The only good thing about this place was Sharkys. Having a 21+ only area with beer was and no lines made the day. The rest of the park was in complete disarray. You had to wait in line to buy food then wait in a separate line to give them your receipt and pickup your food. they didn't even start cooking until you gave the receipt back. We left early and will not be returning.

I would not reccomend the Ring of Fire ride to any children. My friends and I were sliding about and we had to brace ourselves against the ceiling to avoid flying forward. They need to have a shoulder harness. Other rides are a good time, though, and the Timberhawk was very fun. The waterslides are exciting, and the wavepool was fun. However, the food was overpriced and not at all worth the hour long wait at the very clearly understaffed restaurant.

Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is an amusement park and water park in Federal Way, Washington. Opened in 1977 as The Enchanted Village, the park is a popular summer destination in the Pacific Northwest and it is Washington state's only water and amusement park.

There is so much more they could add to this venue to improve. I feel like it's been a bit stagnant on the enchanted village side and the rides need to be updated or add more. I can't stand the new design of the Waterpark. Those who have wheelchairs or strollers have to walk all the way around the park to get to enchanted village now and you can't cut through by the old green slides. It's extremely annoying and a waste of time and energy. I also disappointed in the membership deals this year, you for way more for your money last year. I would give them two stars, but I feel that they have really good safety practices and they do well for their staff and entry prices.

I have season passes and as usual, our family had a great time. This would be 5 stars, but every time I'm there either they are short handed and a ride is closed or like today a ride is shut down while I'm in line. It's a little frustrating, but there is always plenty to do to keep the kids entertained and safe is always better than sorry.

Fun place to take the kids. Kinda expensive. Kids enjoyed the park.
Liked the wooden roller coaster.
It was 10 bucks for a locker but well worth it.
Military discount was nice.
Fun and safe place to take the kids

Served us food that was stacked on top of each other with the bottoms of plates touching our food. Filling cups 1/2 way with ice then stacking the cups, with the dirty bottoms touching the ice before filling with pop. Not one smile showed on any employees face. Bees crawling in the cups touching pop then still serving the drinks. Counters where nasty, sticky, with bees everywhere. Food was more then discusting. Had to walk to three different dip and dot stands before one of them finally took card. Asked the lady for a spoon and she said "get one yourself" as she walked away. Only reason why they get 1 star is cuz I had to put something to be able to write a review.
Rides Wernt bad. Just don't plan on eating there unless you want it to ruin your mood and kill your trip. Employees suck.

When they decide to get their rides working and you can get a good deal on Groupon and you get the cabana because you're ready to enjoy the park the right way, it's a solid choice for fun and entertainment. I've seen events going on year round and really enjoy taking my brother and the kids along when we get the chance!

What a disappointing day most of the rides and water slides where closed and wave pool was more like a ripple with plenty of out of the pool so life quards can do there life-saving drills, and only three tubes on the very popular family tube slide ,staff was very slow from getting people down slides to getting people there order at the extremely over priced concessions

This place has an amazing wooden roller coaster, a fantastic steel coaster, plenty of rides for the children and everyone else in your family. There are about 10+ waterslides throughout the park that will keep you entertained just by themselves. Plus you have a great wave pool and lazy river. Plus it doesn't cost as much as other water parks I've been to.

We had fun. A lot of unsupervised kids running around acting like jerks though. The rides were not croweded at all as everyone was at the waterpark. Fair priced items in park. All the staff was super nice. We bought our passes on groupon and I was a little upset we were charged tax on the full price of everything at the park and not what I had actually purchased it for, which made no sense to me and they couldn't tell me why.

The family and I had a great time. We bought a Groupon for $112.00 which included four people and parking which was a great deal. Once we checked into will call that's when I found out I had to pay $13.00 tax, still a good deal. We went to rent a locker which are priced from 12 to 20 dollars. Unless you really need a locker I suggest you leave everything in your vehicle and waterproof your wallet and cell phone with plastic zip lock bags like I did. If you are going to rent a tube do it after you ride the Zooma Falls, and the Rip Tide. You cannot take rental tubes on these rides and if you leave them in the grass the life guards will confiscate them. They know you are in line waiting but they use the excuse of Oh I thought this was an abandoned tube, therefore wasting your hard earned money. Bring water shoes the ground is extremely hot and your dogs will be begging for relief. Lastly get there early as possible. Parking is a beast. I parked in the rear and believe me when you're ready to go walking to the rear of the lot is not just a job its an adventure.

We had a great time! The water in/on all the water rides is heated. There is plenty to do! We went at a great time as there wasn't any real waiting in lines like there has been in the past. The pricing for food isn't horrible like it usually is at theme parks. And you are allowed to go out to your car to eat and return if you need too.

They overcharge for EVERYTHING, and they charge you for everything. An extra ten/fifteen dollars just for parking, another ten dollars for a locker and so on. I got a major discount through my work on the tickets, but if not for that I would not go. If I really wanted an affordable family vacation I would go to Silverwood and not Wild Waves.

Fun day trip, but overpriced. Parking is $10. Food is approx $8-$10 for a meal; no outside food allowed except water bottles. Family lockers are $21, but you receive $5 back when you return the key. Some attractions weren't open because they were short staffed; when I pay for a park, I expect all rides to be open. The lazy river requires an intertube; other parks allow you to be in the lazy river without an intertube.

