Great place to hold events and the golf course is nice
Super place and a nice staff witch is hard to find this day and age
The service was great! The waitress was super nice and attentive.
The food was delicious and good portions.. You gotta try the desserts! .. spendy but also you don't do this every day right?!
We always have great service in a wonderful unique atmosphere. Great Lodge feel.
What a great place to Practice your game during the winter months. They have heated bays for actual driving range hitting and an Indoor putting and chipping range. No other place in Lincoln compares to wilderness ridge. They are doing something right since the Cornhusker golf team practices there. Come out and join the club or experience there facility during the winter months.
Wo derful course for the value with great practice facility.
Played the executive 9 at 140 on Monday. No waiting and a beautiful day made for an excellent day of golf
We had our wedding here on NYE 2018. It was spectacular and that was partly due to the amazing venue, food, and staff. We worked with Isabel who was amazing to help us plan out our event and stay in contact with. We had so many compliments on our venue and it's beauty. The food was also amazing and we did stations. Everyone was very impressed! Thank you Wilderness Ridge for helping make our day amazing!
Appetizer, entrees and dessert were excellent, as was the service.
Best salmon I ever ate! Wonderful ambiance! I also loved their bread and cheese appetizer, but the food was a little pricey. I will likely go there again regardless. I loved it.
Please don t have your wedding here. Wilderness ridge should stick to golfing and not even bother having weddings at their venue since they do such a horrible job with them. Worst customer service ever. My sister paid a lot of money for them to treat her like an inconvenience.
Brittany Plummer is spineless and rude. Didn t talk to anyone in the wedding party the entire day and didn t help with anything. Then went to the DJ and told him to announce that everyone needed to leave BEFORE they paid to be done. Started taking down chairs before guests even left and went so far as to tell the guests to move their belongings off the chairs so she could take them down. Even though we paid to be there at that time. Literally the first time I saw Brittany all day was when she was shooing us out of the wedding early.
People were golfing in the background of the ceremony even though we were promised that wouldn t happen. The reason Brittany was so pushy to get us out is because apparently it was tee time. I m pretty sure my sisters special day... the ONE DAY of her life that she gets married is more important than somebody s tee time.
Since they were forced out of the wedding space before they were done, Brittany took the bride and groom to take their wedding pictures BY THE DUMPSTERS.
I would NEVER recommend wilderness ridge for a wedding. Please spend your money elsewhere so you can be treated with respect on your wedding day.
They did a lovely job with my wedding. They worked well with me in coordinating what I wanted for the wedding.
Their food was a hit!!! All the guests loved the prime rib!
Beautiful facility Armond is not that customer orientated
The golf course is kept in excellent condition. Decent prices for greens fees and range balls. Beautiful clubhouse. I have not tried the food so I cannot comment on it.
We recently played the executive course (called Talon). See photo. It was a beautiful walk and a quick 9 holes. We loved it in our time crunch.
The service was a little slow. We had probably 20 people and only a few servers so I can see why, but the food was sub-par. My burger was over cooked and chewy. Overall, beautiful place, but eh food
Great golf course. Challenging yet rewarding. Will be back.
american food here - super good. I give this spot two thumbs up. The place has a good atmosphere.
Food mediocre. Crabby matrde. Good waitress. Margs not mixed well.
First time, great time! Had no idea this was in Lincoln, food and service was great!
While the food is good (but pricey and changes too often for my taste), the turnover in service staff is not. It has been replaced with inexperienced servers, a lot of which lack confidence, training and knowledge.
I have enjoyed every round at Wilderness Ridge. It is a very challenging course with Out of Bounds coming into play on almost every hole. The pro shop staff has always been very helpful. Overall a great experience if your looking for the feel of a private golf course without the same fees.
Outstanding course. Easily one of the nicest courses I've ever played. Very friendly people out playing. Pace was plenty fast at just under 4 hours for 18 holes.
My nephew's wedding reception was there.Great venue,on the golf course.
Love the spinach and artichoke dip and wedge salad with chicken.
It's a beauty, but make sure if you are having a wedding that you stress to the lawn people NOT to drive by while the service is going on!
Beautiful setting for a wedding! The staff couldn't have been anymore helpful!
Wilderness Ridge is top class when it's comes to reception halls in Lincoln.
We went late and it probably would have been better before 1 o clock, but overall it was pretty disappointing. The deserts in particular were not fresh. Some nice poached salmon and British breakfast sausage... better in past years.
Pretty course you probably don't want to walk it. There is some pretty long distances between green and tee box. Not crazy about the Friday pricing. Website said $25 for 9 and a cart. Ended up having to pay $41.00 for twilight with a cart and you can golf as many holes as you can. Kind of a RIP off if you ask me.
I have NEVER had a bad meal here!! Wonderful food and atmosphere!! Had 17 people together for brunch for my father's 70th birthday and everyone was raving about how amazing all the food tasted and we all ate the buffet so that was just what they were making for their regular brunch, and it was amazing!!!
Great commitment to a hunters lodge decor. Beautiful golf course.
