What a joke. They allowed more cars in for paid parking than they even had spaces to park in...people were just driving around the lot in circles then ice inside the park it too 30mins to an hour just to get in the lazy river. I will never go back...what a waste of a day and my money.

This is great for the entire family! Highly recommend getting season passes. They pay for themselves in 2 visits if you buy in Oct. (They now have payment plans). Also, get the season parking for $40. We got the meal plans this year, which was brand new and we never have to bring a wallet because you can load your bracelet with the meal plan and with additional funds if needed. Pretty safe with only one way in/out of park. They do clear out the wave pool every hour for 15 minutes. There are dry land rides and water rides.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING! Didn't even deserve 1 star. Half the rides are broke unless your under 48", wave pool didn't have waves, ride attendants werent doing their jobs and lines took 30 min for a 1 min ride. The bathrooms smelt like pee and their was blood all over the seats. PLUS that charge you tax at the gate even if you already bought your tickets.

Lots of fun my 12 year old and I we went on every roller coaster ride we could but just afternoon when we tried to do all the slides the lines were tremendous so try to get there early so you can get on the water slides

Look for discounts on their website otherwise it's fairly costly. Having said that, it's more than just a water park. There's some roller coasters and such. You're going to pay for parking as well as admission. Use the discounts to make it affordable.

Had a blast! It s a full day thing if you make but it could easily be a half day event. Lines were about 20 minutes on average. The food was average carnival price and average quality for a theme park.

A great place for both water rides and dry rides (especially the roller coasters!). Would recommend bringing your own food, going out and then re-entering the park because the food there isn't that good. Wait times can sometimes be long, but that's just because of how fun the rides are. Love it there!

Had a wonderful time with my family from Alaska before they left. Purchasing a ticket and gives you access to many rides and attractions including water rides. We had a blast all day and its best to go in the morning, because of short lines for rides. The food there is pricey so i leave my food in my car and you can re-enter from the exit by getting stamped on the hand by the gate. Fun for family and friends.

A mini-amusement park meets Great Wolf Lodge. Everything is a little bit smaller and a little bit shorter than the big parks.
We spent a whole day there and had fun.
Only complaints were:
1) Many rides were down or completely abandoned. I'm talking like 10 rides. Not a lot when you are a big park with 100s of rides but when you only have, what, 40 rides it's a lot.
2) seemed like the layout could have been done better. The hikes between the end of water rides (where you have to go to get tubes) and start of rides was long and many times uphill. For example, the Mountain Dew trio of slides. Other water parks have more automatic tube moving equipment to take tubes from end to beginning, saving riders the time and energy to hike a mile.
3) had a few complaints in the family and among other guests that a few rides need adjusted. The quick stop on the Wild Thing (when working) is neck breaking. The Mountain Dew yellow slide has some nasty bumps at the beginning of each curve.

Other than that it's a fun place and the only local place for that kinda fun.

We just happened to stop on our way through, and were skeptical based on the reviews, but the staff were courteous and friendly, and we had a great day!! Other reviews claim this place is dirty, but there were many staff trying to keep it clean...people threw their trash everywhere instead of using the plethora of trash receptacles through out the park. We had a wonderful time!

We purchased a Groupon, stood in a long entrance line and found out that Groupons need to go to will call. Once you get to will call you pay taxes on the Groupon tickets which was 13.60 for 4. In addition to the 102.00 I already paid. That wasn't the worst. This park is run down. It advertises a wave pool. NOT the wave pool you would expect where the bells go off and waves happen. Zilch! The lazy river has the dumbest rules. You have to be seated in a tube. You must in put in specific areas. The bathrooms are nasty not clean. Over all the park is not clean and run down. Such a waste of money. We stayed for 2 hours and left and then couldn't figure out where the exit was to leave. No signs leading you out of a large parking lot. The cost originally would have been 49.00 per person. DONT PAY THIS PRICE! Bad enough I got a "deal". I hope you read this review. You want a good clean fun park thats rather in expensive water park go to silverwood it's well worth the travel.

A+++

Had a great time here. Lots if fun rides and water slides. Parking is way over priced. Should be part of the admission. With tickets as expensive as they are, the added costs of parking limits the families who can enjoy this place. I guess you could always take metro there and save in the cost of parking. Bring your own snacks! Food is EXPENSIVE!!.
Only water is permitted into the park. No other types of drinks permitted.

Place was fun, but couldn't swim much. Everything 4ft or deeper was closed. Some people might like that but our family loves swimming and diving. Wish they posted that some things would be closed, we wouldn't have driven from Eugene Oregon if we would have known.

Always fun for both dry permanently installed amusement park rides and for the water rides and pools. Best place to beat the heat. Last years lights during the Christmas season were also totally amazing!

I went for the first time yesterday and will never be back. We took my son and three of his friends for a birthday celebration and I don't think I have anything positive to say. Perhaps weekdays are slightly better, but we work.

