Karen and Omar are great. Please go see them. Best...
Karen and Omar are great. Please go see them. Best service in downtown Atlanta. White Oak is the BEST.

Excellent staff and amazing food! We had the deviled eggs, meatballs and shared the duck. The chocolate Bundt cake was mouthwatering. Everything was delicious! The bathrooms were clean. This restaurant has huge windows and breathtaking views. We sat and relaxed for over an hour.
Love the atmosphere and craftiness of the entrees. Everything is so pretty even the fried chicken skin. That is a real southern delight. My favorite thing about this restaurant, yes even more than the excellent services, is the glass encasing. The place sits on the corner of Peachtree and from dusk to dawn this place is magical!
Good service by the bartender. Poor hospitality by the hostess. Will not be back.
The fried chicken and mac n cheese are amazing. Great atmosphere as well.
Don't go here! I've been trapped for 45 minutes just wanting to get a small bite. Tried to pay for my beer (after insisting I would not pay for the food but wanted to pay for my beer) and they held my card while the computer was down for another 10 minutes. Amazingly, my food seemed to be the only issue and the place was not full!
Food was good but service terrible still would eat there if u got time on ya hands. Ordered a Dr. Pepper and got a Root Beer.
Nice place, good food, nice place to sit out and watch people
Creative, delicious food in an elegant yet relaxed setting
I was speaking to the bartender while the hostess told my wife they didn't have enough staff for us to sit. We had our two children with us and they did not want to seat us. When she told me what the hostess said we walked out I would not spend any money in this establishment.
Been here twice. Very good both times. Highly recommend.
It is pricey, but justified. Cool, classy, laid back environment with excellent bourbon selection, outstanding staff, and very tasty dishes.
Good service. Sat at the bar, bartender attentive and accommodating to my requests. Short rib was fabulous. Felt very relaxed, not rushed. Restaurant seems very airy and spacious, lots of light. Thanks for an awesome experience!
Atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful dinner. Food was superb and service was great. Clients loved it.
A must if you are visiting downtown Atlanta. Great outdoor seating and the food was unbelievable. I had the butternut soup, shrimp bingets and lamb burger. All were absolutely first class. Service was good. Did I mention the soup??? Fantastic!
Tremendous service, incredible food, great view! We will come back every time we're in Atlanta! P.S.Get the deviled eggs!!
The regular bartenders here are fantastic. I highly recommend the Sazarac, American Amber, and chatting with Carson, Nicole, Patrice, Joe and Charmain. I always really enjoy my visits here.
Great Experience!!!! My wife and I dined at White Oak a few days ago and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very attentive to our needs and the food was amazing. We will definitely be going back!!!!
I didn't personally go to this restaurant but a service dog recipient from Service Dog Project which I am a supporter of was turned away because of her service dog. These are well trained dogs for people who have mobility problems. You can see them 24/7 on the explorer channel and the number one recipients are our veterans. The lady even spoke to the manager who said it was policy and she explained to him that this is the law, businesses have to allow service dogs. these are not dogs for comfort but allow their person to function as normally as possible. This review is my personal one and not in any way a statement from SDP. I would hope that owners would review their policy and want to welcome anyone who wanted to eat at their restaurant.
The bar here has a spectacular atmosphere, and the bartenders are knowledgeable and welcoming.
I do not recommend this restaurant.
My husband and I dined at White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails on a Friday night with a reservation at 7 PM. We arrived about 15 minutes early and checked in the hostess. She went back to check on our table and came back saying it would be a minute. My husband asked how long to see if we had time to get a drink at the bar and she replied your reservation is for 7 so probably around 7. For being the first person we saw at the restaurant she did not give a warm greeting.
We went to the bar and had three bartenders acknowledge us standing there and one tell us to give him just a minute. He never came back and we never were able to order drinks.
We were taken to our table and were greeted by a young man who took our drink order. It took twenty minutes to get our drinks and the only people we saw during that time were the attentive gentlemen refilling our water and one brought us bread that was incredibly delicious.
Our drinks arrived and the young man asked for our order. We stated we would like to order an appetizer, enjoy it, and then order dinner. He came back a few minutes later and asked for our order again or to take the menus because he did not want his manager to think he had not taken our order.
I ordered a glass of Riesling for dinner and received a Chardonnay.
We ordered. My husband had the duck and I had the NY Strip. My husband enjoyed the duck and it was cooked well. My steak was ordered medium rare and came medium well and was a lot spicier than the menu let on.