What a disapointment! I have never had a bad meal here but tonight was horrible, and on Father's Day no less...
Who thought it was a brillant idea to serve meals on cutting boards? Very tacky!
Lamb was gamy, prime rib was cold and tasteless, sea bass was very good and the desserts were fantastic.
Brunch was top notch. Prime rib, eggs Benedict, fruit, salad... everything for the most discriminating palate!! Lodge type setting makes for a beautiful environment to enjoy your meal. Good service too!!
My wife made reservations to come here for my birthday dinner and I did not have a great experience. The atmosphere was amazing and the bartender Jackson was very kind and friendly, but our server seemed very annoyed from the beginning.
My wife and I order streaks and both came out wrong temperatures. Also, our soups came out with our meals. I still ate my steak but my wife sent her step back and it still came out wrong again. My wife does not like to complain so ate all the outside of the steak as much as she could and ate the side dishes that came with it. If there is ever a problem the server should always grab a manger and he did not. If I'm paying 35+ $ for an entree I expect it to come out right. The server tried to solve the problem with a desert but that does not make up for the overall experience with the food and service we got.
We ate there for Thanksgiving this year .. That was the nastiest Thanksgiving meal I ever had.
Ambience was nice..we sat by the fireplace..steaks were too pink..we wanted medium well..portions small. Overall better than previous visits.
Terrible service. Evan and Amanda are the worst. Evan took 20 min at least to check on us between table visits. Forgot my kids food. Appetizers were served 5 min before dinner. Drinks were never refilled. Amanda was the manager and was dismissive and a total millennial in her attitude toward our displeasure. She has no people skills. Evan was the server and should be re trained to be nice.
A nice place to eat. We made reservations online for an outdoor table to celebrate our anniversary
When we arrived, the hostess said they don't take reservations for outdoor seating. No one ever mentioned our anniversary even though my husband mentioned in the note of the online reservation. Food was good, risotto was a little dry. Overall an OK experience.
Wonderful evening with friends and listening to the awesome musical expertise of Christipher Raven. We screwed up our reservations but the matre 'd and wait staff were exceptional in getting us a table despite a huge supper and wedding crowd. Beautiful evening!
Love the atmosphere, decorations. Awesome Service. Staff went above and beyond. Food is excellent. Highly recommend.
Was there for a graduation, servers were all friendly and helpful.
Food was excellent. Steak was so flavorful and tender. And the creme brulee was out of this world.
The food was very mediocre, some of it was unpalatable. The sweet potatoes fries were soggy and flavorless. The prime rib tips and risotto were over salted. The steak was chewy with a lot of grissle. The scallops were decent though.
An amazing place with a beautiful atmosphere and scenery. And the food is exquisite
Awesome, in my opinion, best restaurant in Lincoln. Great setting, great food, great service. Can't asked for anymore.
Very nice evening with friends, courtesy of fine staff, delicious food & stupendous setting.
Great service. We were there during a slow time so it was nice and quiet. Atmosphere was outdoorsy and lodge-like. Cocktail menu was original with house drinks. Lunch for two worh cocktails was $50. Sides were additional. Would visit again!
Great layout. Super staff. The course was in great shape!
New menu that's been in place for 2 weeks was to blame for dark meat chicken being served instead of white meat which was specifically asked for. Short ribs couldn't be cut with even a steak knife they were so tough. Cheesecake was very sour and had a strange texture and flavor. Service was lacking and not because they were busy. Manager was nice. We were not the only table with issues. At least 4 other tables around us had issues and items were taken off their check. Might go back for happy hour apps but never again for a meal. I've mentioned this to several people who have told me their similar stories. Not sure how they stay in business.
One of the prettiest and well maintained golf courses in Lincoln. Would recommend.
Beautiful, great food and a fantastic experience!!!!
Close your eyes and imagine a mountain lodge. That's what you'll get.
Half my food was not on my plate. We were ignored by what seemed like a manager who turned off the outdoor fans. Some food was burnt.
Gorgeous, great service, great food all around! Highly recommended
Went here for a wedding. Great place! Food was spectacular! The atmosphere was excellent!
The most amazing dinner. Did was perfectly cooked, Ellen was a fabulous waitress!
I thought arbies was fancy until this rolled in to town, the 30 dollar meal better be made of shredded gold or im suing.
Last weekend my girlfriend and I were dining at the wilderness ridge, and I forget my debit card on the table. I just realized after we left but they were closed. I tryed to call the next day but no one will bother to answer the phone, so I went there asking the gentlemen by the front desk, surprisingly he was staring at my work unform and then said " we don't have it " without even asking someone or looking for it. Because I'm very sure that was the last place I used my card.
My husband's food was not very good. Had not very good service by our waitress.
This is the second year we have had our corporate holiday party here. Delicious food, great service! Highly recommended!
The steak was amazing and the service was also. Amanda needs a raise pronto
Very good food and drinks! Highly recommend the Mac n cheese for the perfect size meal of cheesy-goodness! Elegant atmosphere, too!
