Very disappointed. There is a water park just down the street, but I took eight people down for the fantastic wave pool, which was broken when we arrived. When I complained and asked for a partial refund for two tickets, the on-line customer service form that I submitted, twice, was roundly ignored.

We are from east coast and this was perfect summer time FUN! I read the reviews and was nervous to go there but now that I'm here it is deafly my top three parks for kids under 15. Rides are awesome no lines , At least on weekdays. Just what we were looking for at a great price.

A place that kids love and I endure. The payoff for me is that kids can get amusement park rides without traveling. Its relatively cheap since I live in the area. Then, if we ever do go to something like Disneyland, hopefully they can skip some of these common rides.

Cost saving tips: 1. Get a season pass there the first weekend its open or before. Get a parking pass if you intend to go more than a few times and dont want to bus there 2. Get a waterproof phone holder or fanny pack for 1 credit card, 1 key and 1 phone. There are lots of these on Amazon. You can skip the paid lock boxes and carry the rest. 3. Pack a lunch that you can keep in the car and eat . You can get your hand stamped and go in and out. 4. Skip eating there, either pack food in the car or go out to dinner after or both 5. Bring your own water bottle. Water refills are free. 6. You can often get away with each person taking 1 small food item in their bag - like a granola bar, fruit leather, or small lunch box sized bag of chips. This helps, especially with young kids.

We went to Great Wolf Lodge also. For us, season passes and a parking padd to Wild Waves are cheaper than 1 night at Great Wolf Lodge and the water activities are similar. For the most part, we will stick with Wild Waves.

Sunscreen. Take lots of sunscreen.

(6.11.18 Update: The Middle part has OPENED, I found a Water Fountain by the RING OF FIRE in the DRY ride section & we did some Dry Rides).

They've closed down the middle of the water park for construction during the Open Season, they took away the water fountain and they don't have this electrolyte drink in first aid in case someone gets heat stroke, they take time away from the wave pool 2 show people that they're working on either a live person or a dummy 2 do CPR. The plus side of it is that they have taken the Beer Garden down and put in more fast food type food. The beer and drinks are upstairs above the locker rental and first aid area. We haven't tried the dry rides yet. Wild Waves is trying to get back in the good graces of the public because of several lifeguards last year ignoring the fact that a guy was drowning at the bottom of the closed-off "construction area" and ended up dying.

Somehow manages to be a giant theme park without a theme. It's got sort of a mom-and-pop feel and a some of "this was held over from the seventies." I don't know what kind of messed up kids you would have that wouldn't have a good time here. :-)

Lots of rides, we were there for 8 hours and didn't even ride all of them. My kids loved everything but I have to say only 2 of the rides had a happy smiling face, we were greeted mostly by scowling what seemed like job hating faces. I felt like they would be just as happy throwing me off the slide as pushing us down it. I fell on the stairs coming out of the water and the girl just stood there with a disgusted look and looked away. Otherwise the park is great!

Been a favorite amusement park since I was a kid. Now I have kids to take here. After going on rides for a couple hours, we all cooled down in the water park. Lots of people, without the feeling of being over crowded or waiting forever in lines.

We had a blast. Defintely a good place to take the kiddos for a day. Lots of stuff for all ages. Pretty expensice though. Remember to bring a bottle of water. It's $3 for a little bottle inside the park.

Incredible experience in this water park, there are many mechanical attractions to enjoy children and adults. Parking has a cost and tickets to the park can be obtained cheaper online than on site.

This is a pleasant lower tier amusement park. There's enough to do for families. I'd say the focus is on the water slides. The entrance price isn't too steep however the parking cost is high considering the entrance ticket. I paid $19 to get in but $10 to park. I'm more of a hard core coaster guy but for what it is, this park delivers for the cost.

Went to frieght fest. The lines were so long. Each ride we waited between 45 minutes and an hour. The lines for the haunted houses were halfway across the park. I would not recommend going anyone. We paid 25 dollars for parking and 100 to get in for 4 people.

Awesome time with the kids. Although the employees at the food area and icee stands just look like they do not want to be there. They moved super slow. Overall the amusement and water park was great.

Its amazing here, love almozt all the rides. Except I have 1 major issue, the ring of fire is extremly dangerous for people on the smaller side. It didnt lock me in and I started slipping out while holding onto the ride, never go on it they need to fix it.

After reading a lot of negative reviews my expectations were fairly low. But overall my family had a lot of fun! The park is not pristine by any means, but the rides seem safe, and my kids really enjoyed them. It is a little expensive, but worth the money once a year!

I truly enjoy coming here. The season passes are very worth the buy. The water park is fun, lines are moderate during the weekdays, and the amusement rides have a good amount of variety. My only complaint is that the management doesn't seem to hold their staff to very high standard. They have their staff smoking right at the entrance / exit gates, and the bathrooms are always pretty gross (even when the staff obviously have noticed).

