wonderful Christmas there last year excellent manager in charge good food surprise treats lovely christmas spirit returning there this year felt more like guests in a country house than customers in a hotel.

Difficult times post Covid19 but the Hotel and its staff doing a fantastic job making things as normal as possible... Rooms very comfortable and food excellent.
Really nice, high quality hotel. I ate here with a large group a couple of nights and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious and nice and quite.
Spent a great few days recently at the Plaza, had booked online and found that there was excellent communication from front of house in the lead to our stay, with updates or answering queries regarding our booking.
We booked the Presidential suite room 500(Junior Penthouse) on a 2night B&B + 2D basis, and it didn't disappoint, the room needs seeing to believe, with a seating area separate to the bedroom, and the restroom separate from both, balcony also... regarding facilities there is a PC and printer, two TVs
with Netflix etc, mini bar, coffee machine, Kettle, iron/board, and the little luxuries added like Chocolates, Cookies, Port, Wine, Waters - perfect.
Dinner was great from ordering to finishing both nights took 1 hour, the ideal timeframe for four courses, well done in particular to a member in the dinner service, Adam, an exemplary member of staff, and seemingly alot of others dining around us felt so.
Breakfast was perfect, not a flaw on either occasion.
Spa is very good, ladies working in the Spa are helpful and pleasent, spent a morning in the Thermal suite then the Rasul, certainly recommended for a truly relaxing time...
The room is a little worn, some marks on the sofas, a few tears in the wallpaper, some small holes in the voile for the balcony door however, It would not be so to stop me booking again tomorrow.
I did not stay at the hotel but I had a light lunch there which was disappointing it was fresh but fairly bland and the side order of chips weren't tasty either nice place but was quite disappointed with the food I got and only had small amount of it
Had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable room. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel clean and modern. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay over Christmas.food was outstanding every meal.rooms are high standard.I can't speak highly enough of the staff.they all went out of their way to be of assistance to everyone .
We really enjoyed our stay in Westport Plaza hotel. We would especially like to mention Borin that works at hotel reception who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was excellent. Looking forward to staying there again.
This place is 4 star and deserves it, small niggles ,room rate included breakfast but wife had nothing from the buffet offerings or from the cooked menu except asked for pancakes (extra charge 2.50) and got charged for them despite having nothing else !!!!
Nice hotel just 5 mins walk from the main shopping street. Rooms were large. Breakfast was fine. Didn t eat in the restaurant. Free parking in the basement car park with direct access into the hotel which was great.
Fantastic experience. Lovely rooms and very warm staff. Great Covid-19 management while maintaining an easy atmosphere is not easily done. Fair play.

I am pleased to say we stayed her in July 2109, first class service , we was upgraded to a room on the top floor which overlooked croagh with 2 balcony's, was very impressed with the upgrade, we would definatatly visit again,, but would have to be room 601 again wonderful ,restaurant evening meal included in our package was fabulous, made our short break,

Very central location, with underground car park, walking distance to local pubs and shops, leasure center has a swimming pool and dining was good.
Quiet simply... over priced for what you get. Did not feel we got value for money.

Asked to change rooms were given 606 it was a room in an attic with very dated furniture.
No jam available at breakfast only marmalade on first morning breakfast.

Very comfortable family room. Spacious & very comfortable beds. Big bathroom too & breakfast was delicious. Not sure why there's a supplement to order pancakes at breakfast, but nevertheless it was delicious.

Lovely place and delicious food. They do a swim and dine offer so what you spend on swim is taken off lunch bill.
When entering the hotel. Everything was been sanitised.. Felt very safe reception staff was exceptional and very professional. Upon arrival to the room the interior was beautiful our room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The timing on our in room breakfast was brilliant and also quality of food was next to none. The food in "coveys" was astonishing. Staff was very helpful, polite and well trained. The bar was very nice place also to watch the football. Couldn't recommend this hotel more I have nothing bad too say.

Just back from two nights stay and will definitely be back. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and our room was really lovely, big and spacious with a lovely little balcony .
Intended to eat here but had to leave due to screaming toddlers being allowed to run around by the adults with them. When I asked the manager, who happened to bring us menus, to please request the adults in that group to attempt to get the toddlers to sit down I was rudely & abruptly told "They're not my children". I've patronised the various Corcoran hotels for many years & never before encountered such insolence from any staff member.
Very friendly staff and great food. The family room however (room 419) was not in good condition at all. Damaged furniture and door, missing tiles from bathroom and generally a very dated room in need of a new refurbishment. We looked at another family room but this was no better. There are non-family rooms which are in great condition, just a shame this theme doesn't flow into the family rooms.
First class food, service and accommodation, I can highly recommended this hotel.

A very nice hotel, rooms well apportioned, bar and restaurant, nice breakfast, reasonable rates.
We have stayed here four times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Dinner in the Merlot restaurant was excellent as usual, breakfast is cooked to order and much better than a hot buffet. There was good live music in the adjacent Castlecourt Hotel and the pint of Guinness was excellent.
Absolutely brilliant, we will be back again, great staff, all the way, from reception, breakfast, restaurant, bar and housekeeping. Well done Westport Plaza.

Had a beautiful, airy room with 2 sets of french doors overlooking the courtyard cafe, so was treated to a free concert by the musician who played there! Gorgeous bathroom -- HUGE by European standards, immaculate. TV with netflix movies free. Nice breakfast, terrific service, easy parking and GREAT town to explore!
Great hotel and located a short stroll from restaurants / shops
By far the best hotel in Mayo. The food in the Merlot restaurant is 5 star and the service is second to none. The rooms are large clean bright and with all modern amenities, including a Jacuzzi bath. The spa is excellent also. If you need to stay in a hotel in Mayo, this is the one.
Lovely clean hotel. Just a great pity the noise from the night club ruined any chance of sleep till after 3am.
The hotel is great, rooms are comfortable and have jet bath. The only thing is breakfast is a bit late for professionals starting at 7:30. All the rest was great.
