They gave my room away, so I had to settle for a smaller room. Terrible! I'm a Hilton Honors member, booked my room months in advanced, checked in online, but when I arrived.... they said someone extended their stay, and offered a smaller room for my daughter and me. I'm so not happy.

Great location. Directly across the street from the west end shops and movie theatre and plenty of restaurants to eat at. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean and surprisingly charming

I was just there for drinks this time, but I have stayed in the past. Love this hotel! Love that it's outside of downtown, but still so close. Rooms are nice and staff has been great.

Poor service. We had a wedding block set up at this hotel and in spite of some of my wedding guests specifically asking for their welcome boxes, the staff refused to give them a box because the guest made their reservation under Expedia. I asked the front desk to be sure and give these special guest a welcome box in spite of the Expedia reservation. Unfortunately the request was not honored. Don't use this hotel for your wedding block! They will mess it up!!

I've stayed at better hotels but so far this has to be the worst for the price. The beds werent the best nor the pillows which were basically an air pocket in a cotton sheet. Staff were very kind which is probably the most redeeming factor. Not any real bonuses to staying at the hotel, the restaurants prices are way too high, as are the "quick options" offered ($5 dollars for a bag of m&ms) so be preped for going out, at least its close to a ton of other restaurants and fast food places or i would have starved during my stay.

The Dover restaurant inside the hotel is amazing. The pool area is spacious with lots of natural lighting. Guest services were very friendly. The executive level is nice but lacks in amenities and open hours.

Staff is very polite, the rooms are clean, free Wi-Fi and the food at the restaurant is delicious. The only problem I had is my shower was scalding hot... even if I had the knob on cold. I'm here for a conference and the ballroom and meeting rooms are very nice. No fridge in the room and no continental breakfast.

Always had a good experience here. There was an annual convention that I attended here for many years. They always took excellent care of the guests and the con. The organizers of the con always spoke glowingly about them. I would recommend this as both a hotel and a venue.

I had a very enjoyable stay while at DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Park Place. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were exceptional. I needed to find some more comfortable shoes for a business meeting that required a great deal of walking. I was greeted with a friendly and kind welcome by the shuttle driver "Matt" as soon as I walked into the hotel. He was very accommodating. The very BEST service I have ever received while staying at a hotel. A BIG thank you to "Matt" for his exceptional service.

Had stayed at this location before. Very well maintained facilities. The staff is wonderful. Had a annual company meeting in the large ballroom. The chef and all his staff did a wonderful job! The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Will be returning.

Nice clean rooms, big pool area, Amazon locker in the lobby. But the highlight is the bar/ restaurant. Great menu, awesome selection of local beers and spirits. The morning breakfast is very nice and a step up from typical continentals. The Reuben far exceeded my expectations for a hotel restaruant. If food is a deciding factor, tben chose this place!

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Restaurant has good food. Dog friendly, with a little pond and walking path behind the building. Made our unexpected trip into the area much easier.

High as a charter bus driver I get to see a lot of places . The drouble tree from the outside appears to be a nice place I didn't get a chance to go inside and check it out see how everything is but from the outside it looks nice lot lot of parking.

Fantastic hotel! Rooms have 50" TV's, refrigerators, and safes. Not only do they have a great restaurant onsite, but they are surrounded by great dining options! A movie theater, grocery store, and the new Punch Bowl Social with lots of fun games are just across the street!

I have stayed at this hotel many times now. From the first stay the front desk staff have always been very nice. They were going to upgrade my room to fix a reservation error even though it was my company that messed up the booking. The property is in a good location. There are plenty of dining options for a week within walking distance and it is only a 10 minute drive to downtown. The inside could use a little bit of renovation here and there. Currently they are doing renovations in the lobby area. Overall though the inside is nice for the price and rooms are clean.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, service was good. The restaurant was good but expensive, typical hotel food with some nice local specialties. I was there for a convention, and found the meeting space difficult to negotiate for people with trouble climbing stairs; one banquet area is only accessible by either stairs or wheelchair lift, no ramp or elevator. Could not recommend for meeting space due to amount of stair climbing and/or walking to distant elevators required.

The hotel is great, it s a great location, and our guests liked it. However, we were unclear about breakfast, believing it was complimentary (it was not). It was far too expensive for the quality. We booked the shuttle, but did not meet the minimum number of bookings to have it free. As our wedding grew near, we realized the hotel did not give all of our guests the wedding rate nor were they in our list of guests there. We had to do a lot of backtracking to find them all. The cut-off was 3 weeks before the wedding, which was very far out, so some people hadn t booked by then. I was able to get them the rate, but it was difficult to track everyone down. It would have been nice to have more time for everyone to book a room as not everyone thinks that far in advance. On the other side, the representatives I worked with throughout the process were wonderful. I would recommend them, but look carefully at the contract and be on top of your guests to book in time and keep track of who is booking so you can verify the hotel s list.

