Highly recommend. When we got there they told us another party who would be riding with us had an issue and would be about 15 min. behind. Not a prob on our end. We got there really early since we'd allowed for the roads having snow and ice, and they turned out to not be bad at all. They recommended a place in town for us to eat that was really good. When we returned from lunch we found out the other couple who'd had car/hotel issues decided to reschedule for the next day. I know just my wife and I riding wasn't a money maker for them, but they were champs and about it. One bit of advice: If you're going with 2 riders and in doubt about whether to ride (1) double or (2) singles, ride as singles if at all possible. We rode double the first hour but then they were kind enough to let my wife drive one of the guides rides for about 15 min... and she was doing great on it. The machines also handle much differently with two riders on a single machine. Can definitely be done, but just if in doubt, try letting each adult or capable rider have their own machine. We look forward to returning.

The 2 day mild to wild tour was a great experience for me as an absolute beginner. We had a very detailled instruction, but got on the sleds just 10 minutes later, as they give you the more specific info on tour. Great way to do it! The guides devide the people into small groups of similar interests and abilities, so everybody gets what he is up to. They made a good choice here. On the first day you will quickly learn the basics on the 600cc ski-doos. We even had some light backcountry powder runs on the end of the first day... On the second day you will feel very confident on the sled already, so you can give the 900cc ski-doo a good go in the powder all day long. Pretty exhausting ;)
On site BBQ was super relaxed and great, and all the staff is very motivated and friendly! The equipment is in top condition too, very new and perfectly maintained ski-doos. You even get an avalanche beacon for your safety. I was very impressed...
All in all a great experience that will make me do more skimobiling in the future for sure!
This place is super fun. The Gear is great. The views are breathtaking. The guide are a crazy bunch of awesome people. Everything runs smooth and you feel welcome. A MUST!!
I ve traveled around the world, I ve seen and done many excursions and enjoyed many of them. This hands down was my favorite excursion ever. The staff was amazing, knowledgeable and so helpful. They got you covered if you forget anything. The ski mobiles were newer, they cooked us lunch which at this point has been one of our better meals. We did a full day tour and was so worth every penny! I will do this again, I will come back. My kids ages 22, 15, 12 all said it was the best day of there lives. Thank you for making our trip to Canada from the states so special and magical day!
Literally just finished their snowmobile tour. Hands down one of the best experiences in my whole life. May seem pretty expensive but it was worth every penny IMO. They also provide free bbq lunch on the top of the mountain.
What an amazing experience! The nature trails into the forest and views of the mountains in the valley area absolutley stunning and unlike anything you see from the town! Brad was an excellent host and equipped us fully with warm and comfortable gear. The machines were in excellent condition and very easy to use. We are all new to the sport and we felt totally comfortable operating the machines. He gave us very thorough instruction and stopped regularly to assess how we were doing and address and concerns we may have had. We joined another guide, Dawn, who gave us an amazing tour of the mountain trails and stopped to take photos for us, and gave us a little break with hot chocolate half way and some bird watching. At the end, everyone gathered at the office for complimentary beverages and we even spotted some wild deer feeding on the grounds!
All in all, White N Wild was a beautiful tour and Brad and Dawn were welcoming and very competent guides. The experience is worth every penny and exceeded my expectations.
The staff and the tour are excellent! I took the 5 hour which included lunch, the only thing I wish had been better was the GoPro, it records the trail, so if you are behind someone that s really all you re seeing in the video, I wish the GoPro pointed up more so that it would show the spectacular scenery. I ve also had difficulty editing it because I do not own a GoPro and with out the actual equipment the download will not allow me to use it.
White N Wild Snowmobile Tours is the real deal! A uniquely breathtaking once in a lifetime experience you will not soon forget. Our group decided to do the all day 5 hour tour - AMAZING views of the mountains, forest, wildlife - The complete package! The guides were fun and upbeat. Make sure you turn the heated handlebars to a comfortable temperature setting. Wear the gear they offer - it is superior to most anything our group brought! They have great boots, overalls, gloves and goggles. Such a fun experience - we will return next time we visit the area. Thanks to all the great folks we met there!
