DISGUSTING!!! Sat July 28th Bathrooms had literally feces everywhere! They were soooooo gross!!! This Park Manager needs to be fired. Staff accordingly when it's 90 degrees out on a weekend. Wave pole had garbage floating everywhere in it. Slide lines were hours - one was because they didn't have enough tubes and were repairing them on the spot. Not enough tubes anywhere really. Always have to wait in line for people getting off slides, just to get a tube, and go wait in line. Unacceptable. I'm praying my kids will forget about this place and we don't have to come back.

Decent park. Starting to show it's age on some things. Bring your own food and leave the park to eat at your car because food is very expensive. Weekday crowds aren't so bad but weekend crowds can be. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Worth one trip a summer to go, but probably not two.

I bought tickets for my wife for a special occasion so we could go. She has been wanting to go to the water park for some time now. I didn't see any calendar on the mobile website and assumed since it's still summer for another month, why would they close. Well I bought them on a Saturday to go on Wednesday and the last day of being open, apparently, was on Sunday. When I called and asked for a refund they had me write an email. I explained to them the situation and they refused the refund and said that we could use the tickets for fright night and that the dates are on the ticket and should have read them. Without paying for a ticket then how would I see the dates? Why would I go, not having kids, to go on 2 or three adult rides, especially I paid quite a bit more per ticket? Really poor customer service. I am a local and will never give them any more money.

My work had our Christmas party here at night and we got to go on the rides and everything! I was a little surprised that they had everything open and running not only at night but it was also sprinkling too.. it didn't matter though, we all had a great time and the rides were awesome and the way they had it all lit up for Christmas was really cool, it would be totally great for a family fun night!

We have a very large family, 8 children , so we bought a groupon deal, that still ended up to be 311.00$ , then we arrive and have to pay another 41.00$ in taxes, not to mention we already knew we needed to bring our own food and drink because we were told the food was outrageous. We were there until closed because I wanted to get my money's worth and still only got to go down 2 slides due to their extremely long lines.

Our Sunday trip was less than ideal. The food stands had all run out of ice by 1:30pm, and you'd wait in line for 25 minutes only to get to the front and find out that they were out of the main menu items your party wanted to order. (Signs indicating those things were sold out would have been REALLY helpful! I saw one poor teen employee get screamed at by another customer because of this problem.) the elephant ear place was out of utensils, the dippin dots stand was out of anything but large containers, and there were zero condiments to be found anywhere should you happen to find something to actually order. There were also water rides where we'd wait for you 30 min to get an inner tube, only to find that people would just jump in front of you to take them and you'd have no recourse because there were no staffers anywhere around to help monitor the queue. The amusement park side was less crowded due to the heat, but overall the whole place seemed ill-equipped to handle any large attendance.
I've been to the park on a less crowded day a few years ago and it was really enjoyable, but this visit was really horrendous. Definitely don't go on weekends during a heat wave.

Not enough employees, there were rides that wee not open. Dirty, decrepit, not well maintained. Could not find prices on food anywhere so I will post some. Water is very cold. All that said the kids had a good time on the dry side of the park and an ok time on the wet side. Wish there was a bigger selection but it is understandable here in the northwest that there is not.

Tried to go on Saturday an way too many people so decided to go on Sunday an it's not shown on their website that the park opens at 5 but the haunted houses don't open until 7 if you want to get into a haunted house I recommended you go in at 5 and sit at that haunted house and wait for it to open we took our child for her birthday and only got to experience one haunted house because you stand in line for 2 hours just to go in for a total of 3 minutes inside the Haunted House to then walk across the theme park to stand in line for another 2 hours for the eight of us that went it was a complete waste of money $300 for us all to get in $150 on dinner and we only got to Experience One haunted house because it was then closing and shutting down. Really disappointing.

Such a great park! It IS in Washington state though, the original "nanny state". Once you're within a mile of the park, local police take over every element of your life. I have no idea how Federal Way can afford such a massive army of police, or why they post several dozen at the park, but seriously there is a cop for every ten guests at Wild Waves. I was there with my wife and kids and have nothing to hide or worry about from the cops (I'm fairly caucasian looking) but seriously the police presence is massively excessive. It would be excessive even if there had been a terrorist threat and the president was visiting. Yes. That excessive.