Just before dinner and once during dinner we were greeted by a woman who apparently was our actual waitress. It appeared that she was everyone s waitress and her management was overworking her. The entire place was chaotic and most of the tables around us were complaining.
Nice place for a drink. Friendly servers. The menu is a little strange so make sure to check it out ahead of time if you are thinking about eating there.
Service was great but food was terrible quality. I wish we could get a refund. The fish and fried chicken were tough. The butter cake was okay the pecan pie was not worth it. None of the food was worth the calories or the cost
Great drinks, service is a tad slow but, fantastic place on peachtree street. Atmosphere is amazing at white Oak Kitchen and bar tenders are extremely knowledgeable.
Amazing! The good, service and atmosphere were stronger of the best I've had!
I've eaten Mac n cheese at a lot of restaurants but this place has the best by far.
4 of us showed up on a Sunday night. There was no host at the front, no sign that stated we should wait to be seated, and the bar area (and surrounding tables) was not crowded at all so we sat ourselves at a high top. We waiting for over 10 minutes before our waiter came to take our orders. He told us it would be 30 minute wait before our drinks would arrive. When asked, he stated it was because we sat ourselves. When we finally received our drinks (we all ordered the hemmingway) they all tasted like it was straight up lime juice from a green plastic lime bottle you get at the grocery store. Not sure what was going on but the drink was terrible along with the service.
The food is absolutely Ah-Mazing!! Parking is kind of weird, but was validated. Good place to hold a private event.
Came here on the recommendation of some conference-goers that we were with. Food was good but felt a bit too fancy for the accommodations. We got a table but should have just sat at the bar instead, which has a different menu.
Fantasuc food amd service! What could I ask more of?
Went here for dinner with friends and family. Their food is very well done and the atmosphere is welcoming and not crowded or loud like most restaurants. I had gotten their signature burger and the quality of the meat was spectacular. Our friend had gotten the shrimp, and it is actually the full shrimp itself, which was a first that I have seen in a casual restaurant. I also enjoyed the waiters coming back to refill my water! I also would like to mention that their bathrooms weren't bad, and their nakpins were real soft. I had to mention that. When I visit Atlanta again I for sure will revisit this restaurant.
I didn't eat here, only had drinks. There was a big party of us and the wait staff was absolutely amazing, even though we didn't order food at all.
We dined during their Easter brunch. Great good. The beef brisket was glorious. The service at White Oak was impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Chopped Salad Nightmare - $18 for a quarter head of lettuce and nothing more than that; I can t make this up! We had the waiter over to address the obvious issue here and he said oh they usually make it better, let me take care of that . He brought back -no jokes- a quarter head of lettuce, nothing more than that and...no dressing. Lovely service, if you like horrible with attitude.
Very great food, nice ambience, amazing wait staff, very wide selection of local beer on draught, imaginative hand crafted cocktails, and best thing- this place does an elevated, fresh spin on traditional southern fare.
Great place. Only complaint would be the chairs are THE most uncomfortable chairs in the world.
This place pretends to serve good food. Some dishes here seem okay...the deviled egg appetizer was actually good, but everything is priced above its station, most dishes served at the table were just fair, some dishes are barely edible. My ramen dish was the worst dining experience I have had in decades. I hate that I wasted an evening going to this place.
My wife and I made reservations for what we thought was going to be a good, peaceful dinner. We were seated beside a large empty table that soon filled up with a large party. With all the greetings and standing they did I kept getting bumped and pushed in my seat. I finally got up and moved to another seat. The experience was so annoying I couldn't enjoy my meal. Prior to all the pushing and bumping we were going to try dessert but changed our minds. The place was also too loud for us to have a dinner conversation. Maybe this was just a bad time to go. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that the beignet and the octopus was really good. No complaints about the food.
This is one of my favorite lunch places in ATL. It have a great sweet tea that you get to add the syrup of sugar to.
If the Tuna Burger in on the menu, BE adventurous and try it, on of the best burgers I have had in a long time. It's nice a light, unlike a regular burger, so its great for a lunch time burger fix.
Great cornbread too.
Loved this place. Good food ambiance and cocktails
I go with my wife to this restaurant many times a year! This is my favorite spot to eat. I go there at least once a month. The food is great, the workers are courteous and the charge is affordable. I like eating in this restaurant for a rich lunch.
Great atmosphere and location, nice menu. Not as impressed with execution, though. Seems like they're often unsure what desserts they have in stock. I get that the southern dip is smoked meat but tastes like weak barbeque in a tiny French dip bun, nowhere near worth the cost for something that doesn't pair well at all with au jus as served. Not impressed. The beignets were... Not beignets. Fried chicken, butcher board, trout equally "meh". Lambwich looked awesome but I haven't tried it yet.
