I love going to Westworld. There are staff to help with one on one service and advice. I don't get shuffled from one "expert" to another. They know all of their product and are passionate about it. I also believe in supporting the small retailer who has been here since the beginning, you'll see the same friendly faces and develop a relationship with the staff so they will know what you have and what you need.

Amazing experience, awesome service and they didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. I use Apple products but find visiting the apple store to be a frustrating process and Westworld is a great place to shop without pressure. Thanks so much. Set up was so simple that I left it to my cat.

I called last night to see if they had a replacement display for my computer. They said they have one in stock. I asked the cost and first he said $105, then I could hear someone in the background talking to the guy on the phone, and he changes it to $150. I ask if I can bring it in in the morning. They say yes.
So this morning my wife shows up to have it replaced and they tell her its going to cost $400?! Shady business practices.

Went there to buy an iPad Pro , stood around for 10 mins and no help. Even made eye contact with 4 employees and not even a hello or I'm just busy at the moment be right with you. Final straw was 2 of them decided that getting a coffee was more important, so I just walked out and drove over to Best Buy

This store has charged me double the price for the WD Blue SSD and of course I could have checked and compared the prices but I never expected that the price difference could be that big among different stores.

Truly disgusting experience with Apple and Westwor...

Truly disgusting experience with Apple and Westworld today. I took my phone in to get a screen fixed, I was directed to Westworld via the apple service website. The phone had a damaged screen but it functioned perfectly before the service. As it was an older iPhone 7 the screen was only worth fixing if I still had apple care to use on the repair. If I had apple care the repair would cost $30, if not I have to pay $200. This would not be worth it as the phone is valued at $140 by Apple.

Before handing my phone over I asked for confirmation that I had apple care that could be used. The Westworld employee confirmed I did. I paid the $30 and I left my phone with them to be fixed. When I returned I was told the software needed to pair the new screen to the device was down and they were unsure of when it would be working again. I need my phone for work so I asked what my options were. I was told that if I needed my phone back right away the only option would be to put the old screen back on the phone. If I could wait they would keep my device for a day or two and try again when the pairing software was up and running. The problem is they had absolutely zero certainty of when that may be.

I asked them if the phone would function properly if they installed the old screen. The technician ensured me that it would. I agreed for them to reinstall the old screen. After waiting another 45 minutes for the old screen to be re installed the technician called me up to grab my device. Half of the screen was black with lines through it. The screen was glitching and opening random apps without touching it. The phone was completely useless. I was unable to use it for anything work related or for personal use.

I told the technician that the phone will not be any use to me in this condition. I was unable to make a call or text. The message app would randomly start typing and glitching and the phone app was inaccessible. He told me there was nothing he or I could do. He then told me the next available appointment at the apple store for repair was on Wednesday (3 days from now).

I received a refund for the screen repair and immediately drove to the apple store in West Edmonton Mall. I told the staff there what happened and they insured that they could fix the mistake. When I was greeted by and Apple employee he informed me that I DID NOT have any apple care left and that it was going to cost $200. He told me WestWorld was incorrect about the Apple care. I informed him about the frustrating morning at Westworld. I was also very clear that if I knew about the apple care being used I would have just kept the cracks on the screen. The manager at the Apple store was called out and wanted to get my story. I told him what had happened so he asked what I thought the corrective action should be. I told him I just want the screen fixed for $30. Should not be a big deal for a corporation such as Apple. He said they could not do that. The conversation ended with me either upgrading my device and getting $140 in accessories (value of iphone 7), or paying $200 for a screen fix. He did not recommend the fix due to the value of the phone, which I already knew.

I do not want to update my phone yet as there is no current Iphone that is 5G compatible. I was planning on buying a new device once they are 5G compatible. Now I am now stuck between upgrading to a phone I do not want or overpaying for a screen fix. Very Frustrating Sunday that lasted 6 hours over a cracked screen!

This is a mixed review. I finally got what I need...

This is a mixed review. I finally got what I needed to upgrade my 5 year old computer, but it was a process. During that process, I was treated to condescension, abruptness, and a lot of confusion, the last part being 5 different people poring over the sales computer with 5 different opinions on how to process my prepaid back order, which replaced the previous part I had ordered from the warehouse to finish upgrading my computer, which they gave away to someone else, after I replied to their email that I would be in to the store to pick it up and them ignoring that. The staff is probably technically proficient in the repair dept but their customer relations suck, as in immature. The male customer who preceded me was treated with unending deference by the clerk, whereas I, an old lady with an old computer, was dealt with prefunctorily, with alternating impatience, aggressiveness and "ok lady, I've done the job perfectly, so get your a--- out of here". I hope business is good, they couldn't have done more to chase this customer away.

Went to buy iPhone SE 2020. Price on website was $649, in-store price is $749. I'll never shop in store again.

No need to discuss the 'premium' in store experience.

So for $100 you get a data transfer service and a $50 credit for in store purchase.

An iPhone data transfer is accomplished by tapping your old phone to your new one, wait 10 minutes and everything is transfered.

You can use the $50 gift card to buy a case that's miraculously $49.99. This same case can be found on Amazon for $13.

It seems like your premium in store experience preys on those who don't know how easy it is to upgrade your old phone or how cheap cases are from online retailers.

I bought my last two mac laptops here and my first experience was good - but my most recent one this summer wasn't. The sales person didn't ask me any questions about what kind of laptop I needed and I ended up with a lower model than I would have bought if they had inquired. I will be going to an apple store for my next one.
