Westin Park Central Review

One expects to be able to work from such a hotel as Westin . And for such a big hotel and high price only having one printer is absurd. It was broken. So made my stay very difficult.

The staff is very polite, and the rooms are nice and spacious. Our room was very clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a pool and gym.

It's a very nice venue with a beautiful view of the city. I didn't get a room but I got to experience the building and it is very fancy and elegant. The service is great and the staff are friendly. It's right off the highway so you're just a hop and a skip away from downtown.

Front desk ppl all rude except the male and menu items far too exspensive.. otherwise it was great.

But.... They charge you to park your car overnight. and room service not only is ridiculously expensive, they charge A DELIVERY FEE for it too as well as a separate service fee. Honey, no hotel is THAT nice

The hotel is very clean and sleek. However staff was unhelpful. Staff gave us a room that was already in use. The phone in room did not work. There is not a microwave in the rooms!

The room smelled like urine

There was hair in the bathroom and we had to go out to get cleaning supplies

There is no laundry service

The restaurant doesn't serve breakfast

The view was amazing

The person who checked us out didn't ask about our stay. I wouldn't stay here again.

From what I saw it was a nice hotel. I was only there for an event.

One of the most pleasant business layovers I've had in a while. The date was tentative, courteous, and very welcoming. I really enjoyed the on site bar showing the news and latest in sports to keep you informed and entertained. The property was clean, well maintained and properly staffed to have guests needs met at every turn.

Look and feel is good.. place to stay once in a while

The reason why I gave this hotel a one star is because I don t like Uber driver coming to the front of the hotel thinking that they get the customers first and getting the taxi driver mad so I would recommend that all the guest choose taxi over Uber because they are more convenient and they will take good care of you and make sure you get to where you want to be at

Even when the customers leave the hotel take taxi because they were here before Uber was

So from now on ask for a taxi instead of a black car because the black cars one that waits in front of the hotel are greedy for money and are impatient people so from now on just take taxi everywhere you want to go to

Even don t take Uber when you leave the hotel because taxi driver keeps their car clean 24/7 and the Uberx cleans their car when they want to

Unprofessional behavior from a waiter. Observed her being rude to a customer.

My room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was not worth $20 though, and be ready to pay if you want to use the business center.

Terrible 5 day stay. Too many problems to state here from booking, at one point two elevators working, intermittent escalators, cold water off, fire alarms going off at all hours. At these prices, really! How about a simple sorry even. Should remove Westin name, really bad for the brand. Staff spends time apologizing for management ineptness.

We were booked for the night by our airline due to a flight cancellation. The staff was very friendly and understanding.

Stayed for 3 nights. Great experience. Very roomy and comfortable atmosphere. Rooftop pool. Large lobby. No refrigerator in room. Covered parking but you do have to pay for it. I would stay here again. Clean and comfortable.

This was a great experience! Had a photoshoot here! It was the Dallas Expo where tons of photographers, modelling agencies, scouts, actors and models show up. Granted for these events you do have to be invited but overall it was an exceptional experience and the hotel hosting this was amazing!

The room was nice. The usual Westin standards. The restaurant is very nice with a good selection of beer. The location isn't the greatest, and the fitness room is an average size.

This is an average hotel. Stayed a single night. The room smelled as if it had once been a smoking room. Noticeable, but not overpowering. Ordered from their room service menu. It took quite a while for it to arrive and they forgot part of the order. Overall, though, this hotel serves its purpose and I would consider staying there again so long as I could get the same discounted rate I got this time.

Very nice and helpful staff. I didn't end up staying there bc of booking issues but they were more than helpful in assisting me in any way they could. I'm definitely coming back.

Great hotel. A little out of the way but the price is right. Rooms are nice and clean. Parking is a little expensive.