My son won two admission tickets so I took him and my daughter. If we hadn't won the tickets, we would have put the money towards Great Wolf Lodge as this park is pricey for what you get. Especially if your kids don't like thrill rides or are on the younger side. If you go, bring picnic items to go back out and eat in your vehicle. You can leave and reenter the park. I saw several families doing this, and I wish we had. I get that eating in the park is sometimes part of the treat, but what we got was horrible. We got pizza slices, and my kids wouldn't eat it because it was that bad. The elephant ear with icecream and whipped cream was good though!! The staff were indifferent to say the least....boardering on rude. The wave pool (I am not sure if that is what it was. It might have been broke) was nice. It was a salt water heated pool. Overall, it just isn't worth the price. There are several places in this beautiful state to go to than here.

Dealt with alot of attitude alot complaining watched the operator at space racer get annoyed cause kids were taking to long. When working a place like this it's not about you the employee its about making memorable experiences for the children.

This was my first time going to Wild Waves. I enjoyed the water ride, as well as the other coated tides. The corkscrew ride - I was surprised by how much it jarred my neck! I thought it would be smoother.

We went on a very hot day and had to wait over an hour to go on one slide. We spent a good 7 hours here and most of it was standing in line and searching for water. Lunch? We stood in line for 45 mins. The staff was incredibly rude with every interaction we had. There are not any water fountains in this park and they had coolers in one area that were filled with water but were empty when we tried to get some for our kids. We then approached a vending machine and tried to purchase water but the machine was sold out. Frustrated we went to one booth labeled "snacks" and were told someone would be with us in about 5 mins. There was no one in line and literally 5 employees standing around talking. I asked for a bottle of water and the young man snapped at me and said they didn't sell water. Are you kidding me? We walked ACROSS the park to another "snack" booth and stood for about a minute before a young woman employee turned to myself, husband and 4 thirsty children and told us "there isn't anything in here for you." and abrubtly put her back to us again and carried on her gossip with the rest of the staff. I asked for directions to purchase some water as this was the 3rd attempt and my children were very hot and thirsty. The young man named Marcus said," I don't know what the hell you mean by 3rd stop for water but I have water right here." No one said hello. No one greeted us. We were obviously an annoyance. Thankfully we were given 2 free cups of water to share between the 6 of us. We finished the water and left. Terrible first experience for our kids. All 4 said they don't ever want to go back.

Went for fright fest (? The Halloween event). It was extremely busy. The biggest attractions were the haunted houses. We stood in VERY long lines for two( of 4) and honestly only one of them was worth it. Very limited on the rides that were open. It was a meh experience. I would like to try it out as a water park on a normal day.

It's got a good amount of rides and it also tells you the level of fun you can have before you get on. It also has a good amount of water slides and rollercoasters, although they do hurt your neck because of a lot.of bumpy turns. Tucked up in certain corners are more rides than you'll see unless you truly walk around the park.
Just make sure you go on a day they're all open because all the rides are not always open.

They have split the two parks again this year and Increased the prices all around. We normally get a season pass but we will not be doing that next year. We bought refillable cups when we renewed last year for a higher price but when we got our passes we were told that we didn't. The price for a parking pass doubled. As did the price for a wrist lanyard for the pass.

Normally really fun, but when me and my kids went the wave pool and pirates cove were closed. Lines for everything. Ended up usingone of our water bottles to cool down and ended up leaving. Maybe fright fest will make up for the end of summer heat stroke we endured....

I had to change my rating. Coming as a customer is great and yes the park can be expensive but as an employee is not so great. I'll spare details but I refuse to work for them ever again. It's a good first job but I won't plan to stay employed with them. On the bright side they helped me figure out what I want to do with my life. Just not for them.

So, in the past couple years they have made some exciting changes. But they also haven't been capping the number of people coming in so the lines are ridiculous, there is not a single thing you can do in the water park that doesn't have a Long line except the wave pool and activity pool, which are usually full of people so you can't swim anywhere so much as walk.
If you want to spend your days on slides and splashing with friends, this is not the place. If you want to work on your tan by standing in line for the entirety of your stay, great option.

We went for my birthday and left partway through the day because our feet were getting crispy and hurt from standing on the hot pavement all day for a minute or so of sliding etc.

It would be one star, but enchanted village is pretty great and the lines get moved through just like they did before. They have been cutting out the best rides over the past few years, so what would be 3 stars for enchanted village is instead 2.

The attractions were great!! The staff was so rude, and the food was nasty!! We couldn't even sit in our cabana because their was so many bees!! Definitely not worth the money I paid!! If you want to ride a slide plan on waiting in line for a good 45 minutes! I will not go back.

So amazing!!!! We just got out to the parking lot from here and we had a blast! We were able to go on rides that were super fun! We went to the park at 1 pm and the lines were barely long!!! It s a great place and I definitely recommend!!!!

A little on the pricey side but it is definitely a day full of fun. I wished they would allow you bring your own food into the park as they lack on healthy affordable food options. They have rollercoasters as well as water slides...fun for the whole family
