Overall it looks like a nice hotel, and it s close to the strip, but be advised, there is a resort fee, in spite of the fact that it s off the strip, and there s no casino in the hotel. I ve enjoyed previous stays at other Westin hotels, but they wouldn t allow cancellation despite the fact that it wasn t clear on Expedia that they did not have a casino. When I tried to cancel through Expedia, they said I needed the okay from Westin, but when I contact Westin, they say I need to cancel through Expedia, so I m just getting the runaround. The whole thing has been frustrating, and no one seems to care about getting a resolution.

Fabulous customer service. Keith went above and beyond. Our cel phone had died we asked how to get to a Verizon store, unable to call Uber without a working phone. He ordered Uber to get us there at his expense. Entire staff is phenomenal.

It's a very nice hotel..and truly a breath of fresh air compared to the smoke filled hotels here in Vegas. AS SOON..As we walked in the smell of the hotel was soothing and refreshing and the layout was very nice. Will definitely be back on our next trip to vegas!!

The customer service is frustrating. When we first arrived we were told it would be a 15min wait to get a room, here I am still waiting over an hour later. I have seen multiple guest that have arrived much much after I did already receive rooms. I has been extremely frustrating. As of writing this review I am still waiting for a room... so update on the roomed situation finally got the room but the light in the restroom do not work

We went to rent a car and started to play the machines. Everything was very clean, there were less people asking questions which was nice and it had easy access off of monorail across street.

Had an amazing staycation here for my wife s birthday. They offered us a upgraded view and complimentary breakfast for her special day. We had dinner on the strip and saw a show and then the next morning I took her to the Hibiscus spa for a couples massage. Great place like every other Westin we ve ever stayed at.

I've been hearing drilling and hammering for over an hour and it's 7:45am! There's no lobby due to construction, and a makeshift bar and restaurant, so no where to escape to! Josh from express help must be overworked as he was frustrated with me and condescending. I can't believe they are still filling rooms near the construction!!! There are employees walking up and down the hallway with loud walkie talkies. The cushions are ripped in the pool area. And this room would be awful at anytime, how bout that view! This Westin does not live up to the Westin reputation.
Update:
Samantha moved us to a room on the 9th floor, with blue skies out my window and no construction noise, and gave us a room credit for our trouble. Now I can rest, relax and breathe during my stay at the Las Vegas Westin! Thank you Samantha for your help!

The hotel's boiler broke which meant that I couldn't shower before going to the airport. I felt disgusting. The hotel didn't have a backup and it sounded like it's happened before. However, they comped a night's stay.

The rooms were nice, but we had a very negative experience at the spa. The hotel staff were accommodating about the issue, but it seemed that they didn't view the spa as part of the hotel, even though it's a service they offer. We are supposed to be getting a refund because of our spa experience but have yet to receive the check (they said they had to mail us a check because they couldn't return it). I wish they would live up to the standards that other hotels in the Marriott portfolio are expected to. I'll be gold elite by the end of the year and I don't feel that I was treated as such. What a shame.

The hotel is pretty nice overall, excelling in some aspects while lacking in others. The lobby has actually no sitting areas, which was an immediate let down for me, as when we got there, they said our room wouldn't be ready for 3 more hours. (Which I'm also not impressed by) everything else about the hotel is pretty nice, just like all the other Westins ice been to. The area is pretty safe at night and is placed very well, as the hotel is walking distance from the Bellagio.

On the positive side I liked the convenience of the location and the ease of the self parking.

I would not choose to stay here again as the beds were uncomfortable with rough sheets. My sleep was interrupted multiple times due to the poor sound insulation between the rooms and the hall.

Jake and Eli restaurant..Went here for our anniversary in November 2018; had heard a lot of things about this small intimate restaurant, which is a fairly recent addition to the hotel. The reviews of this hidden gem didn't disappoint in any aspect! The menu is not your standard Vegas fare and the bar menu offers quite the selection; since we've traveled to KY and Europe we know our Bourbons and whiskeys! Had the "Not so Old Fashion" ....wow! Our meal was spectacular and we asked to see the Chef...Paul is a quiet genius, who knows his trade, humble with over 30 years in the culinary business and it shows! You've found a treasure there with Chef Paul. We rolled out after a million calorie dessert.....what a lovely way to celebrate! Thank you!!!

Good things:

Good things:

Service - Francisco, at the front desk, and Tony, a service operator, were both very nice and offered great service.