My wife and I booked the full day tour and it was a very pleasant experience. Pickup service from the hotel, good quality gear and everything you needed to enjoy the day. Excellent BBQ lunch with as much as one could get. Very friendly and encourging staff. Would highly recommend for anyone considering some snowmobile experience without any of the hassle.
Highly recommend White n Wild. Friendly and professional team, provide everything you need and its all included in the cost, even the delicious BBQ lunch! Great for everyone as they let you go at your own pace so the speed demons go at the front and those who want to go a bit slower and take in the views can go at the back. My guides Curtis and Dawn were fantastic and I loved every minute of it! Would definitely do it again.
The tour was really great. Super organized and really fun. If there were 10 stars, I would award them. Did the tour with 13 people and everyone was thrilled.
Don t look anywhere else. This is the place to visit. Great service, great tour and they have your safety as priority. The tour was awesome and a lot of fun. The BBQ lunch was fantastic. All the gear is provided from head to toe. They even pick you up and drop you off at no extra cost. Would definitely be coming back next time we visit. Thanks again Bastiaan for going the extra mile.
Our guide Christie made the trip fun and informative. Well marked trails, complete with warning signs about upcoming hairpin turns, made for an easy day of snowmobiling. Sleds were well maintained, and any items needed by the riders (gloves, helmets..etc) were available for free.
Hands down the BEST part of my trip to banff!! I considered doing a short tour and changed my mind. Ended up booking the full day tour and couldn't have had a better time. The shuttle was convenient, they provided the necessary gear, and the tour guide was as friendly and knowledgeable as can be. I will never forget this experience for the rest of my life!
My first snowmobile experience on February 13th. Convenient pickup and drop off from lake Louise, on time and knowledgeable guide through to golden. Overcast day but plenty of scenic views! The drive was approx 40 mins and we signed waivers. when we arrived were greeted by very friendly staff; After suiting up in our gear (which they can provide) we did a run through of the snowmobile functions and safety. Justin was our guide and was super attentive and fun, we stopped at multiple checkpoints to take photos. I decided part way I wanted to be a passenger with my boyfriend and they were more than understanding and accommodating. We had a fun group and not to mention Lunch was fantastic!!! Dawn was so hospitable and I Even had the experience of a grey jay landing right on my hand, they just come right up to you. When we got back they had cold beer waiting for us! Bonus!! There are also deer on the property so lots of opportunity for out of town guests to see wildlife. Overall I highly recommend an excursion with white n wild. Thank you for being so accommodating and welcoming; will definitely be recommending to everyone Interested in a beginner to intermediate snowmobile experience! will be back in the summer for rafting!
We visited from Texas in January for our Wedding Anniversary. We've never been on a Snowmobile in our lives. We were worried at first but once we were there the experience is something we'll never forget. We had no issues driving and the tour guide was top notch. The lunch on the mountain was cooked on a grill right there and was excellent. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed this!
White N' Wild came highly recommended to me and after having been on a tour with them I can only enforce that recommendation! I took my Dad who was visiting from England and we went on the full day tour. We were picked up in Canmore, given all the gear we needed, given full instruction on how to drive the snowmobiles and took off into the mountains! Half way through I switched to riding with Curtis, who was an incredible guide! We broke some new trails through the fresh snow, went along some beautifully scenic trails, picked up some speed and he pointed out all the animal tracks. We had an amazing day and will definitely be back again! Huge thanks to Curtis and the whole team at White N' Wild for an incredible experience!
We just did a full day tour with White N Wild. It was great great from beginning to end. We only planned to do a half day but couldn't resist staying longer. The owner was on site and greeted us. Very nice fellow. You can tell by the way this outfit is organized and run that it's a quality company. ALL the equipment is provided (clean and good quality), right down to socks if you need them. They make absolute sure that you will be comfortable out in the weather. The guides Bastion and Dawn were outstanding! Dawn provided a great lunch at 6,500 feet in winter wonderland - Hot soup, all different types of burgers and smokies and even smores for dessert and a crackling fire to stay warm. Bastion was a great guide - safety first but lots of fun and full of knowledge. Thank you for a wonderful day folks.
