What an absolutely fantastic experience! Second time we have been here because it is so good. From the pick up at the hotel to the beer at the end, it is something you should plan to include in a visit to Canada. Loved the hot chocolate and cookies and the BBQ - loved the challenges our brilliant guide Bastian took us on through the woods. It is an experience you will never forget!

It was such a great day!
The guides war really friendly and took care, that you have fun but are safe as well. We made a break and got cookies and hot chocolate and with the big BBQ for lunch they also had S'Mores.
They took extra clothes, like socks and gloves, even hand warmes up the mountains, in case the guest underestimate the temperatue.
It was a great experience and I was really sad when it was over!

Honestly, these guys are just awesome. Very fun machines, great terrain, open to making sure you get the experience you want. Went for my bachelor party, and we had a great time. Highly recommend!!

We spent an exhilarating day with the fabulous team at White N Wild Snowmobile Tours. It was the first time snowmobiling for all of us, and the guides instantly put us at ease. Although we've done some skiing and other winter activities in Northern California, we're definitely not snow bunnies and didn't have the proper gear. Doris provided us with snowsuits, gloves, and boots to keep us warm. There were about eight people in our group of varying levels of experience. One was a backcountry guide who had just finished his avalanche training. (My husband admitted he was lying when he assured me beforehand, "It will be other beginners like us, mostly families and old people.") Even though snowmobiling combines three things I don't particularly like: cold, speed, and driving, I kind of loved it.

The rundown: After everyone was outfitted, Brad explained how to operate the vehicles, how high we'd be climbing (7,000 feet), and what to avoid (flying over the side of the mountain on a tight curve was highly discouraged). Then off we went up the mountain. I stayed in back because I didn't want to hold anyone up with my glacial progress, but the kind folks at White n Wild (I'm talking to you, Nat), reassured me that my caution was nothing to be ashamed of. We made several stops on the way up the mountain. Each time we were entering a new challenge in the terrain, we paused and Curtis gave us a heads-up. At one point, Lars kindly got ahead of me to lead me up a steeper, curvier part of the trail. At the top, Dawn cooked us a terrific hot-dog-and-hamburger lunch, and we roasted marshmallows over the fire for s'mores.

Although our 12-year-old son had decided to ride on the back of his dad's snowmobile, after a while he was eager to drive. Halfway down the mountain on our return ride, Dawn had him hop on her snowmobile, and he got to drive for a while. He loved it and declared it the best part of our Canada trip. It's a testament to the professionalism of the guides that my husband and I felt perfectly comfortable having our son drive around those tight downhill curves. We knew he was in good hands with Dawn. (I should mention that he's a cautious, mature kid and was about to turn 13. For anyone who is doing the tour with kids under 14 who don't have prior snowmobile experience, I recommend having them ride with a parent or guide first to get a feel for it before driving).

Doris was great at communicating with us prior to our scheduled tour. She was flexible and helpful. The whole guide team--Nat, Dawn, Lars, and Curtis (I may be missing a name or two--I blame it on the sheer terror I was feeling during the introductions)--was fun, kind, highly experienced, informative, and professional. If you're staying in Banff and want to snowmobile, I highly recommend White N Wild!

Took my hubby for a surprise anniversary snowmobile trip! Our guide was pretty good! A little disappointed he left us a couple times to do stuff with other group people when it was supposed to be a 1-on-1 tour. If you have a go pro, take your own! They charge you $40 to rent one and they die in 10-15 minutes! Once in a lifetime trip and we have next to nothing for video.

3 of us guys went up and had a great time. Nice brand new machines, bbq lunch and a
knowledgable guide that let us go as hard as we wanted. We will definitely be back for more next winter and be recommending the tour to anyone.