The pillows were so bad that it was super hard to sleep. Me and my wife both had neck aches in the morning and were constantly re arranging the pillows all night. Also, people kept slamming their doors and the bartenders were kind of rude to us. On a good note...room was very clean, parking was expensive yet convenient and over all we had a pleasant stay.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms are very spacious, with excellent balance of natural & indoor lights and equipped with all the essential amenities. A wonderfully vibrant bar at the lobby adds warmth and variety to this place. Never a dull moment.

Smell of marijuana was so strong I had to change rooms. Took 30 minutes to get me another room. Had time to call corporate and explain the situation to them before they showed up.

Awesome hotel that was able to take me after I had a bit of an incident at another hotel during the early morning hours. Rooms were nice and spacious and staff were super friendly.

Great hotel. The staff members at the front desk are friendly and they always give me room upgrades during low season. The location of the hotel is also convenient if you are on business trip.

Really should consider replacing old sofas with leather ones if you re going to have them. It appears to be semen stains on the one in our room which is pretty disgusting. Also, checked sheets and pillow cases and it s quite a bit of hair on them. Other than that hotel lobby is beautiful and for those who doesn t want to pay for valet, they offer free parking in a lot behind the hotel.

Came for All Con, the DJ hurt himself so we didn't get to sing karaoke. Akon is better.

This hotel has really good customer service. It has full bar and restaurant. The 1st night i visited the bar and the bartender was very attentive even though he had a good amount of guests. The 3rd night if you want to buy a snack or drink then you have to wait until the gift shop opens. I got the hotel at 11pm and the gift shop had already closed for the day. Every floor has a soda vending machine but it wouldnt take my debit card or cash. I went down to the front desk and tried to get change. The gentleman working asked the drinks i was looking for and offered to get provide them in cans. He went above and beyond what i was expecting.

Nice hotel, was bummed only king size available, but it was during a large convention.

Bathub was dirty. Toiletries were empty. Exhaust fan and light didn't work. There was some one elsea haor on the robe. Waster was not provided. The coffee machine didn't function. I couod hear every words of the next door guests conversations.

The hotel is really nice. I lives in 1511. The city view is really good. The room format is awesome and the decoration in the hotel is fantanstic. Though, parking is not free, I feel safe when i park there and the car will not be so hot in the morning.

Got an amazing deal on Priceline for the night. The room was clean quiet and spacious. While I couldn't hear other occupants. The doors are heavy and loud but that's my only complaint.

Be aware the 24 hour room service is dangerous for your wallet don't impulse shop the menu. The chocolate cake more than made up for my temporary laspe in judgement.

Entry was beautiful and the bar and bartender were great, but the rooms weren't anything to write home about.

Attended an event and found everything to be fantastic

I enjoyed my stay at this Westin. We were evacuees from Hurricane Harvey, and the staff were extremely attentive to our needs in order to have a comfortable stay. The food they offer is good, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well. The rooms are immaculate, and the cleaning ladies do a fabulous job maintaining the rooms during our stay. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel in Dallas.

A.C. didn't work. Room service was awful. Stake chips, cold bread and a dessert that didn't match the menu description. They charged me $3 extra for the sandwich but refunded me after a discussion about posted prices. The ice machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. I couldn't make myself use it. The registration clerk was professional but not warm at all. I got the impression nobody cares at this hotel. It is a beautiful place, but the service, attitude, and amenities are definitely lacking.

There is currently whine construction, but the noise level is low. WiFi signal is strong.

Moisture on the windows was dripping inside every morning..

I liked the lobby and I liked how big are the rooms, the fitness room and swimming pool are amazing.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. After driving for 6 hours, I was told I cannot check-in because I was not 21 (I am 19 and here for a college orientation with my sister). I booked through a travel site which said nothing about having to be 21 in order to check-in. Texas law says that you must be 18 or older to check-in to a hotel (which are requirements that I met). So, after being rudely turned away, I had to leave a hotel that I had paid $105 per night for, to find a hotel, last minute, in a place that I have very little experience in. I ended up staying at a 2 star hotel across the freeway and, while its not the nicest, the service I have received is AMAZING and blows the service of the 4 star hotel out of the water. I This is age discrimination at its finest and it put me in a situation where, I thought, I was going to have to sleep in my car in downtown Dallas.