A cool spot in downtown Atlanta. Lunch was tasty... only downside was no place to park
Food and drinks were good, but the service was substandard. After our meal we waited 45 minutes for the check. Even waiting by the register and calling the manager didn't work for another 15 minutes. People are willing to wait for good food, but you should NEVER make people wait to pay.
The food and drinks are always great, the staff is always friendly. But over labor day weekend they ran out of several things and the kitchen was backed up.
An absolutely amazing experience! The ambiance alone makes you want to stay.. but the drink/cocktail selection and the menu... WOW! Seriously do yourself a favor and visit!
Great experience. Unique delicious food and great service
This place is an absolute gem. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, great selection of craft beers and specialty bourbons. The food was outstanding! I had fried chicken with greens and split a side of mac and cheese with my husband. The chicken was cooked perfectly and just about melted in my mouth. The geens a bit sweeter/tart than I like but still a nice compliment to the chicken. The mac and cheese was to die for! It was the best tasting creamy cheese I have ever had. It wasn't too think, a very nice creamy consistency, superb taste! I would visit Atlanta just for this food.
While the food was outstanding... the length of wait almost a full hour was not considering only soup & sandwich being ordered. Having the Big South tournament here annually... a large event prior planning ??
The place is clean and neat, the food is delicious and the prices are fair!
Great place but there bartender/mixologist is definitely the cherry, she makes a mean drink, haven't found anyone else in Atlanta that can top it. I had the scallops, the hash brown cake was a bit too seasoned ..but that's the worst thing I have to say about this place. Love it. Thank you for the amazing service always.
The food is delicious! The octopus is Yummy with a touch of spice yummmm.
They also have a good selection of wines. The view and place is super nice!
Excellent food & even better service! If you're looking for a nice meal with a lovely atmosphere and indulgent service, eat here!
The bacon braised collards were phenomenal. I found myself rocking back and forth from excitement from each new bite.
Thank you for the quick and great service.
Cool ambiance. Great food. I enjoyed my Lamb Burger and would order again. Server was fun, energetic, and interacted with our party of 7. No complaints.
Great food! Great atmosphere and the service was awesome! Highly recommend!
Was not impressed with the food at a corporate dinner here, but found myself here again for dinner a couple of days later and the food was amazing! Upgrading to 5 stars.
Friend chicken is great. Overall food is overpriced
The food was great and service was outstanding. We sat at the bar and had Brian as our bartender, he was so genuine and kind! All of the food was fresh and delicious! Brian is an asset to this business!
Food was tremendously filling for the serving size, so it was worth the price! Drinks were fairly expensive, but very delicious. Maybe a holiday/special celebration place, rather than an everyday place. Service took a while to arrive, but I thought the quality of the food and drinks were also worth the wait.
Open air freshness with delicious food and great service!
Poor service - Waited for over an hour for a table in the bar area after making a reservation a month in advance.
Great food and friendly waitstaff. I went back a second time.
Food is amazing. Drinks are spectacular. Staff are good too.
Got invited out to a late dinner reservation for White Oak and I'm so glad we did! 1st time at this establishment although I've seen it many times. Beautiful decor, very professional knowledgeable yet personable staff. Prompt courteous service, delicious food with generous portions. Can't wait until patio season because it looked like they may have a nice cute setup. Looking forward to returning!
great whiskey and bourbon selection the advertisers we had were really good I would recommend the octopus. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious
I was in Atlanta for a conference and this was right around the corner from my hotel. My co-workers and I stopped in for a late dinner and drinks. The atmosphere was really fun! The music kept the mood up, the service was great, and the food was EXCELLENT! I would recommend the butcher's block and the deviled eggs. My co-workers had the fried chicken which I can report is "legit." Really cool spot, check it out!
I don't often write reviews but I ate at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails the other night and was thoroughly expressed. Not only was my meal delicious but the service was truly exceptional. My server Bernarda was the best server that I've experienced in ages and I eat out almost daily. He anticipated our every need and was truly personable and efficient. Management was equally professional and involved. White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails is not to be missed.
Best Chicken and waffles in town. Best customer service too.
Love the chicken chopped salad and Ms Ann Snack Burger
Food was delicious....a bit pricey though...especially the wines
The food was really good. Southern food with unexpected but great twists. I had the fried chicken, deviled eggs and gooey butter cake. All were recommended by the server and delicious! I like the decor and the vibe too..
