We are Wyndham Destination timeshare owners and the Wilderness Resort offers Wyndham's Glacier Canyon at the Wilderness and also a separate domain on Lake Delton in the Wisconsin Dells as well called Wilderness On The Lake. Wyndham villas are available at Sundara Spa as well and it is gorgeous! Differences...the Wilderness itself is a huge waterpark functioning both inside and out. Slides, lazy rivers, hot tubs and a huge waterdome with a giant wavepool. It can all be overwhelming but once you get your bearings you can make your way about. Great for kids but be warned this facility gets busy...lots of kids from parents with babies up to teens. Put a life preserver on your child for safety and do not let them wander into the wave pool alone...they need to be strong swimmers. Lifeguards are dutiful and on constant watch. We were there during a storm that turned into a tornado and I was impressed how quickly the staff got everyone out...checked on and assured people they were fine but they could not stay in the water!! Yes...people wanted to sit in the hot tub with lightening shots through the sky. We have never had a problem with unclean rooms. There are great restaurants all about the area and I'm 54 and still love going!

First off, if you are here complaining about the workers wearing or not wearing masks, while you enjoy YOURSELF. STAY HOME where you can whine. We had a blast. The climbing adventure was down, which was a bummer, but there is plenty to do. I suggest not buying the expensive extra $15 ea unlimited pass for rides, because there aren't many. But, that's us. We did buy it and were too busy swimming and there is a short list for that kind of money. Other than that, it was nice, they still had room service and yes, it's still pretty busy during this time. We come here every summer, and will be back, again. Always EXCELLENT service!

Beware! They pay cash under the table to undocumented workers who they know nothing about. One of these workers stole my wallet from our room. Next time it could be someone s child! Worst vacation experience of my life!

We are here now. Kids didn't want to stay in the pools...ALL TOO CROWDED. Weekdays were wonderful....weekend crowds are NUTs! Staff was nice...resturants wonderful, but when you pay for waterpark access and are pushed out, forced to buy more passes to entertain kids, not much fun and very expensive!

This place was awesome! My family had so much fun! The hotel room was clean, the water parks were also very clean. The water parks seemed endless. We just kept jumping from one park to the next.

When we were watered out we hit up the amazing 3D indoor mini golf which was a highlight of the trip for the wife and I.

We ate the breakfast buffet at the Wild Canyon Cafe all three days and the food was great.

Last but not least the staff at this place were AWESOME! Every staff member was so polite and respectful. These staff members were dedicated to making sure my family enjoyed every second of our experience while ensuring that my kids were safe in the water. I hope this message gets back to those awesome employees. Keep up the good work....you guys rock!

We really enjoyed how the staff members name tags showed which country of origin the employee was from. This spun interest in my 8 year old who thought it was so cool that someone from another country talked with him.

I can't say enough about this resort. It was not the cheapest place to go but worth every dollar.

The only down fall was I forgot to put sunscreen on myself. Sunburn to the extreme.

Fairly nice and fairly clean. Management was really good and the people who work here are very nice. For the price I expected a lot more from the facility and much cleaner. But we are used to going to Kalahari.

We do love it here. Currently under going renovations which are exciting. The decor upgrades are wonderful! Added attractions on site are very inclusive. I would feel comfortable taking my elderly parent to my toddler grandson & its easy to have an infant or disable person here as well. All that's left is to ENJOY!!!!!!

The rooms were nice and cozy, but the way the resort is setup can be annoying sometimes because you have to walk all over the place. Some of the food their isn't the greatest, but the treats their are delicious. The water parks are very fun, and the slides are very exciting. Overall a great trip, would recommend.

Wilderness Resort is nice. The rooms are well kept there are shuttle busses to take you to all the restraunts and bars around! My only complaint and it is a big one that knocked down 2 stars was the water park. The indoor water parks lack anything really exciting. It would be nice if they had even 1 exhilarating slide. It seems more meant for the younger children. Couldnt enjoy them too much this time because the pool areas were freezing!!!!! I know that 60 degrees is probably good for people in Wisconsin but the tourists need a little warth! When everyone I saw out of the water was shivering I know it isnt just me! But other than the water park this place is ok! Oh and PS alcohol costs too damn much here!!!!

We love The Wilderness Resort!! It is our go to getaway. With so many different waterparks to choose from, you never get bored. In each area there is stuff for all ages. Don't forget the multiple arcades, restaurants, snack bars, go-carts, and so much more.

Like being on a cruise without the ocean. Plenty of stuff to do for families, even when it's too cold to go outside (there's three indoor waterparks). It's got a lot of real estate so be prepared to do some walking. The food inside the waterparks is pricey but the otherwise it's a very good deal for sizable hotel rooms that include waterpark passes.

This is a huge water park. The first weekend of December was the least crowded I've ever seen it. Several of the slides had no wait times. We had a hockey tournament, so we ate off-site or had yeam dinners. I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but there are multiple options. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was very comfortable a nd spacious. The full kitchen had everything needed to cook, plenty of plates, cutlery and flatware. We stay every year and Re more than satisfied.