Wild Waves a few years ago used to be fun and I used to go here every year I would have gave this 5 stars but now this place has gone down hill, my last experience here will most likely be my last. It first started off with entering Wild Waves, there was a long line about over 100 people which is understandable but the thing that got me was the failure to let people know that you have to pay for the ticket before at a totally different booth before you get into the line note that this booth was completely covered and hidden due to the long line, thankfully there was two of us and one was able to hold our spot, but things only got worse when they checked out bags and found out they do not allow any kind of food inside the park., we had to either put it back in our vehivcle or throw it all away. Another thing was the pricing here they will overcharge and charge you for everything, they will charge you for parking, overpriced lockers, food is a complete joke here with a long wait, slow workers, no where to sit and tastes no better than average. The slides have a long wait (10-30minutes) for a 1 minute long ride. The employees here are literally bums with no prior work experience they are rude they just use their whistles at everyone because they think they are so superior to everyone.

So fun

Went in on a Sunday, the lines weren't too long. Since it was hot and everyone wanted to stay in the water it was really easy to ride every dry ride without waiting. The fries are good and not over priced. That's all the good things I have to say. Now the negative. The paid parking is ridiculous. The bathrooms were disgusting. The pizza was terrible. Unsupervised children were running all over the place. I got on one ride and the safety strap was broken, I thought I was going to fly out the whole time. The park closed at 7 and they only made the announcement with a megaphone by the wave pool, so 3/4 of the park didn't know. The bar is just slightly overpriced, but there's no getting drunk and having fun throughout the park, You have to finish your drink in there and all the have is beer and slushies. The slushies only have 1.5 shots. So it'll take you all day to get drunk if you're like me. Overall not a terrible experience. But the only reason it was good is because the rides are actually fun

I ve been coming to this theme park for about 8 years and it s not that it s gotten worse in condition but it s lost the fun aspect. I say that because first off the wave pool is more of a pool than anything. The waves are very small. They also took out the faster slides and replaced them with only tube slides. The new Mountain Dew slides are fun but not like they were. I was also disappointed that very many rides were closed including the deeper pool next to the kid pool, the log ride, the rollercoaster next to the log ride and about 6 other rides. It s just weird that so many would be closed on a hot summer day :/

We had a great time. Water slides was great but a few leaks in all of them. Could use a little up keep. Most of the staff was friendly. The wave pool was great . But if your kids or grandkids need Google's they can't wear the ones that cover the nose. We was there all day and didn't do but 2/3rds of the park.

Some places wave pool very dilapidated not functioning short. One member of my party has only the use of one hand and he slipped off his raft at the bottom of slide area and his head went under the water the life guard seemed more interested in the rafts then the person submerged. Well my party member got up and asked for my help out and I did. If I had the power to do so the lifeguard would not have a job!!!. The cleanliness of the place was atrocious we saw huge clumps of wet hair on stairs leading into some pool areas absolutely disgusting bandaids just nasty. This was my first visit and I have to say if these issues aren't fixed my family and I will not be returning and I will tell my friends as well not to go.

This park was great. We went on a Monday and there were no lines for the rides. We are from Texas and Six Flags and hurricane harbor can be overwhelming, this park was much more enjoyable. You get a water park and a theme park in one without having to buy separate tickets, awesome. The staff was friendly, one particular lifeguard named Brycen I think, kindly convinced our 7 year old to try a water slide after our many failed attempts. He wanted to ride all of them after that, thank you! We did not expect the water to be warm, so the fact that is was made us very happy. I see a lot of reviews mentioning steep prices, in our experience this park is much more affordable than what we are used to and you can pack lunch and eat it in the parking lot to save on food. It was a perfect day.

Overly crowded and a rip off.

Overly crowded and a rip off.

Large dippin dots, $7 plus tax

Small bottle of Gatorade, $4 from the vending machine ($1 at a grocery store).

In conclusion, people that have more money than brains go here.

Lines are really long and a lot of the young staff had really poor attitudes. I asked one life guard if I was supposed to give her the tube or let them float off (on lazy river)- instead of responding w a simple yes or no she just looked me in my eyes and pushed the tube away. Suuuuupppper extra for no reason. A ride operator (who also looked to be about 17) was yelling at the children picking out their seats on a dry ride. It seems like an exhausting place to work but people are paying a lot to be there!! Definitely not someplace I would go more then 1x every couple years.

