Every single time my wife or I have to interact with Wilkinson, we struggle to get a timely response or a satisfactory resolution. You should not consider renting a property from them. This is not a "the grass is greener on the other side" comment; don't get involved with Wilkinson.

Highly recommend working with Stan and Deepthi. They are very responsive and work fast which is what we needed. It is clear they prioritize customer service. They answered our calls in the early morning and evening. If they missed a call they returned it right away. They showed us a house on short notice that ended up working out for us. They provided us a lot of confidence in working with them and that if we run into future issues they will pick up the phone to assist. Thank you!

BEWARE----- Rented with them for 3 years. They contacted me to tell me the owner wanted to sell and asked if I were interested in buying. I said no and they provided me with a 120 notice to vacate which was very generous. In my last month of renting, I contacted them to get move out instructions and confirm the amount of my last month's rent because I was moving mid-month. I was instructed by WPM to pay full month and they would refund any overages and I complied since I thought my move date may go over by a day. In my last few days, I had the house professionally cleaned because I had bad interactions with the company and no reason to believe they would be shady.
My last day, I returned keys and provided a non-local forwarding address.
I was told they had 45 days to return security deposit.
After day 62, I contacted WPM and had to leave a message. I contacted them and left seven messages, 3 emails and no response. After 3 months, I went into the office and was told there was extensive damage and they would not be returning any money. That same day, I went filed in Small Claims Court. I later vontacted the owners who were aware of the situation. BEWARE BEWARE. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.

However I found Wilkinson property management company on line; ask one lady if they help with finding renters a good home to rent in the area. The lady was very nice and said I will have a lady give you a call back. The lady call me right back within 24 hours. This lady I now know her as Mrs. Courtnie and OMG she was the nicest and hard working person I have met since Honolulu Hawaii!!! Courtnie went above and beyond to find us what we wanted to make our visit to North Carolina as smooth as possible. We where only there for three days and in that three days Courtnie found us a beautiful home that works for our family and our budget lol. Words isn t enough for the love this woman have for helping people. We are so great full to you Mrs. Courtnie for making the moving process so easy for us! Mrs. Courtnie your a woman that rocks!!! Very professional people. We tried to get our home in Waxhaw rented for almost 6 months through another agency to no avail. Wilkinson Property Management headed by Stan got it rented in two weeks for more money and for 24 months. The paperwork was a piece of cake. We rent a home in the Fort Mill, SC area. We wanted to share that we had a very lovely, pleasant exchange back and forth as new renters do with Wilkinson Property Management. Truly abysmal experience. Management Company and landlord unresponsive to any requests and almost irresponsibly neglectful of property.

This business has no integrity in dealing with their tenants. Management and owner takes no ownership in maintenance of property. Months after we moved in we were told that the electrical line coming into the house hadn't been updated for 20 years! The house was not "in code" and, as it turns out, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to live in while the electrical situation was like that.

Submitted several requests for lights and appliances to be fixed, none of which resulted in issues being addressed. Evidently lack of communication between Wilkinson & owner.

Do not rent form Wilkinson if you can avoid it. All they will do for their tenants is collect rent and remind them that you are all on your own in caring for your home.

Highly recommend WPM. Mr. Van Etten is so good to work with. He is knowledgeable in the field and just an honest and kind person! I ve enjoyed working with him for the past two years and he goes above and beyond to help me.

Stan Van Etten was a pleasure to work with when applying for a property! He was prompt, fair, and honest throughout the entire process. It was quick and easy! In under 24 hours I received approval for the perfect rental property and could not be happier!

The management was so nice and kind. They were willing to work with us and responded quickly when we had questions or needed information! They listened to our needs and made every effort to accommodate our requests. If I needed their services again I would use them again or recommend them to anyone we know.

My husband and I were relocating from OKC to Charlotte but could not visit Charlotte to view any rental properties because of our newborn. We had a 3 week period of time to find a home.
I called Wilkinson Property to ask if one of their rental townhomes was available. We like newer, very clean and updated finishes in a home. It was a Saturday and Stan Van Etten took our call. He was so incredibly helpful and reassured us the townhome was in pristine condition and that his company prides themselves on great customer service and nice properties. From there, he referred us to Michelle Messick. The two of them helped us rent the townhome and we could not be happier. The pictures online are very accurate and so far the customer service we have received from Stan and Michelle has been excellent. Every time I text Stan he replies almost immediately. We have not had any issues with the home yet so I cannot comment on how quickly something would get fixed, however, as of now, I would recommend them 100%.

