Wild Waves Theme Park Reviews

Wild Waves is a fantastic place to bring the kids. This is a water park plus an amusement park. The rides are great. There are multiple roller coasters, thrill rides, and water slides. There is a bungie jump and zip line as well. The food and service here is fantastic. There is a bar and outdoor picnic area. Great for large and small groups, and extremely affordable.

Its a fun place but lines take forever and it is a bit pricey, around $500 for 4 of us with food, games, over priced locker etc...

Most rides are great, and waits aren't too bad. The park seems a little run down, and almost all employees seems to hate their job. Overall though it is worth the price of entry (especially if you check for deals online).

Always a pleasure. One price gets you the water park as well as all the rides.

Don't go at Halloween there's no limit to the people they let in. I waited 3 hours for a less than 5 minutes lame haunted house. There were more "haunted house" but no time to get through the line. The place was just way over packed. 80$ to be disappointed. Go home and watch the news its scary and disappointing right from your couch... Or read a Steven king book?

It's Super crowded; bring your own food- the offerings here are super expensive and are pretty nasty. Attractions are pretty cool, however.

Please do not waste your time and money. Prices are misleading, food is very cheap overpriced and sodas are diluted with water. Worse part of the whole experience was waiting 2 hours for ONE Halloween attraction. We got there at 5pm and only could ride 2 rides before it closed. When we left 100 more people waiting in line to come into the park. They sell way too many tickets for what the park can handle. Also a lot of staff members are really rude to people. (Kinda can t blame them) please take your money elsewhere.

Awesome place. Fun additions. Kid friendly. Safe. Definitely has its down sides. Lockers are ridiculously expensive. The bathrooms are disgusting and old.

So much fun! The lazy river and the rapids are the best part!

Family fun and not too crowded on a Tiesday in August!

Everything expensive, long waiting times for rides, 45 min just to go in the lazy river, lockers are a joke, this was on a Saturday!

A lot of things to do here with the family. Food prices are a bit expensive, but you can pack food in your vehicle and leave and come back. The website does inform you of rides that are closed, so if you're really wanting to go on certain rides check out the site first.

Don t waste your money. They over crowd this place way too much. There is so many people that you cannot enjoy anything. The lines are hours long to get on anything, the lifeguards are rude, and by the end of the day you ve maybe gotten to get on 4 attractions if your lucky. We waited 2hours just to get to park because the lines were so long. Biggest waste of money. Maybe if they actually put quality over quantity here it would be a great place. But no they pack as many people in here as they possibly can so no one can enjoy it

A great water park whit good kid rides good rolercosters

Lines were short staff was nice. Can't wear water shoes any more for some reason. The only problem I had was that I paid $70 for food for 5 people and got moldy hamburger buns and cold fries. Like really.

You need to have a separate line just for ordering sodas. Shouldn't have to wait in line with 20 people just to get a refill.

Very overpriced and long lines. Employees spent most of the time complaining to one another about how much they didnt want to be there.

This business is crooked!! We bought our seasons passes based on the message from the President in May 2020, that the park will be fully operational by the end of June 2020. We were willing to lose a few weeks of the season because the message seemed that it will be open after months of preparing due to Covid-19. As of today, 07/23/2020, the park has yet to open. We called, emailed to get a response, nothing. We requested a refund, nothing. So far we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and disputed the charges for no service through our credit card company. These people are out to take your money with no consequences for no operating. Currently on their website, you still purchase season passes. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Everything is overpriced. Even if you buy season passes. 4 bucks for a Pepsi that tastes like City water is not ok.

I have a problem with their policy of about not bringing in outside food. Every concession stand there today on Monday there was one teenager working at each stand I waited 45 minutes for a corn dog and there was one young man working the Corndog stand and there were seven people in front of me and I waited 45 for 7 people in front of me. But I saw people with coolers and outside food and they let them in.

Took the kids and we had a great time lots of fun for the day family adventures

Came up for Fright Fest. It was pretty subpar. Lines were very long... in 3 hours my group managed to go on 3 rides...with an hour wait in each line. A good portion of the rides were out of service. The lines for the haunted houses were insane so we didn't even try. I estimate it would have been a two hour wait in the lines. I don't think WW "sells out" of tickets, which I'm sure makes them a lot of
money but it's a lot of money to stand in lines for 3 hours. Place was overrun by teenyboppers, which is typical but it would be nice if WW implemented a 21 and over night for all the kids at heart. Overall it was still a good experience for the 3 rides we went on ;)

The park was ok, a lot of rides were closed so the lines were horrible at other rides. There were 3 of us that went so, one of us had to sit out on any of the two seat dry rides, as we were told one of us could not go by ourselves ( which I m sorry, but if I pay, it should not matter that I was by myself on a ride). I feel it was a waste of money to go, I wish we would have been told a lot of the rides were closed and maybe the policy that I had to have an additional person in our group for me to be able to ride the rides with my kiddos.

Fun place for kids and nice water slides. It could be 5 stars if they have following:
1. Clean restrooms
2. Life vests for kids and infants

Really fun and a mix of new and classic. I'm terrified of amusement rides but my teenagers had a really great time! Reasonably priced (pre-pay online) and big parking lot. We just did the enchanted village side and were there for 4 hours!

Lots of fun doing everything, the elephant ears were disappointing however.