I got there as soon as they opened and the only word that comes to mind is, trash. Their parking lot is COVERED in garbage. So you have to PAY to park in a filthy unkept parking lot. Once it gets warm, it also smells like garbage in their lot too. Ew. Not only was there litter in the lot but all throughout their park as well.
I don t know, it just doesn t give me a good vibe to charge people as much as they do and have that much trash floating around their entire vicinity. It really makes me wonder what kind of people are ok with that. There s garbage cans throughout the vicinity, you d think they d at least have their park cleaned by opening time.... it s not that hard.

Also, their floating river was WAY over capacity. Me and a friend kept getting shoved by kids and even adults in the river to the point where tubes were piling on my friends head. The lifeguards did and said nothing about it.

Don t think I would go back or recommend to anyone. Ew ew ew!

Everything was so crowded we only did 2 rides. Weren t able to wear shoes the whole time so our feet we re burning against the asphalt. They ran out of water bottles and everything had a RIDICULOUS line. We got yelled at my other people waiting in line for keeping our raft and getting back in line even though the life guard said we were allowed to keep the raft and didn t have to give it up. The wave pool isn t the same as it used to be, it doesn t really even have waves. It rises maybe a few inches. If you go I wouldn t waist a whole day here; get there really early and only stay for an hour or two. Sad that it s not the same as before. To be honest, I don t blame the park at ALL. People (other visitors) just ruin the experience and make it miserable for everyone. The rides and slides were fine and safe enough, my only complaint being the wave pool not having waves. Overall, the park was fine, the other visitors were just plain rude.

You'd think they'd have a picnic area here, it cost a small fortune to get in. The people who are going to buy a $10 burger and a $5 soda are not going to sneak in a $8 beer. This place wouldn't be able to keep up even if they did have a picnic area even on the outside in the parking lot.

Fun park, but poorly managed. Had issues with my tour group and our bus, had to pay twice for parking. Bus drivers cant use the bathroom inside unless they buy a ticket. Also, do not buy food in the park, its over priced and bad. My cheese burger cheese had an uncooked slice of american cheese. You can take a lunch and eat it in your car!

Food, entertainment, and the lines for the shops and rides we're quick and not to crowded and pushy. People seem to be happy , enjoying your time at the park.
People talking about the rides and how much fun they were having, even strangers were talking about the last ride, and how much fun it was to be there.

Went here for fright fest this year. Waited an hour and a half for one attraction, totally not worth it. A bunch of rowdy teens and sub par attractions. Would not recommend since it only runs on weekends. If you're going for Christmas lights, I'd recommend that over fright fest. Disappointed with the $70 I spent for 2 people and then $15 for parking.

Wasn't impressed with the park.

Wasn't impressed with the park.
Couldn't get in the lazy river.
Ended in the wave water pool. Being elderly and have bad legs, I stayed closed to the water and latter, to keep hold on to, to do legs exercises and but to be out of the way of people, not to fall on me and my legs, only being yelled at, to stay away from the wall. Yet I didn't move from the wall.
They did ask me if I was going to move from the wall, but said no.
Seems like we had to get out of the water, every 30 minutes.
One time we had to get out, for lifeguard training and testing. While people being constantly yelled out, to stay out of the water and behind the yellow line.
Order a hot dog and they didn't even have any cooked. Since we already paid for it, we got a sorry taste of a hamburg.
Go get a elephant ear with ice cream and whip cream, but no ice cream.
My daughter was not happy at all, the way I was treated.
She said what I said, "We won't be back!"
Our first time and last.
$28 wasted!
People getting on other people backs and falling off on her. She a disabled veteran. She ended up limping out.
Who pays to not able to go to enjoy the lazy river and get yelled at, because you're by the wall. So, you lean on it, to keep your balance.
Pay for hot dogs and they don't have them on the grill (5 pm).
Pay for ice cream and the don't have it.
There was plenty of sea gulls around eating fries of the walk way, the whole time, because people only eat a couple and give the rest to the birds.
I guess them don't mind half cooked fries.
