department sincerely

COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL YOU CAN'T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE IN THE BILLING DEPARTMENT THE MANAGMENT IS EVEN WORSE THEY DON'T ANSWER OR GET BACK YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE AT ALL I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THEM. THEY HAVE NO URGENCY IN GETTING BACK TO THEIR PATIENTS. NO URGENCY IN INSURING THAT BILLING IS TAKEN CARE OF. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. THE ONLY LINE YOU CAN REACH IS THE FRONT DESK AND THEY CAN'T HELP EITHER!!!!

I have been coming here on and off for over 10 yea...

I have been coming here on and off for over 10 years. The reason for that is the Dr that I WAS seeing had not a clue what she was doing! She would ask ME what medication I wanted to be on. She would thumb thru a book not knowing what to put me on or how much! Needless to say I stopped going because a education she put me on sent me into what seemed like seizures!!! I was in and out of the hospital because of it but NOW she has been let go thank God!!!!!! Now the Dr I have is absolutely amazing!!!!! I will deff continue to go all because of her! If I feel the medication is not right for one reason or another I call her and she send a script to y pharmacist right away and I pick it up 30 min later without having to go to the office! She keeps a close eye on all of my blood levels (have had blood drawn twice within 3 weeks. Watches my blood sugar cholesterol everything!!!! No matter what issue I have she is on it right away. I don't usually write reviews but, since they moved buildings they have obtained a more caring staff than even the best family doctor out there! Yes there may be long wait times sometimes but, it is well worth the wait for the effort they put into caring about you especially her!!! She deserves so much more than just a review on this site in my opinion tho. She is absolutely amazing and the best Dr I have seen yet! If I could rate higher I deff would!

The wait. The receptionist. Dr. Byrd cancelling my appointment the day of my appointment. Having a receptionist with ignorance and low comprehension of mental health calling to shove me out another month??? Really? Get it together.

there should be another quality that is worse than poor. I worked in a Dr.'s office for 15 years and even with double scheduling we did not run 3-4 hours behind. My last appointment was scheduled for 8:15 a.m. I was the very first appt. scheduled with the Dr., I was not seen by the Dr. until 10:45 a.m.. He was seeing other patients even though I was scheduled first and I was a half hour early for my appt. I scheduled my appt. early so that I would be on time for work at 11 a.m.. I also require medical supplies for a permanent I.V., I have repeatedly run out of supplies and ended up in the hospital due to the Dr's nurse not faxing the necessary paperwork. It was just not done. the papers were not on the bottom of the pile because I gave them to the Dr. and watched him give them to his nurse to fax over. It has been six weeks since I was there and the medical supply company still has not received one of the forms. I was on the phone waiting to speak with the Dr.s nurse, disconnect, I called back, disconnect, I called back and requested that they call me once the paperwork was faxed to the medical supply company. I have not received a call, that was at 1:32 p.m.. It is now 5:01 p.m. I will be out of supplies in 2 days. So much for honoring the hypocritical oath to protect.

The longest wait times possible. I called to ask if they were very busy due to them being closed for the holiday and the receptionist just says, "we're always busy." I ask, " well should I make an appointment then or can I walk in?" And she goes "I dont know." And that's when I just hung up. Worst place ever. Do not go here unless you HAVE to.

The front staff is very rude. However, I did not notice until they start having you check in at the front for OBGYN appointments. I was a patient of the OBGYN department for years and they were very friendly. Now, majority of the receptionist act like they do not want to be there. However, the OBGYN department was like entering the twilight zone. They spoke to you and explained everything. While you are waiting they check in on you and tell you how long the wait will be. This experience is from 2003- 2013. After this period they just hired anyone. I transferred myself first but still allowed my children to see the pediatricians. The treatment became so severe from the wait staff I had to remove myself before a bad situation was made worse. The doctors was wonderful. The staff can use more training.

Mixed review. I've been here twice and the first time was very fast, in and out within 30 minutes. The second time was terrible, though. I had an 11am appointment and was there at 10:50, but was not seen until 1:30pm. The receptionist told me it was because the doctors were behind schedule, but my doctor told me she actually has had no other appointments and that other people were being placed in front of me even though I had an appointment! The doctor was very nice, but the support staff is very crappy and very rude.

Everytime I come to this place the front desk staff is extremely rude. They do not make you feel welcomed or comfortable. They always have an attitude or talk to you with dis respect. The Doctors are always friendly but the front desk staff is extremely unwelcoming. Won't be giving those people the time of day anymore going to go somewhere that actually respects there patients/customers. & don't waste your time calling they hardly answer calls.

I don t want to go there and wait forever just to set an appointment so I called to set one and two weeks and over 10 voicemails later I haven t gotten a single call back. I finally was able reach someone today when I called but the lady hung up on me two or three times, as soon as I said I need to set an appointment the phone would hung up and then they just stop answering all together.

Doctors seem nice. Front staff not so much. I have been trying to have an appointment with a doctor for 7 months now. I originally had a scheduled appointment, but I had gotten notice that it was cancelled for unforeseen circumstances . So I called back to reschedule, and the front desk lady said that there wasn t another opening until November (this was back in August when I tried). I explained that it s a matter that is kind of urgent because I need medication refills. She told me ask your old doctor for refills .....then I basically told her that I can t do that, and it s actually not a good idea to. So she said she would connect me to someone else, but just hung up. I don t know where they find these people to work here, but they aren t educated or properly trained in how to work in a healthcare setting. I think I ll be looking for another doctor.

Receptionist friendly, professional.
The nurse, Karen, very nice, good with Sid, helpful with information.
Reasonable prices for self pay. The person who checked us out quite friendly as well

When calling for information very little is divulged. Its like prying a secret. I called 3 times just to get what little information I got.
Then of course I go to get a permit and do not have what is required! Be clear. A whole work day wasted!!!
