The rooms were quite decent and the hot tub was an added plus after a good day on the mountain. The biggest asset of here is the fact that you can ski in and out on kicking horse(one of my favourite mountains).

My partner had a mishap on the mountain biking park and the staff took excellent care of him. They went above and beyond - calling to give me updates, helping us keep calm (despite the situation) by keeping the conversation lighthearted, shuttling me down to the main building to retrieve his car, even helping me back out of the stall he was in. I want to thank Elena (Edit: Alaina!) and all the other staff on September 2nd, 2020 on the hill who helped us.

When we're healthy and back at 100%, we'll come visit again - maybe for some snowboarding!

Awesome slopes, easy to access. The runs are very long, and you'll get a full run in every time. Chairlift takes a while, but the trade off is amazing slopes that last enough to make it worth.

Stayed at Glacier Lodge which was at the base of the Gondola. It was a standard suite that you'd expect at any resort. The hot tub was waaaay too small though. You could fit 8-10 people at best. Aside from that, Peaks Grill was awesome. Good food, great service. Line ups for the Gondola were a bit ridiculous but there was an event on the mountain that day. The snow and terrain were fantastic. I'd definitely return.

$116 lift ticket for 4 runs the whole day, 1hr wait in the single line, 2 sides of the mountain closed off, people cutting in line constantly and not a single staff member to oversee this mess. Complained to the ticket scanner and he just laughed. 6 cars stuck in the car park blocking others exiting and no one from Kicking Horse to help. Just took the money and laughed to the bank. We ended up towing people out to help them. I ve been fortunate enough in life to travel to over 30 ski resorts and this is by far the most poorly run mountain out of all of them. After today we decided to cut our time short and not give these clowns another day of our money and left for Revelstoke. This place is NOT worth the detour. Best leave it off your list of places to visit

Absolutely beautiful. We stayed a week at a the Black Wolf luxury chateaux, a stunning multi-level home with a fully equipped kitchen, a relaxing hot tub under the stars, an indoor sauna and gorgeous views to boast. This home was well-conceived and provides extremely comfortable living and sleeping arrangements. A perfect holiday home to fall in love with!

Lift attendants and general staff on this hill are some of the best, and after spending 6 or so seasons skiing here I can confidently say it's among the greatest and most challenging in the region.

We did via ferratta, saw boo, and hiked T2. All a fantastic experience and staff was crazy nice and friendly everywhere we encountered them. Our guide Jackie on the ferratta was great. We we're staying in Golden but popped up here two days for some adventure.

Beautiful place to stay. They even have a grizzly bear refuge on sight. Everything is new and nice. Wish directions around the place were a little better, but it had very helpful staff. Great place to stay.

Loved visiting Kicking Horse during a winter vacation! Not a skier, but it was amazing to be able to ride the gondola to the top of the mountain for spectacular views. The Eagles Eye Restaurant offered delicious food and great views from the warmth of indoors.

Love this mountain and resort. Lots to do mostly for the advanced athlete. Minimal selection of beginner. Ski hill terrain is amazing. Some of the best slack country around. Mountain bike trails are a blast and enough to make you wish you wore full pads.

Fun resort, knarly terrain and always a good time!

I would like to see another option if/when the gondola isn t working for getting somewhere other than Catamount... and yes they do have pioneer but that chair is beyond TREACHEROUS, in my opinion. I refuse to get on that chair. Period.

Stopped by on my way through the area, the resort is beautiful, what a nice place to be. The resort was fully in summer mode and we were only there for a bite to eat and a casual look around. The road up to the resort should be a time trial course, it was glorious, the main lodge has a couple restaurants to chose form, picked the more loungey sit down place, food was... pretty good for standard pub fair, service was on the slower inattentive side. This is the first N Murray owned asset that gets less than 5 star to, but it is OK.

The resort has tons of terrain, and the multiple bowls in which to ski or ride offer an amazing panoramic skiing or snowboarding experience. There are also numerous shops, bars, restaurants, and lodging at the base with friendly and welcoming staff where you can relax at the end of a long grind on the mountain.
