We had to wait two weeks for an appointment with a technician who came to see our dishwasher. We stayed at home all day because we didn't know in advance what time the technician would arrive. In the end, nobody came by and they did not let us know. This is a clear sign of extremely unprofessional behavior. Update: The technician has informed Whirlpool that he has ringed several times and has contacted us several times over the telephone. This is an outright lie. We had to make a new appointment, again a week later. The technician came by at 7:30 in the morning and was fairly unfriendly. He was convinced that we had a problem with the washing machine, although we made it clear several times via e-mail that the problem occurred at the level of the dishwasher. So poor internal communication. He quickly looked at the device and came to the conclusion that parts must be replaced. Ordering these parts would supposedly take at least 5 days. At Siemens this takes 1 day. We therefore only have a new appointment 2 weeks later. In total we are therefore without a dishwasher for 5 weeks and then we are not even sure that the repair will take place.

Delighted with our fridge, just that the water collection tray has overflowed twice and I hope that will not happen again! The technician who was punctual and polite each time could not find the why .... We will see the future! Purchase in 2018 with a 5-year warranty in order to be quiet so I remain attentive to the evolution of this problem.

This is about an induction cooker. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired, very unfriendly people! Call 1st time for an explanation of an error code. Does the gentleman on the phone start explaining that this is not their job and that they can only make arrangements for the technician and the rest cannot do anything. Looking up a simple error code is not even possible with them, because there is no technical service that can be called for more explanation. Also looking up on the basis of a serial number whether the warranty is still valid is not possible. When we call a second time to make an appointment, they are unfriendly and immediately ask for the zip code and surname without asking for the address. Ask me why they don't just start with the name and address. They also ask for the purchase date. I kindly explain that we don't know this since it belonged to a showroom model of a kitchen. The gentleman starts to swear at me and that he doesn't have to know all that and that they don't care and they are only interested in the date of purchase. I have only given the date when we have purchased the full kitchen. The only plus point is that they can immediately come by tomorrow to carry out the repair. Wondering how this will go and whether this is still within the warranty or not. EDIT: the technician was very friendly, unfortunately he could not do anything since it apparently was a production error and a known problem within whirlpool. Apparently the customer service is also managed externally and whirlpool itself cannot do much about its customer friendliness. They have blamed the external company several times for customer friendliness.

Built-in Microwave oven bought from Bauknecht (part of whirlpool), broke down during warranty, they visited twice. I already indicated that they would better replace the device, because there is a design error, but they did not follow up. The continuation can be guessed: a few months after the expiry of the warranty the appliance breaks down, whirlpool refuses to repair this appliance. I opened the device myself and now replace the defective component myself (on average every 6 months). I would therefore strongly advise against ever buying 1 additional product that you want to use for more than 2 years.

Service is non-existent. We can write a book about it but you don't deserve that. You don't even earn a star, but we have to give one, otherwise this review cannot be posted on Google. It is bad enough that you have to wait almost a week and a half for a technician to pass, but what makes it worse is not knowing between which hours you can / may expect this person, with the result that you are always obliged to take a day's leave. take. On top of that if your technician has called and you cannot answer - which is always possible since you are working - he / she does not record a message nor does he / she answer if you call back. Even if you leave a message, you will not even receive a response! In addition to this throughout this process, nobody is willing to help when you call the "help desk". There they hide behind rules. One of the absurd rules that I was told is that you do not know which technician has which route / customers and therefore cannot contact you. Today with all the technological gadgets, planning software and the like, and yet you can't do this ??? Imagine that as a multinational anno 2019 !? Another issue is that you work with electronic vouchers, but if I wish to receive this, they send me to my kitchen installer, where I bought a kitchen almost 10 years ago and today has nothing to do with me or the problem. After 3 friendly attempts to make it clear to the person on the other end of the line that I would like to speak to the technical service, I gave up. You send satisfaction surveys through but don't do anything with it! The result is a service that is very superficial, without content, without added value ... a sad story.

Customer service has found my guarantee, arranged the arrival of a technician according to my schedules. The technician contacted me 10 min before coming to my door. He quickly identified the problem and repaired the fault ... My satisfaction is total :)

Customer support is just outrageous. Using the COVID argument for an even worse organization. They've promised us a thousand times to call us back and we never got a single call. They don't communicate, even by text message. Our appointment was changed at the last minute on the same day. They leave us almost 3 weeks without a washing machine. 27.10 Dear Olivier, Given there is now way to counter-reply, I am modifying my original message. Please, bear with my English, as it allows me to more thorough. We have been contacting you by phone, via Facebook, via formal e-mails, and now this. A formal complaint will also follow. Let me only tell you that the technician finally came on 22.10 to replace some components and after a single wash, the washing machine is showing no error, but does not whirlpool the clothes once they are inside and soaked. There seem to be plenty of parallel channels in your customer service. First, we do not have a clear ticket number. Then, people at the switchboard do not seem to have a chronology of the interventions and information received. Finally, we are repeatedly promised visits that never take place in the end. Empirically, we have learned that only appointments confirmed via text are reliable. I am writing this also for other readers. Yesterday we have received a call promising a new visit on 29.10. Yet, no text is confirming it. We will keep you posted here.