First and biggest issue is the overcrowding. They need to cap entry. There was not a single spare chair in the park and people were having to sit or lie on the concrete where they could find space. Some people brought their own chairs and even tents for shade. There is very little shade if you don't have a Cabana. They were all sold out of rental tubes for most of the day and lines for the water slides were an hour long each. There was a line of 20+ people just to get in the hot tub at all times and a line to get into the lazy river! My husband waited for 45 minutes in line for a couple of pretzels and I waited in line for over an hour for pizza. The water fill stations were not kept up and there were no cups, so we saw teens drinking directly from the spouts!

They are very understaffed with very poorly trained staff. The teens working there were excruciatingly slow and very disinterested. Many were just plain rude and less than helpful. We got all the way to the entrance before being told we had to go back out if we had a Groupon to get out tickets from another booth. When we bought pizza, they kept our receipt and wrote our name on it. After waiting in line more than an hour just to order, we started asking about our food after people behind us were getting theirs first. The kid told us we couldn't get our pizza without a receipt. It took us pointing to what we knew was our pizza sitting under the heat lamp and other customers in line telling them to give us our food for them to even check it and finally give it to us! When my son went to the deeper Activity Pool and found it closed, he asked the kid manning it why it was closed and when it would be open again. The reply to both was a dismissive, "Don't know." We discovered as we were leaving that it had been reopened.

The water was freezing!! I didn't get in past my ankles the entire day. It was seriously cold water. Kids were shivering all day trying to play in the wave pool or stand in line after getting wet. It was the same temperature as the rivers around here, which must not have been heated at all.

The rest are the same complaints as others. The concrete is a mess. It's terribly hot and tore up. There's little bits of gravel all over, so the kids' feet were in bad shape by the end of the day. The food is definitely overpriced, but I expected that.

Overall, my impression is that this company is doing a terrible job running the place. It was not a good experience for any of us, even the kids. I will not waste my time or money to go back unless they get new management and do some drastic overhauls. It would be MUCH better spent going to KahNeeTah or Oaks Park. There are enough other places in the region doing it right than to waste your time and money on what feels like a trashy, run-down theme park.

And not a whole lot of variety

The Year-pass is helpful for my large family. I also enjoy Fright Fest. The Christmas/Holiday Lights thing is just Christmas-themed and abysmally cold, which was disappointing for our family, but that maybe be just right for others.

I really wish I could rate BIG ZERO to Wild waves. Super wastage of time + energy + money. For every ride you have to wait at least one hour. TOO SLOW PROCESS. I suggest to all who are planning to go - PLS DON'T GO.
Height was that we waited almost two hours for one ride and after such long wait one supervisor came and she said - it's closed for the day.
Worst place to go, so guys pls don't waste money and time.

What do you get when you mix bad pavement, super long lines, overcrowded, cold water, filthy, overpriced, bad management and tasteless food into one experience? A very nasty concoction, and this park did it just right.

Spending almost 3 hours in line to walk through a haunted house. Don't have enough time before they close to go to the bigger one. So basically $25 per person to go on one ride and one haunted house.... Not worth it

I ve been to this park many times, and have also visited many other water parks. The Northwest clearly has smaller water parks; however, this park is a good size and has a wide variety of fun options!
My complaints have to do with cleanliness of bathrooms, ridiculous safety rules, and low quality workers.
I have never been to a water park with so many unreasonable safety rules. Lines take forever because of the amount of wait time between riders, even though the area is already clear and ready. The height requirements for rides are unreasonable, especially compared to other parks. No tubes are allowed in the so called Wave Pool (waves were more like ripples in the water). AND, there is no swimming or floating without a tube in the lazy river! Ive never been in a wave pool without a tube AND have never been required to use a tube in a Lazy River. Extremely odd!
I wonder if the newer, unreasonable rules are due to the lower quality of workers/lifeguards?? My last complaint is about the number of closures. I have only seen the Log Ride (can t remember its name at this park), open one out of the last 4 times (in 3 years) of visiting this park. There seem to be quite a few closures and I have clearly noticed this as a pattern.
Sadly, For $50 to get in, I ll spend my money going to another Theme Park. I sure hope someone steps up and cleans this park back up while exploring ways to keep the fun in each and every ride!

Nice quaint theme park with good vibes that are completely ruined by misleading advertising, anti-customer practices and greed.

My wife and I visited the park for the first time today after moving to Federal Way to check it out and see what it was all about. We bought our day passes and noted that the sign at the counter specifically said "Ask me how to upgrade your daily ticket to a season pass!" As we explored the park and decided how we wanted to spend our day we came to the conclusion that we would like to come back in the future and went to upgrade our tickets, as advertised. Unfortunately, due to the current sale we were informed that it was impossible to upgrade tickets since the current promotion was supposedly too good of a deal to combine with other offers.