Been coming here twice a year for the last year and a half. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nice size and the elevators seem to be a little better. I tend to ask for a lower floor due to the slow elevators. Toiletries could be a little better. We had room 434 which is in a great location. The room was a bit dusty as I sneezed quite a bit. The gym is decent and the pool area needs some more shade.

Loved my stay at Westin Dallas Park Central.The room was very clean, spacious. Check in was very easy as well. Staff was very personable also. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to Dallas Tx.

I'm rating this stay out of value more than anything. I got a a 3-night weekend rate of $63 a night from Expedia. The room was clean enough but there was a water stain on the restroom floor tiles and the tissues were stuffed back in the tissue box like someone took too many and stuffed some back. Some light bulbs were out and the popcorn ceiling is dated. One morning when we went down to the lobby, someone had dropped drinks in an elevator and the floor in it was sticky, not to mention there were two wads of chewed gum thrown on the floor. Come on, guys, you can do better!

Nice hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Gym is terrible but there is an LA Fitness 2 miles away that's well equipped.

Under construction. Room was unavailable at check-in, maid service rude. Parking attendant would not let us into parking, despite having rooms. Terrible.

The great atmosphere & guest services. I went to treat myself. You know a girl loves a day away to shop & pampering. The room service & food was excellent.

Stayed at the Westin during an Armando Montelongo Bus Tour in December of 2017. Our seminars went on into the late night and staff is always available around the clock. Their bar hosts several spirits and appetizers. Ample lobby area to also sit back and enjoy a good conversation.

Great with conventions. Love it when they have a UPS booth available.

ain't nothing happening here that isn't happening all across the metroplex, and that's any metroplex of your choosing! the only difference is the monetary value of the clientel ! for those who want the cold facts. after all that little white speck on top of chicken sh** is chicken sh** too. no disrespect towards hotel though, as they are just hosting the show

It's a very nice hotel. Sometimes the staff seems a little tense, but over all its good!

We stay while attending All-Con. We were not satisfied at all with the hotel. First the parking garage barely and I mean barely fit our truck(we don't have a lift or anything). Out if the 5 elevators only 3 worked. They were at capasity every time we rode them. We waited no less than 10 minutes every time to get on the elevator. Triple that time of you have luggage. Second while the lobby and meeting rooms are very nice the rooms themselves are very old and not accommodating. The cleaning crews never made our bed they just brought 2 towels and left and didn't clean the bathrooms at all. We were on the 7th floor and our window for done reason built up so much condensation that it was making huge puddles on the floor. It was not raining or humid outside. Third the walls are paper thin. We got to listen to someone getting arrested at 2am a few doors down and could hear every thing clearly. Multiple times we though people were in our room but turns out it was people talking next door. I would not recommend staying here for the price. It is not a 4-star hotel.

We came here for our honeymoon and they did everything to make our stay amazing. My wife was at ah when she saw the suite.

Hands down one of the poorest customer service experiences I've ever had. The manager Chastity Hartfield was not only rude but depicted every connotation of what is wrong with service organizations in America today. Rather than make a customer for life she elected to turn me out, forcing me to find another establishment to stay in, and kept my money on top of it all. I have never left a comment in a social media form before but after having had this experience I felt it was my only recourse for people to know who you're dealing with when you stay at the Westin Dallas Park Center. I have stayed at other Westin establishments and have found them to be excellent, but steer clear of this one it is sullying the name of the Westin hotel chain.

It was just OK to me, the first room I received had stains on the mattress. When I went downstairs they took care of me very quickly and then gave me a new room. Everything was good with the room until my neighbor had a call on speaker that was heard word for word through my walls. I am a frequent traveler so this wasn't the end of the world and she didn't stay on the phone for too long.

Customer Service is Great. The location of this hotel is fantastic. You can reach different food places in walking distance and also a pharmacy. The rooms were clean and the hotel maintenance is good. Overall a great experience.