One of the best places to stay in the dells! There are three water parks with their own unique theme and attractions. Tons of things to do for kids of any age. The arcade is pretty nice too. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Great time. Not crowded, felt comfortable with social distancing even though few guests were masks. We stayed in a condo so it was nice to be in a quieter, less busy location compared to a hotel room. Golfed on the Woods course twice. Nice course.

Amazing amount of different things to do for the whole family. Pretty clean and friendly staff. Food was decent. Reasonably priced restaurants. We found it a bit taxing walking up and down the whole property to the various stores and water parks, but not a deal killer. We were annoyed by all the other people being loud at night in the hallways, but it's that type of place. We went over Thanksgiving weekend, and it was busy.

I HATED that there are mirrors in the changing areas at their water parks. Maybe it's just me but I feel uncomfortable having my children change with strangers sitting in front of that mirror like it's a TV. The mirror thing really creaped me out, and left me not wanting to go back.

Very loud rooms. The rooms were nice, however the sound between floors it terrible. We had to call the front desk 4 times to ask the people above us to quiet down. I liked the rooms otherwise but I won't be returning. It was impossible to sleep and after a day at the water park you really need sleep. These buildings seem to have been poorly constructed unfortunately because it's a beautiful property.

Beds sucked. I mean I've had better rest on 20 year old air mattress. But everything else was awesome. Just hard to enjoy when you're dead tired from trying to sleep on a brick with springs.

My family and I LOVE the Wilderness! There is something to do for ALL ages! From arcades, go karts, mini golf, zip lining and ropes course to various timed activity stations (for a reasonable fee). We love that there is 3 separate waterparks! 2 out of the 3 waterparks has an Indoor and Outdoor area with the exception of Lost World. It is an outdoor park only but is our favorite since there is an exceptionally big lazy river! You can certainly walk to all parks in between the hotels or be lazy like us and drive to each one (a very short distance). Staff encountered are friendly and almost always smile! This is however a private resort and only guest are able to access the waterparks. This is definetly a park we never get tired of!!

Rented a condo, this was extremely expensive for what was actually included. This unit was outdated and in serious need of a remodel. The beds were horrible, the kitchen was dirty, the dishes were still in the dishwasher and not put away. I will not ever go back there.

I think this is the most fascinating resort in the Wisconsin Dells. I mean, the name, "wilderness" is giving you the wild feeling. All of their hotels have the exterior made of (or looking like) wood. They have a vast area near the Lake Delton. With one big outside watermark and 3 large indoor waterparks, it really is a great vacation place. I went in every single one of them, and they have more than slides and pools, they have things that you won't find in other places. I wish I could stay there, but unfortunately I was living somewhere else while I was there. Also, during the summer, they have a lot of students coming from other countries, and they're I have seen the most beautiful Romanian girl in my entire summer. Nice place, indeed :))

The rooms are nice and the staff are friendly. I would rate high if all the waterparks were not so far apart from each other, it makes it hard to enjoy what is in each park when they are so far spread apart. If possible I would suggest some type of posting in each room with what attractions are in each water park and where they are so you don't have to search.

Fun place, very nice rooms. Only issue we had was out first stay the wave pool "room" was closed for all but the first night of our stay. Which also meant we could not enjoy the swim up bar. But our second trip everything was open inside and always have a Blast! Cant wait to visit in the summer to enjoy the other water parks and check out the infinity pool at the lake delton resort(Wilderness on the Lake)

I went to the Wilderness in January 2016 and it was awesome! There are so many things to do and not enough time, and the 3 different water parks doesn't help. The wave pool has to be my favorite water park, the crashing waves and the giant pool are absolutely awesome. The dueling mammoths slide is one of my favorites and you should definitely give it a try. The Hurricane is one of the highlights as well, but that is only for the bigger kids and adults because I am 13 and I was petrified. Finally there is the Wild West Water Park, if you like body slides then you have heaven in Wisconsin Dells. Also the rooms are spacious and the entire hotel is extremely clean. There are also lots of great restaurants in the area, shout out to the Mouse Jaw, and the rooms are not too expensive. All in all The Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells is one of the best, if not the best Resort in the Wisconsin Dells Area.

Had an amazing time at this place, it has amazing three outdoor water parks, one infinity pool, 4 indoor water parks, arcade sections, go kart and many restaurants. I loved the Klondike pizza it was amazing, the cheese on the pizza tasted so good which made sense since we were in Wisconsin. All the rides, slides and water park stuff is amazing - I would suggest trying out the Hurricane ride, space loop ride (lost world water park) and the black hole ride which is a single tube ride. These are the best rides in the park. The fact that the parks are only open to guests makes it even better since we don't have to wait in long lines though the top three I mentioned can take a while to get into. Overall I loved this place and will surely consider visiting again.