This is absolutely absurd and something any young child can figure out within their first hour of playing Rollercoaster Tycoon on an old computer, it shouldn't be a surprise to an actual business that the net result for the customer is unacceptable with this setup (as an aside my nephews would love to compare RTC high scores since they're pretty sure they have you beat). At the end of the day, after visiting the park my wife and I were willing to pay $100+ to get season passes and to come back in the future for more visits, each of which generating more revenue for the park. At the time when we arrived at the park, this exact offer was on the table for us to purchase season passes for that $100, enjoy the park for the day and come back. To say that the nearly $60 we paid to get in is forfeit when the final outcome we desired was originally offered is absurd. You don't go to a dealer, test drive a $40,000 car and then get told that it is now $65,000 because you had the audacity to see if you liked it, the car is simply still $40,000 and McDonalds doesn't say "would you like to upgrade to a large for $0.50 more and then charge you full price for both the medium and large because you initially considered the medium. Upgrading a ticket isn't a promotion on the season pass, it's applying the redundant purchase towards an upsell, this isn't rocket science.

In addition to this there was no visible management and not a single of the front line team members seemed like they had any interest in creating a positive customer experience. It was simply "well we can't apply that discount to the season pass, too bad" and an implied "if you don't like it you can leave" -which we did. We had initially planned on buying dinner and maybe doing the skycoaster and then visiting the park multiple times again. Instead we rode a few more rides for free and left. I guess we've checked the Wild Waves box and won't be coming back because obviously they don't want our money. It's sad that such an old and well established park has zero business sense and doesn't realize that the actual park experience is the most powerful advertisement you have; to penalize guests and charge them for the privileged of biting off on that advertisement is simply flabbergasting and not something I've come across at any other park I've ever visited. It also appears that I was not alone in being caught off guard by this bizarre business "logic," as I was filling out a customer comment card another family came up to the admissions window and inquired about upgrading to a season pass and then promptly left the park in disgust as well.

Overall it's a nice park, a bit small but well done. If it gets overcrowded the lines for the limited ride offerings might exceed wait times that are worth it but today was perfect. The pricing would be acceptable so long as you aren't forced to pay for the same thing multiple times, but for the actual cost after the scams you might as well plan a trip to a full size park since the net result exceeds the "small town park" experience price.

This place is horrible. Kids party and we were supposed to get a discount. When we got to the gate their system was down. So not only did we not get the discount. We also could only use cash. They over pack this place long lines and unsafe conditions.

Worst time our family has ever had at an amusement...

Worst time our family has ever had at an amusement park. The inefficiencies in the way that Wild Waves runs its operations are ASTOUNDING. If your line is wrapped completely around your entire parking lot causing a 45 minute wait (a line we had to wait in despite buying tickets online), you re doing it inefficiently. Then having to wait another 40 minutes just to get a locker, we lost 1.5 hours just trying to in and get what we needed. By the way, we visited on a Monday, not even a weekend.
The rest of the day was more or less spent doing exactly the same thing, WAITING. WAITING. WAITING. 1 hour and 20 minutes wait for zooma. 45 minutes to get on the lazy river.
The entire park seemed way over capacity. There were so many people in the lazy river that fingers were getting smashed left and right. I saw terrified kids getting tipped over by rowdy people trying to push their way through a traffic jam of tubes 30 deep in there and the life guards did nothing about it. At one point, teenagers were jumping up and down causing huge waves in the lazy river knocking my kids out of their tubes (who didn t stop even when I asked politely) and when they passed a lifeguard she said Hey, that s so cool. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? When we tried to get out after that, because of the overcrowding in there, while my daughter was trying to get out another tube crashed into her and pinned her arm against the wall. She was screaming and while I was trying to help her not only did the lifeguard who was standing directly over us not do anything other than yell at the girl who was bumping into her to move on, another person who was waiting to enter the pool actually grabbed my son who fell into the water trying to get out because he too was knocked down. Having people exit and enter from the same place is ludicrous.
Kids area was a nightmare. There was a ham sandwich floating in the pool, disintegrating everywhere. Kids climbing up the slide causing collisions..not a lifeguard in site in that area. Wavepool way overcapacity. Couldn't move even though it was a huge pool.
Not enough employees working the amusement park. One employee per ride to buckle people in, let them out and run the ride causing long lines.
Not once but twice I had to go into customer relations and ask them to fill up the water station. Given that this was the only place to get water in this area, that should be made a priority. Then of course we had to wait for the water to come since we weren t about to stand in a line 35 people deep at the adjoining snack spot to get a bottled drink since there weren t enough employees working there either.
In 8 hours at the park we were able to do 7 attractions. We basically spent the entire day waiting.
One final comment, you should be ashamed at the amount of trash in the park. Everywhere we looked there was trash on the ground. Lids of trash cans were taken off and placed on the ground because they were overflowing. Seagulls as you well know were taking full advantage of this feast. It was disgusting.
I will never return to your park again and have spoken with many people who share the same sentiments and others who were glad to be warned by us.
Wrote a letter of complaint and was sent a canned "sorry you didn't enjoy your visit" response. LAME!