Feels somewhat old, but it's overall perfectly acceptable. The room service is too expensive and includes no healthy options, but you can walk to a few good options instead (Cooper, Urban Sub, Yard House, etc.)

Awful. One of the noisiest hotels I ve ever stayed in. The walls are paper thin. As I type this, I m listening to the woman next door having a phone conversation her third of the evening. We can hear every and any noise in the hallways through the door, which is thin and has a very large gap at the bottom. Not to mention the noise from outside (cars in the parking lot, Highway, etc) and loud double bing each time the elevator opens on the floor.
We have a double room with two beds. The beds are very small. Two adults in a bed is quite uncomfortable.
The room temperature is not well regulated and there is no way to have a constant fan on.
Housekeeping is ok at best. When we checked in (and still three days later) a small end table and wall behind it are covered in splatters of something red and sticky. The in-room coffee maker was missing most items (only decaf coffee, only one lid for two cups, no sweetener).
The bathroom is a fair size, but the toilet has a cheap plastic seat that is smaller than the bowl. The shower runs lukewarm when turned as hot as it goes, then suddenly switches to scalding after 5-8 minutes.
Also, we re Hilton Honors members with a higher level status and weren t given any perks (usually choice of room, bottled water, etc) that normally given. Oh, and the cookies... one cookie for a family of four with two kids. #seriously
I always thought DoubleTree were one of the nicer Hilton brand hotels, but this stay has been a big disappointment.

Alyssa,

Just a quick note of thanks to you and your team for the amazing service you provided for my guests and participants of the seminar I facilitated. The venue was clean and modern and the food was prepared with exquisite expertise. Please tell the chef. The impression you made on myself and my participants ultimately helps me look good also.

As for the hotel stay the staff was very personable and exceeded our expectations with each room we held. You should know I reached out to more than just your hotel when I was investigating venues for this event. The other two nearby Hilton Brands never returned my calls. You were quick to jump on my account and provide instant information.

Thanks again to you and your staff for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

Be Safe!

I understand they have check in at 3pm. I've been on the road for over 10 hours and I am exhausted. I asked to see if there was anyway possible to do an early check in. They said there is nothing they can do and I would have to wait. I have been sitting in there parking lot since 930am. I have been to soo many hotels and they would be nice enough to accommodate the best way they can. Last time I satyr at a double tree and will be cancelling my future reservations.

Upon checking in to my room on the executive level through the Hilton app, I immediately realized that I had booked a room with a king bed & 1 fold out couch for myself, husband and daughter. I'm also in a wheelchair and that was put in when I made my reservation. We had to reload the baggage cart & I had to go get a new room from management. I lost the executive level 14th floor with a pretty view, but figured we all needed someplace to sleep so we moved to the 3rd floor. It overlooked the overcrowded pool and you could smell the chlorine and hear all the kids screaming & playing...but,this had a spot for everyone to sleep & the room was OK with my wheelchair UNTIL I had to tried to get into the bathroom. It was not wheelchair accessible. We packed up the luggage and I went down to management again. They moved us down to 2nd floor with kids running around & knocking on the doors all night thinking it was funny. This room was wheelchair accessible but the room just appeared to be unkempt... Like a last ditch effort/in case of emergency type room. I have Hilton Gold status and when I slept in & sent my husband & daughter to eat breakfast, they charged them over $30. With Gold status, 2 meals a day are covered free of charge. I went down to management to checkout & tell them about our 3 room in 2 hour situation and that we were charged for breakfast. The woman removed the breakfast bill but that was all. I highly doubt I will be staying at this (or any other) Hilton in the near future. I am super disappointed with the entire stay & don't recommend staying here.

I travel all the time for work and always stay at Hilton hotels. In the future, I won't be coming back here unless I have no other choice. I closed the door to my room the first time I went in and the bar lock fell off onto the floor. Need I say more? The room was large, but felt old and dirty. The whole property felt in need of an upgrade. The only upside is that it is in a decent location. If you have a choice, stay at the Homewood Suites across the street.

The Hilton is very nice, staff is generally kind and accomedating and the rooms, while they can feel a bit small have comfortable beds and a nice desk and cushy chair. The design of the room is modern, but calming and they have a mini fridge. Free parking is a plus, but the parking lot is dangerous due to poor upkeep, same with the sidewalk. The hotel has an in house bar and kitchen and is close to a cub foods and lots of good places to eat! It's a great place to stay, but a little pricy and not having a microwave in the room and only a very low powered one in the lobby is inconvenient.