This place is extremely fun. It is very pricey though. If you are only going for the day, make sure you get there when it first opens and stay as long as you can deal with staying. Really get your money's worth. All the concessions can be a little pricey too. I would suggest getting the season pass if you are going to go more than once in the year. You get a lot of perks, particularly if you buy it during the early sale in Fall. There is a lot of parking but the close spots fill up quickly.
I had so much fun playing in some of the water rides that I couldn't stop laughing.

Awesome theme park in Washington! About a 30 minute drive to Seattle this location is not only a fun stop for tourists, but also a great place to take your date or family! I only warn everyone about the long lines for the water, and the very hot pavement (be sure to bring your water shoes!)! If you want to get ahead of all the lines a trick that has worked for me is to hit all the water rides in the morning, then do the dry rides. The lines won't be that long, and you will have a lot more time for more rides!!

Surprised by how much this theme park has changed!!! I grew up going here every summer and the enchanted village used to be my favorite part!!! Now it s nothing but run down! All of the new items are on the wild waves side and I don t feel like there s any magic in the other side of the park anymore.... in fact it was practically deserted when we walked through. Please revive the ENCHANTMENT and stop focusing on the water park! Also whats with the wave pool? Waves were TINY!! And multiple rides just closed! We couldn t even get a lemonade and corn dog without standing in line almost an hour, with only one poor lady working the stand on a weekend!

Awesome family fun place! I loved it! I got to go there while I was visiting family we had a great time I wish I visited when it was warmer I would have rather went into the pools the rides were a much for me, but still all and all I had a great time. Would go back if I ever have the chance.

The park was fun loved all the rides I went on. It was a bit pricey and I felt ripped off. I recommend this for you if you want to do something fun. One thing they need to do better is to have more working employees because they were young teenagers and goofed around way to much

I kept my expectations low coming here and had not read any reviews beforehand. We had family in town so we took four boys 9-12 yrs old for the afternoon. Here was the good. It was better then what I was expecting (low expectations). Both rollercoaster rides were fun and while the kids enjoyed several other rides, us adults did the more mellow Wave Pool and Kongo Lazy River. On a hot day it was great. Overall it was a good experience and I think we'd come back again. Bought tickets online which did save us some funds. Now the not so good that kept it from 5 stars. First the male bathroom was pretty nasty which you kind of expect, but the only available stall my son went into had someones underwear and plate of nachos in it, etc. The lockers were very expensive at $15. Food was okay. Anyway, kids had fun and so did the adults hence the 4 star rating. We went on a Thursday and imagine weekends are a mad house which could affect my rating. Check it out!

It's okay. The rides seem old. I wish they would clean them. Somenof the kiddie rides have years of dirt built up. When I was younger we could pack in our own food. Now you're stuck buying their over priced cr@p.

The park has gotten much smaller than 15 years ago. Its pretty lame the rides are closed at 8pm. $45 per person and the park isn't even open long enough to actually enjoy the whole day. Locker rentals are a joke! Other option? Leave change of clothes and shoes etc. in the car so you have to spend an hour back and forth to enjoy both water and ride side. Also, what the hell happened to the real waves in the wave pool? I feel like I got my kids hopes up for something with a bit more. Business could improve with a few minor adjustments. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the park's ability to meet expectations for my average family. In closing, if you're going to have icee stands, they should be open, not have a sign saying the open time but no one in sight an hour past "opening". If you're traveling far to get here, don't waste your time.

Fun place. Clean. It shows it age. Nothing what some paint would take care of. Went opening day and amazed how little cleaning and pressure washing was not done. Lots of green moss on slides where they leak. Otherwise fun day. Lines long

Spent alot of money to get in and lots of rides were shut down!!!! Very very upset! My younger child has social anxiety and they wouldn't allow me to ride one with him even thou I met the height requirement and I'm only 105 pounds. I was sad about that. We also waited in 2 lines FOREVER, no signs around saying a height requirement and waited to get to the top to be measured with a ruler and denied. Who does that? Have a kid wait all excited to be shut down
POST CLEAR SIGNS GUYS. PLEASE!!!!
Prob not coming back for a while.

The lines are way to long for the water attractions. I would recommend going to the amusement side first. Than going to spend the rest of your time if your willing to wait in line for 45-60 minutes for a 5-10 second ride on the water attractions.
Also if u have little ones with u, u will be waiting even longer for the double intertubes. Rent your own if possible.
Also so that u dont have to pay 25.00 for a locker I would recommend getting a water proof case that goes around your neck before u get there because u will either be paying 22.99 for the case there or they will be sold be sold out and u will be forced to pay 25.00 for a locker.
It's fun but be ready to spend alot of money and wait in line for a long time.

It was really fun, until I got stuck on the blue and yellow roller coaster. TWICE! me and a lot of people on the ride, noticed that the park was going down hill and probably won't be open for much longer... Back when wild waves first opened, the workers were very... Bright. But now, they look like they are praying for their shift to end. I went on a summer Friday, nice weather and all. Those are usually the days where it's super packed but not anymore...

Great slides. Kids over 48" have the most options though there are rides and slides for younger ones. The amusement side is great keeping in mind the height restrictions. Scary wooden roller coaster!
