Very clean hotel, lovely staff, very large bedrooms. Excellent restaurant with wide options on menu. Large pool with steam room and sauna in the leisure center

Stayed at the plaza in Feb 2016. Great hotel and would highly recommend it.

Should be a good hotel but some decisions have been made to economise which make it below par for a 4 star:
Guests should not be sent to the Castlecourt leisure Centre as this is not an appropriate pool/spa for a 4 star hotel
Guests should be allowed complimentary access to the thermal suite in the spa in the hotel. Currently it is 15 pp and only available to book until 5. To compete against other 4 star hotels (Seafield,Radisson Cavan) these times should be extended to 9pm and robes should be provided for guests.
The standard of food at the breakfast is not of a sufficiently high quality for a 4 star. The fruit and bread in particular is of a low quality.
The charging of supplements for some breakfast items (omelette) seems excessive

The staff especially Fiona Gannon on reception are amazing they could not do enough for you. Beautiful food,rooms and atmosphere. Special thanks again to Fiona she made my parents stay so easy and went out of her way to help them both. Would highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel with fantastic staff that are helpful, professional and genuinely friendly. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable.
Excellent food available in the Merlot restaurant in the evenings too.

Our Westport Plaza experience was second to none. Every single member of staff went over the extra mile to be courteous and helpful. The food was excellent and the ambience peaceful and relaxing. My sisters and I loved it! We've been there before and we'll be back.

We went for swim, 2 adults and to kids. excellent facilities and whatever you pay for your swim (in our case 20) you can redeem on bar food. So excellent value.

We went on a very good deal and we're not disappointed the hotel was busy, even though it was february. We climbed skelp mountain and cycled the greenway. That evening went to leisure centre. Fabulous weekend

We had a group of 14 stay the first weekend in october... the staff of both hotel and restaurant couldn't do enough for us and all our different requirements... we will 100% be back and be bringing the kids next time.. thank you for making our weekend so memorable

Did not stay here,but used swimming pool, sauna,gym,steam room +jacuzzi. 4 keep your receipt & get 4 off meal bill in the hotel restaurant.

We took our son with special needs to Westport Plaza for his birthday over last weekend. All the staff were excellent to him the room was exactly what we wanted and also put us near the lifts. We'll be back again thanks so much Caitlin

I have to say The Plaza Hotel in Westport is among the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Apart from it being luxurious with large comfortable beds, jacuzzi baths and marble tiles what really makes it are the staff. They can't do enough for you. The reception, bar, restaurant, cleaning and management staff all appear happy and polite and work very hard to make your stay relaxing and memorable. I highly recommend a stay here.

We had a family room. Great space, double window so there was no road noise. The pool is very nice with friendly staff. My kids didn't want to go home.

Stayed September, we felt safe as the hotel has good measures in place to protect everyone from covid . Our room was excellent and the staff pleasant and courteous.During our stay we dined in the Plaza Bar where the menu covers all tastes looked after by front of house James.
We had a beautiful breakfast in the mornings and would have no reason not to return to Westport Plaza .

Ideal location. Value for money. Excelent facilities for food and drink and if you want more, just walk the few meters into town for things traditional and modern or even foreign. Its well worth the visit, day or night.

Easy parking. Met old friend there for catch up and lunch. Good service and decent enough food.

Terrible place, staff unfriendly, food terrible, left 500 euro with hotel for one night. Very bad value for money. Will not be returning to this hotel. Go to the South of Ireland and see how you should be treated.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here .. we will definitely return... first time in Westport, expecting a one horse town and sooo pleasantly surprised.. absolutely stunning town, with everything you need In walking distance... so pretty and people are so friendly... 100% recommend
A must see county... esp when it comes to Ireland.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Rooms are very comfortable and we were lucky enough to have a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath.

Loved it we had a lovely relaxing time here, the power went for 2 hours and i didnt feel they handled it too well as we had been booked for dinner at 8pm and electricity wasnt back until 9.30 so when we arrived down for a bite to eat once the power came on they told us they were no longer serving but made an exception as we were really hungry and got some bar food. The staff handled it well as you could tell they were clearly stressed. The whole towns power went but would suggest a back up generator for such a big hotel!! Thats why i will give it 4 stars had we not of had to kick up a fuss about the food we would of went hungry.

Had a fantastic lunch in the bar/restaurant with generous portions and fantastic service from Dominik our waiter. The Pulled Pork and BBQ ribs were a definite highlight!

Had my sister's hen in Westport last weekend and used The Plaza hotel for afternoon tea,dinner and as our accommodation.The staff were so friendly,helpful and accommodating!The food was top class!We got great value for money and they didn't charge us of on the day cancellations!The rooms were fab and had speical treats left out for the bride to be! We had a wonderful weekend and we can't thank The Plaza enough!#doingMayoproud

The hotel is really nice, and modern. But the restaurant is quiet expensive....The staff is very friendly, the bar food is good.

Couldn't get parked due to a wedding in sister hotel next door. Restaurant dark and gloomy. Staff too busy setting up for a big party so we went out to eat. Room good and very good breakfast.

The service by staff was excellent. Hotel was lovely and everyone friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Had a Jacuzzi Bath which was great - a modern flat tv screen and use of Netflix. The only downer was that you had to pay to use the Sauna and other Thermal Suites. First hotel in Ireland that has charged me for using their Sauna. Also you had to go outside to another building to use the swimming pool. Lovely little gardens and courtyards to the rear. Breakfast was good - a good choice. Lunch and Dinner Menu the same so ate outside hotel at night. Found an excellent Restaurant called Old Bridge- a 5 min walk from hotel. Had a Trip Adviser Rating and it def deserved it.