Kind of a ghetto version of a water park. But it's all we got. Staff isn't that great

It used to be better maintained. Rest rooms are filthy. Too many people are allowed in making the lines to the attraction ridiculously slow

Today my husband and myself took our two youngest kids here. We both had gone as kids and loved it. So we were excepting to have that same experience today. Sadly we did not. So many of the water rides were gone, the lines were long and slow at the water park. The food was WAY over priced. We got 3 small ICEE s and it came to $17 dollars!! You re not allowed to bring food in. I can understand that, but when they quadruple the price of the food it makes it hard to afford to buy it!! Then you go to the other part of the park and more than half the rides weren t even running. On the kangaroo ride my husband and daughters safety bar broke!! He told the operator of the ride and the kid says OH REALLY NOT MY PROBLEM !!! For the price you pay for admission you should have a better and safer experience. I am writing this review to let other parents and people know what they maybe getting their selves into if they choose to go to wild waves. We will not be going back after our experience today.

wish the water park was alwas open and water needs to be warmer

Best adventure of ever had! There's slides are off the chain and I love their rides definitely something I'm going to do as much as possible

Food is very bad, if you allergic to gluten forget to find some healthy choices you can't even find salad to eat there and you cannot bring your own food. overall the place is fun.

2 stars, only because the water rides are decent. Other than that, it would only get 1 star. The owners of this park need to learn how to repaint, repave, and most importantly, just clean areas up. My kids and I were there on Opening Day 2018, and there was litter in an a que line, that was clearly from 2017. There's also not enough benches for parents to sit on. There is a lot of space around the bumper cars, to put some benches, maybe even a couple of garbage cans, and a vendor or 2. If you're going to charge Cedar Fair prices for Season Passes, at least step up your game a bit more.

Food and drinks are overpriced and the rides are mediocre at best the wave pool doesn't have big waves only small to medium sized waves

Way too many people and only half of the wave pool was open on a really hot day. Too overcrowded. I have passes for the whole family and paid 450 for them plus parking pass. Not worth it when half the rides are always shut down.

Fun place to cool off. They could do better on food. There is no healthy food.

Great priced theme park. One huge problem wild waves needs to address and I will increase my stars given. The walkways up to the water park slides is unbearable. The concrete has worn out leaving a jagged concrete pathway to every slide. Since you don't allow shoes on the slides your forced into bare feet. My feet hurt for days afterwords.

The haunted houses were ok at best. Best part about it was the rides that were open. Will not go back for this

Fun place! Short lines, good priced food and games, and overall a good family outing!

A LOT of people, filthy bathrooms and a lot of kids running the show. Rides are good and slides are good.

Had a blast riding the rides during the day and getting scared in the haunted house at night.

Terrible park, old rides, poorly planned layout. It's sad that this is all we have for a theme park in Washington.

Rollercoasters aren't as big and exhilarating as some of the bigger theme parks (Cedar Point, Disney, etc) but they are fun. Water park has a pretty good variety. Can get all the rides (wet and dry) done in a day if it isn't busy. A surprising amount of closures happened on various rides throughout the day.

I'm a season pass holder and every time I visit the park my favorite rides and slides are closed, I'm not renewing my passes next year

Love Wild Waves. A lot of attractions to ride, and the water park to cool off during the heat. They keep the park clean but can get messy and the bathrooms aren't always checked up on but decent. Ask the life guards if you need help finding assistance or have questions super helpful.

Don't even bother going to fright fest on a weekend night or even a Friday night. We had a 2 hour car ride and got there around 6:00. We went on 1 RIDE IN 3 HOURS. And waited in the ring of fire line for 30min with kids making out and doing drugs and we were still at the very beggining of the line. Definitely a waste of money and time when you could be doing something way better for a 13th birthday party. You wouldn't even be able to do 3 rides in the 6 hours of the dang fest thing. Don't waste your money or time on this if your looking for a fun time with your family and friends.

Enjoyed the park yet again, it was a fun filled day. we happened to be there the second hottest day of the year so it got a little packed after a while. but all in all it was SO FUN! and of course in the future we will return.The employees and staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great experience!

My mom friends and I came today and we are very disappointed in the money we spent to come to this place. It was packed which was understandable because its pride weekend and it was a weekend. Our problems came in the fact that the park was GROSS. It looks like it has not been cleaned in years.
There were a lot of attractions shut down which is very disappointing due to the fact we had only one day here and we spent a ton of money. And then to be waiting in lines for an hour?
There needs to be more organization.
Better customer service. One of the food stands my friends had horrible customer service with the cashiers. They were not at all respectful.
We feel that this place is a waste of time and money for what you spend to go here and is not at all worth your effort to take a road trip here or to even visit for a day. This place sucks.
I remember I had been here summer of 2016 and had the same experience as well.
If I were the owner I would not let this place operate the way it is operated right now.
And no seatbelts on the ride that goes upside down? that's sketchy.

it is fun place to go. its a huge land more than u see from highway. all day long u can stay.

My first time there was awesome.
My daughter had a blast.. but Don't remember seeing water fountain for drink, i just remember being so thirsty, didnt wanna buy those expensive drinks.

Too crowded, we have done only two slides, some of the slides closed. Food poor quality.

We had two water shoes sucked up under the stairs at the end of the water slides and they couldn't find them!

Fright Fest is a complete disappointment and rip off. They way oversell admission so it is impossible to see more than one haunted house. The lines are outrageous and the supposed best haunted house was a joke, not scary at all. They don't have enough restrooms or concessions open either. What a waste of time and money!

Easy drop off and pick up...my kids had a blast at the Haunted Halloween

Kids loved it. If you pack a lunch, bring a couple of chairs, and tailgate in the parking lot, it saves a lot of money and you can eat a little healthier!
