Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Review

Very nice place with plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and place is really nice. I would highly recommend this place.

We went to the monster trucks last night. It was awesome our favorite is Scooby-Doo!!! Anyways the food quite expensive my suggestion would be to eat food at home because the cotton candy was $20 like that's such a rip-off is not even funny. However their cheesesteaks were good but they don't give you fries they come with hard potato chips. The pizza was fine the pretzel could have had butter it was just like a salted piece of bread.... thank God they had king-size candy even though it was four bucks it helps satisfy my kids craving for cotton candy....lol... and do not forget to bring your earplugs for your little ones sensitive ears because the ones they sell is outrageously expensive too! Anyways enjoy the festivities because monster trucks are awesome!

Venue is nice but the prices are insane and the bag policy is RIDICULOUS

Penguins hockey was fun. Just way more expensive than its worth.

Long lines at security check in. They still had two check in stations not open, small venue for the event.

Small enough to have a great view from any seat. Large enough to draw big name entertainment.

I usually have a good time but last time was horrible.....was there early as usual and there was a group of people waiting no big deal.....a light rain started to fall no problem....then the skies open up to a down pour....now if it was just adults whatever ever but there were little kids also waiting to get in....and the arena security opened the doors to take tables in but kept saying they could not let us in because WWE said nobody could he in the building yet......where is common sense people just let us in the lobby duh

Nice venue. Staff was nice and helpful. I'm not from the area and it's just off the highway. I was forced to pay to park in the parking lot for the event I was at because there is no other options. Tickets aren't too expensive, but everything else was. $18 and up for a snow cone. Popcorn was almost $15. To take a picture with a cardboard cutout at their Marvel event was almost $30. It was $25 and up for toys. Most events you expect that though. My opinion the speakers were turned up to high (and I go to a lot of loud concerts). Had a great time and would go back to an event there.

Hardly shows its age for an 18 year-old arena. Still a great place for a concert or WBS Pens game.

I've been to the a Arena many times for various events. I great local venue for Concerts to Home Shows to Hockey Games.

Over reach of control. You can not even bring a purse or diaper bag in the place.

Nice venue for a concert. Concessions were reasonably priced.

Wise crackers was great lots of great dining options and entertainment here wish they would do away with the smoking though smell like a cigarette hours after you leave the place. That was the only turn off

Payouts are few and far between. No excitement. They need a new GM who cares about the people who should want to go there and waste their money

We had a wonderful time, loved how small the stadium was so any seat would have been fine. Very pleased.

Nice place...but you can't bring a purse in unless its clear with limited things in it. Also, Dont bring an umbrella if it is pouring rain, because they are not allowed either

Seeing the Harlem Globetrotters here was such fun. They really put on a fantastic show. The arena was clean and the staff were nice and helpful as always.

Went for disney on ice with my sister, never have an issue with this place. Cant wait for concert season.

Good venue. Impressive safety precautions taken with the no bag policy, metal detectors, and tons of security. In this day and age that is important. Bar in box seat area could use more bartenders. Takes a long time to get a drink.

Saw a great ice hockey game. ...good parking and good concessions food and drink

WWE fan friendly! Soon as we got in they upgraded our tickets to down on the floor just outside the ring.

Great Arena. A lot of room. My son graduated college from here.

Great small hometown arena! Low traffic, as compared to Philly or other big cities, great staff. Visit frequently for Penguins and other events.

Great family fun with Disney on ice. The venue was well kept. Friends we were meeting had a hard time getting in through security because her daughter has cystic fibrosis and needed to have medical treatment on her. I wasn't there when it happened, but was told the security guard was very mean. I won't knock off any points as my family was already waiting so I didn't see it first hand, but wanted to inform people in case you might need special treatment for an ailment to maybe call in advanced and see what kind of precautions need to be taken.

Nice arena for all kinds of event. And plenty of parking.

The security is an issue..i hate to say too strict..but it was. We were at a home and garden show and people had to go back to their cars to return purses and diaper bags. Otherwise, it was a nice arena..imho

It's ok as entertainment venues go. Narrow aisles and small seats.

Way too cold, security was a joke. Had a two hour drive and some clown wouldnt let me use the restroom. Ditched him anyways but stupid.

Pretty much not a bad seat in the arena for whichever event you see. Parking lot is paved and the traffic flow seems to keep improving every year.

Went to go see Disney on ice. Great show, definitely worth going to

Big Arena. Saw a wonderful Christmas concert. The Gaither Christmas Homecoming!!

Easy parking, easy to get around inside. Any seats are good seats for a hockey game.

Clean facility & friendly staff. Interesting, engaging and clean sporting.
Parking lanes were not well designated from the main road into the facility parking area.

Great venue for a show. Sound was good and it held a lot of people. Beers were a little pricey, but that's to be expected.

Very clean venue, There's not a bad seat in the house, Variety of events throughout the year!

Came here for a hockey game and was but disappointed. The seats all around are comfortable as have great views. The environment here is exciting as engaging.

Good show. Parking and traffic is the only bad thing

Went to see Lynryd Skynyrd concert, when shows was over went to go to the bathroom than leave but security blocked the bathrooms immediately after the last song, so you could not use them. security just hearded you out of the areana.... a disgrace to do to a 50+ crowd. Never seen such disrespectful behavior from an areana employers before towards their paying guest.

This is a great venue to see concert events. Best seats for us are off to the side of the stage, wherever it may be. The only drawback is leaving the place, which is about par for the course at most arenas.

Took my neice for a hair cut, very professional and the cut was awesome..

Sound could be better for concerts but they did have a good amount of local beer

Good place to see a hockey game! Usual over priced concessions but not as bad as some places. Concerts her are a little rough as the sound echoes pretty bad. The small size makes up for it though as you are close no matter where you are.

My friend and I watched a hockey game. We won! Go Penns!