Amazing experience. Go to the front if you are a speed demon but stay in the back if you want to take short pauses for pics (they only stop three times or so for pictures). Eat well because it's pretty exhausting in the second half. Stunning views
Awesome tour! We had a lot of fun today on a full day snow mobile tour. Our guides AJ and Justin were very friendly and professional. The BBQ lunch was delicious.
AMAZING! This was possibly the most fun I have had while in Canada. The BBQ Lunch was delish, the scenery was brilliant, guides were fun and informative and the whole thing was just awesome. 10/10 loved it!
We have been on a few trips and every time we have had a blast. patient attentive skilled guides, problem free sleds, amazing views and you can go back for seconds (or thirds) at lunch. Love this place.
I've repeatedly booked snowmobile rides with White N Wild to take out friends and family and show them the surroundings of the town I live in. It's always a fun experience, the BBQ lunch is superb, and snowmobiling is just such a great way to get out in the mountains. Best of all, the tour company will bundle you all up in snowmobile gear, so my visitors from overseas didn't have to worry about packing bulky snow suits into their luggage. All is provided with White N Wild. If you want to be well taken care of, definitely book with these guys!
Our day was absolutely fantastic form pickup with our amazing host and guide Bastian until we were dropped back in Banff that afternoon. The machines were super smooth. Our whole family had their own Snowmobiles and Virginia, my wife said she had never had such a fun and exciting day as our day at White N Wild. Dawn's BBQ was also a highlight in the peaceful forest at the trappers lodge. The beautiful squirrels and birds visited us and it was a highlight. With thick fresh snow on our trip we made fresh tracks all day. Thank you Bastian and Dawn!!
My 14 year old son and I had a fantastic time sharing a snow mobile on one of their 4hr tours whilst visiting from Australia. The shuttle service, boots, tracking device, clothes and equipment were top notch, the BBQ lunch in the snow was beautiful and plentiful, the staff made everyone feel like they were an old mate, and the spectacular scenery, massive fun and exhilaration of the snow mobiles were awesome. These are easy machines to ride and all seemed to be the latest models. There's more than enough room for two people to share and my son (a big 14 year old) really enjoyed being the pillion. The little touches that White and Wild does like providing a surprise complementary beer or soft drink at the end of the tour really makes the difference. Would totally recommend this fantastic day out to anyone. Cheers Tony. Sydney.
Excellent day of snowmobiling. For sure book the full day adventure. Lots of good quality time on the snowmobile. Nice groomed tracks up the mountain, plenty of spots to open it up. Great break for lunch with really good food. Great staff/guides who provided everything you might need. My daughter(17) and I thoroughly enjoyed this day off from skiing and would do it again in a heartbeat.
First time riding a snow mobile and this place made it amazing. Although the price might seem a bit expensive..it's worth it. 4-5 hours of riding with an experienced guide who will make sure you feel comfortable and safe. You can go fast or as slow as you wantz no pressure. They also provide free neck warmies, goggles, helmets, snow suit, free for rental as of March 2018! Bbq is hamburgers and hot dogs with grilled onions and cheese - it tastes better than it sounds
To the gang at White and Wild - thank you for a lifetime of memories. We spent a full day snowmobiling with Lars. He was awesome. Our family of 4 couldn t have had a better day.
Lars was super fun, knowledgeable and a great guy to spend a day with in the mountains.
Curtis picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. We got to know him well during the drive and he was a funny and great guy as well. These guys couldn t have made the day any better.
The BBQ lunch at 7,000 feet was a memory on its own. Thanks Dawn for doing the cooking. I d do this exact excursion again in a heartbeat. Thank you everyone at White and Wild!
White and Wild staff were exceptional. The adventure was fantastic. The combination of high quality equipment, extensive safety protocols, and the experience of the guides made us, as first time snowmobiles, feel safe and yet so enjoyable. Bring your appetite for the fantastic lunch.