Appointment made by phone on Friday and technician available 4 days after. Very friendly technician repair done in less than an hour with an explanation. Very satisfied with the whirlpool after-sales service, both by telephone and on site with the technician. To recommend. Thanks again.

A faulty resistance almost triggered a fire in the kitchen (I let you imagine the disaster if I did not disconnect the plug and watered the oven in time). Repair charged at 225 for this resistance, while a microwave NEW oven would cost between 299 and 549 on the net. After the appointment and the diagnosis, I was given an appointment within 2 weeks to change the room. Then SURPRISE !!! The technician showed up with the wrong piece . And here are the Christmas and New Year's parties spoiled. A new appointment is scheduled for the month of January to order the piece. I called to complain, in vain! radio silence. Secretary barely aligned two words in French and allowed me to send my request to a manager. All I got was a text message informing me of the appointment in January. I am a tenant otherwise, I would never have accepted this scam when the problem occurred due to a lack of manufacture of the resistance. HATE TO YOU WHIRLPOOL.

Hypocrites 1st class! Call with simple problem, a squeaky dishwasher (2years old), and let them hear it over the phone. "Oh, we've never heard that before, we're sending someone along". Technieker comes 2 weeks later "Oh, that's a very common problem, the crane is a bit stuck, just turn it on and turn it back on". 120EUR for 2min work. What a waste of everyone's time, money and resources! Chances I would buy something at Whirlpool again? You can already guess ... Shame on you, Whirlpool!

Poor service that I have experienced; - have to wait 4 months for a technician - Have to come back a second time, but did not come without letting us know - Indeed 179 standard for any repair - Customer service hardly speaks Dutch and has no idea what the schedule is NEVER BUY WIRLPOOL !!

In general, we are satisfied with the Whirpool products. However if a large electro breaks down a technician is sent but only during office hours ... and it seems impossible to bring someone at a specific time on weekends or after 6pm ...

Their recovery service is really a farce! They do not make any appointments. On the first appointment they did not show up and on the second they were 3 hours (!) Late. And despite a clearly formulated problem in advance, the technician had no spare parts. We've been waiting for weeks for those pieces now. Can not cook at home for months. They did get their money from our account on time.

This is really the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I have an oven that is broken the same day. Well, we never had any problems with our other Whirlpool appliances, so I can overlook this. But customer service. HORRIBLE!!! the first time I call, it is simply taken. The second time I call I first have to spend 10 minutes spelling all my personal data, and when I finally come to the explanation, I get the answer that I have to pull the plug and wait 5 minutes. Well, of course this didn't work, so I call back and get an appointment for a repairman. before I can ask anything else, the phone is put off again. No good day or nothing. I call back with my question and have the same lady on the phone for the 3rd time. Unfortunately she cannot answer me and she has no intention of trying to help me. Again, no good day or the like. I have worked in customer service (elsewhere) for 2 years and this is really not acceptable. Colleagues who were then working with me and would answer the telephone in such a way flew outside. A minimum of telephone etiquette would be nice.

My oven had broken just during the Corona outbreak. After contacting me I already had an appointment 4 days later. The technician was very pleasant and competent. He repaired my oven while I was working from home. I also really appreciate that a technician had come by even though the Corona outbreak had started and the Lockdown had also started. I can't live without my oven. Thank you for your intervention!

Service leaves a lot to be desired! It takes 5 weeks before my washing machine that is still in warranty is repaired, we are a family of 5pers. I myself had to call 5x to finally be told that a technician can finally come by within 2 weeks with the ordered part. He came to see the 14th of March and they did not come until the 16th of April to recover. And in my 1st telephone to the service desk you are told that a replacement part arrives after 5 weekdays. Then why does it take another 26 days before someone finally comes by? CONCLUSION, WHIRLPOOL'S SERVICE IS NOT POSSIBLE!

Terrible after-service. I let a technician for a dishwasher which was broken. Whirlpool could not make a clear appointment. Just a confirmation that the technician during the day would come during working hours. Have been waiting all day. Meanwhile, even redial service to ask if they could be more specific concerning. the hour. Negative answer. To 17h45, the (friendly) technician then by and have repaired the damage in 10 minutes. There was a piece of glass in the pump. 179 EUR for a small repair of 10 minutes and a short drive from the previous customer to me. Isn't that outrageous? Even put the machine back in place, together with me, was not included. I NEVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL

The combi microwave out after 10 months! troubleshooting on5.11.2018 defective part would be replaced, within 10 days ... still waiting..without the date of repair ... SERVICE AFTER SALE LEAVE TO DESIRE ... item under warranty + paid for prolongation warranty !!!!!!! !!!!

I bought a washer dryer in December last year ... already broken down in early February ..! Programming card problem, original fault. The store where I bought it puts me in contact with the after-sales service! no flexibility .. I have to be there between 8h and 18h no other way no repair on Saturday. Take leave for a repair that will last 20 minutes and in the light of the comments not even be guaranteed that the technician will come? First and last time I spend a euro on this brand!