My experience with Stan was awesome! Our previous rental home had flooded and we were looking to move immediately! He was very responsive and provided us information for 3 different houses available. He was willing to push everything through same day so that we could get our 3 small children out of our flooded house. He was very helpful with neighborhood and home information. I accepted a job in a different state and while crunched on time I needed to make a decision as to what to do with my property. I knew I wanted to keep it but had no prior experience managing a property. Fortunately, I was referred to Wilkinson Property Management. I have had nothing but a pleasant experience since utilizing their service. They took on the stress and the responsibility of formulating the contractual agreements needed to protect both owners and renters. For those who are looking to rent their properties or find a rental property I highly recommend this company. I have rented with Wilkinson Property Management for over two years and have absolutely no complaints. The individuals that I have dealt with have been nothing but attentive and helpful. Michelle helped with the process of renting, drafting a lease, and renewing the lease when the time came. She was always extremely helpful and delightful to deal with. Whenever we had any issues with the property, be it needing to change the AC filter or fix the garage door, we would reach out to Ashley and within 24 hours she would get someone down here to help us with the problem. Renting with Wilkinson has been wonderful, and though we have had to relocate for work reasons, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

This company WILL LIE and STEAL your money. WE looked at a townhome and told it was available and to submit applications and then it will be ours. Come to find out they said we cant get approved because one out of four of us has ONE speeding ticket and that's the only thing on our records. But come to find out 2 days later a family had already been moving in and they just lied to us. WORST COMPANY, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. LIARS AND THIEFS ALSO. Save your money and do NOT use Wilkinson Property Management. They don't even deserve 1 star

I have worked with Stan and Michelle from WP, since last year and I have always been so impressed with how they are not just property managers or realtors but also TRUE PROFESSIONALs in making you feel comfortable in your new home and that your daily life doesn t have to be managing ur home but just letting them know what bothers you. There has not been a single call unattended or a single service not delivered on time. I don t know how many people or companies I can say that about in the servicing industry . I was looking for a place that fits me because of my medical needs and this place was perfect the diamond in the rough my landlord stand is always on time with everything I need we have a lot of slumlords out there but he has been there for me whenever I needed him I would not trade him in for anything we have a long-lasting relationship everything gets fixed in the house on time it's a beautiful thing when you have a landlord that will answer your phone calls at any time. I feel safe in the home knowing that I can call on my landlord anytime I need I will be a tenant with him for a long time to come he's my angel and I thank him so much for giving me an opportunity to live under his watch keep up the good work

We were moving to the area quickly and needed to see a few rental when our agent fell through. I cold called Wilkinson to see if they could assist. Spoke with Stan and he went searching on the spot and was very helpful with his knowledge. Will be back talking with them come time to buy, went above and beyond to help.

I have to give this company 5 stars. They were very professional from the very first interaction. They explained the process in detail and were quick to post my home for rental. Within days they are able to find a good family to rent our home.

I had a great experience with Wilkinson Property Managrment. I leased a home in Charlotte area for a year through them. Very professional, responsive. Never had any issues. The refrigerator needed a repair and was taken care immediately. Paying the rent on the online portal is very helpful and easy. Application process is pretty quick. No issues with security security deposit as well. Got it in full and the owner Stan was very helpful and just a text message away if you need any help or need to escalate anything.

I moved up from Clemson for a job and was looking for a 4 bedroom house nearby; Wilkinson was who I went with. Initially I was worried as outside of a college town it can be difficult for someone my age (23) to find a rental of this size but the management here (Stan and Michelle are who I've worked with) worked with us and made it possible at a very respectable price. They had to work with us on move in dates and accommodated us on that front which was very nice of them. Ever since, they have been very respectful of us and extremely easy to work with. As far as rental groups go, they've been one of the best to work with. Prior to this year I've moved every year since I turned 18, this is the first time I've ever felt like I'd like to stay much longer. I would definitely recommend contacting them if you're searching for a rental.

New property manager (Sarah) is horrible. Never calls tenants back and is simply too busy to help. Very condescending attitude. She does not want to take responsibility for her LACK of communication. Her main concern is keeping the owner happy (and so is the company's) Please do not rent from them or allow them to rent your home. I worked there...I know how it really is...smh