I could not speak highly enough of White n Wild snowmobile Tours. We did the full day tour in a group of 5 and we all had a fantastic day! None of us had any snowmobiling experience, Our guide Kris was fantastic at explaining how to ride and we all had the hang of it in no time. Great value with pick up and drop off from Banff, Gear hire, snowmobiling, hot chocolate, lunch and a beer at the end of the day! Defiantly one of our trip highlights. I would recommend these guys to anyone considering snowmobiling tours!
We had an AMAZING time at White n Wild! Such a professional company from start to finish. We brought our own gear but they provide everything for you, all the kit is clean and well maintained, and they were kind enough to advise me to use their boots so that mine would be warm and dry when I got back. Our guide was Donnie and she went above and beyond to make sure the whole group had a great time as well as being professional and safety conscious the whole time. We had hot chocolate and cookies at the top - Doris ginger nuts are to die for! And a beer when we got back, all complimentary. All and all it was a fantastic day. Thanks guys! We'll definitely be back again.
Awesome day riding on the mountains. Curtis & Dave were awesome. Getting hot tomato soup and burgers in the middle of the ride was fantastic. Thank you Dawn!!!
Had a wonderful experience on the skidoos last week, thanks to the team at White n Wild. Unfortunately in the first twenty minutes I found I really wasn't enjoying the experience as a driver (because I'm a total scaredy cat) but the team checked in on me and let me ride with the awesome guide, Curtis, allowing me to enjoy the day in a way I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. Then on the return journey I felt brave enough to take control of my own skidoo again and really went for it! So much fun had by all and well worth the money.
We had an awesome time! All the guides were friendly and funny and made us first-timers feel super comfortable. The views from the top are great, and the snowmobiles were so much fun
From Atlanta, Ga. had a fabulous time. Great trail, quality equipment, well maintained. Gorgeous scenery. Did the half day, worth every penny. Wife and I each got our won machine so we both felt comfortable. They have all the equipment you need, I would definitely go again.
A great half day adventure. The equipment was well maintained and there was extra layers, boots, goggles, and snowsuits for those people who dont have any with them. Our guides were polite and a great time. They thoroughly explained how to ride and the safety procedures. The trails were well marked and well maintained. Absolutely beautiful views once we reached the top of our climb.
I've been on 2 tours now with White N' Wild and I wouldn't hesitate to book a third! They have a very friendly team who continues to put on a memorable experience for all guests. Guides are well trained and ensure safety is a priority. Thanks heaps guys!
Had an awesome time today at White N Wild in Golden BC! Tour was on time for pick up, and our guide Curtis took good care of us all day. Awesome time on the sleds, was amazed at how much ride time you get. This is extremely good value for the cost. Cant say enough about the fun we had!! Would recommend this to anyone who wants to try sledding for the first time like i did today. Exceeded all my expectations! Will do h8s again for sure.
We had a group of 12 folks on a trip to Banff and decided to go snowmobiling with White N Wild. They were incredibly fantastic and it was an unbelievable experience. The gear was top notch. The guides were fantastic and tailored the experience to the group. The views and scenery was incredible. The trails were awesome (with some fun challenges as well!). And it was all a great value and worth it. Highly recommended for anyone that wants to try out snowmobiling.
Should rename to White N Wild N Wonderful! What a great crew, excellent services, transportation and driving/riding instruction. Funny, entertaining, safe! Extra kudos to Dawn for her diner! Absolutely recommend for a fantastic day's adventure.
Great experience. Repeat customer. The guide (Christy) was excellent. We hade a small group of 4 and the half day ride was just perfect. The snowmobiles are almost new (heated handles) and are easy to manage. The views are wonderful.
great experience for beginners and those just looking to get outside in the winter. Christy was a great guide and all the food and drink was delicious.
What a great experience! I did the full day tour and it was a total blast. Everyone who works there clearly loves what they do and make every minute so fun. The lunch served was way more than I expected and just so good! I have already recommended it to so many friends, as it was well worth the cost.
The tour was super fun! Our guide Curtis was super fun and organised our group so the fastest could lead and go their own speed which was awesome! He was safe though and made himself clear wkrh instructions he wanted us to follow. Great day! Would recommend!
White N Wild gave us an awesome day!! We were provided with all the equipment we needed: snowsuits, boots, gloves, helmet, goggles and even an extra sweater layer for me to make sure I stayed warm. The sleds were new and in great condition. The hospitality of all the guides was wonderful. I have never sledded before but all their instructions were clear and I had no problem on my own sled. The trails were very well groomed and marked but we still had open areas to bomb around in. Safety was a top priority and all the guides were available for assistance and ensured we were always safe. Lunch was awesome! It was so cool to stop at the old cabin and have a BBQ lunch along with a marshmallow roast to make some smores. I highly recommend this outfit and will definitely be back for some more fun.
We booked our trip through our hotel. And we couldn t have been happier with the guided trip we went on! The views were amazing, our guide was knowledgeable and ended up taking us off trail (it was a trail before the MAJOR snow) which we begged for! We all got stuck and had a ball! If we handn t gone off trail I d have called it a bit of a bore as we ve always taken sleds off on our own with no guide. The owners are awesome and helpful. The lunch was way unexpected and pretty good. S mores and all!!! It gives you the chance to meet the people in your group. They have all the gear you need, so don t let that stop you from booking. Call and talk to them. The shuttle arrived on time and all went smooth! Machines are new. Do it, you won t regret it!
We did the full day snowmobile tour and it was the absolute best activity of our 4 week Canadian holiday. Our teenage kids 16 & 18 yrs are still talking about it. The snowmobiles were easy enough to learn and the scenery through the tracks and on the way back down was breathtaking. Lunch was also great when we stopped at Trappers Lodge, plenty of food and the company were happy to cater for my vegetarian daughter. Lars was an absolute legend of a guide; he was patient, enthusiastic, fun, and was super keen for us to have a great day out on the snowmobiles and that we did! I just wished it was longer, the 4 hours went way too quick. Our only regret is we genuinley forgot to give Lars a well deserved tip. Brad & Angela Australia
Fantastic day out in the beautiful Rockies. Thanks to Justin our Kiwi guide and Bastian. Both supremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. The kit is excellent and the machines are perfectly adequate. The mountain BBQ was a real treat. Thanks guys. Trevor and Matt Watson. UK (Not far from Crundale).
My girlfriend and I booked a full day snowmobiling tour and it was the highlight of our holiday trip to the Rockies. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel until the moment we were dropped off we had an absolute blast. Upon arrival, we were given all the necessary gear free of charge (snowmobile suits, gloves, goggles, etc.), we were given a safety brief regardless of our level of expertise driving snowmobiles (it was the first time for most of us) and we were separated into groups of 6 drivers per guide. During the first 20-30 minutes we also had a guide driving in the back to make sure everyone was okay and to help with any tip overs, but after that we all felt pretty comfortable driving at a faster pace and got to explore alternative trails as well. Our guide was very nice and made several stops to make sure everyone was fine and to give instructions on how to drive through the next section of the trail, we also stopped for hot chocolate and cookies and to take pictures before having bbq at 7,000 ft. My girlfriend and I both drove a standard snowmobile instead of opting for an upgrade, and maybe this is the reason why at times we struggled to keep up with the rest of our group (we were the last two). At some point during our descent my girlfriend tipped over a deep snow bank and we had to wait for our guide to come look for us and help her get back on track. However, soon after reuniting with our group and continuing our descent, we got so far behind the rest of our group that we couldn t see them anymore and eventually reached a point in the trail where we had to choose to either go up a path to an alternative trail or follow the arrows to the standard trail. We had a 50/50 chance of going in the wrong way (our guide had told everyone in our group that if we hadn t seen anyone for a long time we were most likely lost and that he would come find us) but luckily after about ten minutes driving alone we got reunited with our group which had stopped and waited for us to receive instructions on one of the last sections of the trail. Overall this is a once in a lifetime experience and well worth your money, my girlfriend and I would love to come back. The staff is very nice and friendly, the guides are outstanding, the food is delicious and the views are breathtaking. However, maybe a second guide could drive in the back of the group during the descent or drivers could have a way of communicating with their guides such as walkie talkies to help people feel more comfortable and save time in case of tip overs or any other issues. Also, another way to make this tour even more memorable could be having the option to purchase one or two professional pictures of oneself while in action to reminisce the experience.
It's a sight seeing tour that happens to be on snowmobiles. The name should be 'white N slow' as the fastest you will go 20 kph. If you have never seen a snowmobile, you will probably enjoy it.
Having done lots of adventure activities all around the world, this was one of the best value, fun filled days we have had. Picked up directly from the hotel at Banff right on time, provided with all the snow gear we required at no further cost. The Snowmobiles were outstanding, well cared for and serviced. My husband and I shared one snowmobile and it coped with power to spare. The trails were absolutely magical. With light snow falling we would our way well up the mountain to the tree line. For lunch we had a magnificent BBQ at the top. All up we were 5 hours on the snowmobile. Worth every dollar. Delivered us back to the door of the hotel. We paid an additional $40 to use their go pro on my helmet. We keep the SD drive with all the memories. If you are in Banff and have a day to spare....make sure this is in your itinerary. To marks guys.
Had an amazing time snowmobiling on the trails by the base area. The lunch was awesome and the food was plentiful. We had a big enough group for 2 guides and both were great. Would definitely recommend going with these guys.
I had so much fun snowmobiling with White N Wild! Curtis was our shuttle drive and guide. He was very professional and took extra care to ensure we were comfortable on the shuttle. During our tour, I could tell safety was a top priority for him which enabled me to relax and really enjoy the tour. We were provided with delicious snacks and lunch and all of the staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend this tour!
Went to full day snowmobile ride in a group of 10 people. Everything was right, shuttle to and from the trails, clothing and equipment fit, barbecue with s mores lunch and of course the snowmobile ride. The snowmobiles look brand new, very powerful, but really easy to handle. The White and Wild crew was awesome, from giving tips and advices to making sure everyone was safe to ride. Bastian was our guide, very professional, experienced, and very attentious guide. We had a lot of fun on the trails, totally recommend.
We had the time of our life and memories of a lifetime. From the pickup and drive up to the mountain was spectacular and the service was unbelievable. Curtis was fun trusting and reliable. The staff pretty much all had over 10 to 20 years of experience. My favorite was the BBQ lunch on top of the mountain at 8000 feet!! Again, this company is top notch 5 star they know what they are doing and felt super safe the whole time. I all the equipment snowmobiles were brand new. It as -20 when we went and they took extra care of us and had all kinds of gear to warm us up and keep us warm. Again, HIGHLY recommend this company WHITE n' WILD!
Loved this experience! Would highly recommend it! Great sights, thrilling, lunch, hot chocolate, smores awesome. Best of all, the staff is super friendly! Especially our guide, Christie, and our shuttle driver, Curtis! Thank you for a great adventure!
A world class experience! Got away from the city to celebrate my Dad's 60th with my family. It was the perfect experience. We were treated exceptionally well by all the staff and our guide AJ. From getting picked up in Canmore by bus to riding the well signed trail to the great gear available to us. We honestly had such a good time we are already planning on returning soon! Thanks
great day to take a break from skiing, my groups have always felt safe and had a ton of fun each time -even on the bigger machines. Lunch is amazing as is the staff.
Fantastic day snowmobiling up the mountains around Golden. Very competent and personable instructors who led us on the ride. Awesome views and the barbecue and hot drinks at the halfway point were a welcome addition after hours in the cold. Machines were in excellent condition and easy to drive. Loved the toes and hands warming rails on the bikes.
great team running this place, the owner should be proud. right from the pick-up at our resort in Banff to drop off these people we accommodating and amazing. we had one rider go off trail, snowmobile rolled down into tree, they did everything possible to make sure rider didn't have to pay for repairs. I thought that was very decent of them. very friendly people that appreciate your business. we will be back. Thank you