Amenities - There s a Starbucks and an Enterprise on site, which can be handy for travelers. I only got coffee at Starbucks.

Lobby/Bar - The lobby was designed well. It had a cool vibe to it. I didn t go to the bar, but looked nice as well.

Bad things:

Destination Fee - There is a $32/day destination fee with tax.

Valet - Valet wasn t friendly either. There was no greetings or service provided the 3 1/2 days I was there by valet.

Room - My room, 1031, was below what I would expect from the Westin. The room looked dated and was extremely noisy. I could clearly hear the conversations going on next door. Hallway traffic, at times, was also loud.

Bathroom - The shower tiles need to be cleaned. There s was mildew in the grout in multiple spots. Gross! Also, after a 15 minute shower, the water (about 2 inches) took a very long time to drain. Gross! The towels were not that great as well.

Location - I also wouldn t stay at this hotel alone again due to the somewhat sketchy location.

Hotel is decent. Rooms are clean but very thin walls, doors, and windows making it difficult to sleep at times. Also pillows are terrible so definitely request foam ones as they are much better!

The Westin is close enough to the livelihood of Vegas, but you can also just not be part of that atmosphere. For a company meeting, or family trip, a great location. FYI don't bring kids to Vegas

Upon arrival, was disappointed to find that there was no longer at casino.
I had scheduled a pedicure for my friend, it was the hibiscus pedicure, that advertised of lower leg massage, foot Milk Bath, and color. We were charged extra for removal of the gel polish that had disappeared on all of her toes except the big ones, it was a $15 charge plus tip. Her feet were soaked for a minute or so so in Blue Water, not a milk bath, and the lower leg massage consisted of a little bit of lotion applied. Very disappointed.
In the bathroom, the grout in the tub shower area was disgraceful.
I needed to print something from there Business Center, and was charged $7 for access to the computer and then another dollar for the printing. I don't understand how this happens when there is free WiFi throughout the hotel.
I will not be going back, and I have used this hotel in the past numerous times.

Was a great stay, with exception to the missing towels on the one day. Breakfast staff, staff all in general were professional and friendly. A short walk to the strip and the peaceful absence of any kind of gambling and smoking that goes along with it.

Lobby, resurant and bar are are all nice and updated. The room we were is was dated and needs a remodel. Just off the strip so that nice if you dont want to stay in a casino. But, sub par for a Westin property.

Very nice hotel but very confusing to navigate even though it's not very large. You enter from the parking garage into a hallway of conference rooms for some reason, then you get to a lobby area with multiple desks that are not clearly labeled - it's hard to tell which is check in, security, etc. Also towards the back there is a column next to a Starbucks that says restrooms & an arrow pointing straight ahead. "Straight ahead" is either the Starbucks, which has no bathroom, a dead-end crevice with no bathroom, or if you go around the Starbucks there is a door to the street. I asked the Starbucks cashier for the bathroom, they said "next to the bar," which is huge. I walked next to the bar, saw nothing, all the way back to the front of the lobby (absolutely no restroom directional signage anywhere), asked someone else who pointed me around the other side of the bar, so I walked past a gift shop & then found them down a random room/hallway. I basically made a huge circle to find them & I ended up almost where I started. Poor/no directions & staff didn't help much, very frustrating.

The hotel lobby looks refined with restaurant, bar and Starbucks (for those coffee lovers). Restaurant food is okay but hostess staff could improve their customer service skills (like not exhibiting impatient faces). While you would not get the best views from your room, compared to higher rised hotels, the hotel location is good for walking around Vegas. The rooms appear partially revamped, leaving the bath tubs wishing for a little love.

This is an excellent hotel. 5 minute walk from the main strip but half the price of the hotels on the strip. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. The beds are amazing. So big and comfortable. The air-conditioning is just right both in the lobby and the room.
The room facilities have Starbucks coffee, hairdryer, safe, TV, USB outlets in all the power sockets, iron and ironing board. The shower is excellent and there is plenty of soap, shower gel and shampoo to go around.
There is a Starbucks on the grounds which is open most of the time except for early hours. There is a shop where you can crisps and drinks. There is free Wi-Fi through out the hotel which worked at good speeds.
The hotel is used by a lot of the major airlines as a stop over hotel foe their staff.
The best bit for me was the friendly staff. You feel they go the extra mile. I got to know a couple of the bar men and had a really good chat. In fact because I couldn't adjust to Vegas time I found myself in the bar most early mornings chatting to the bar man whom was a good laugh.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Absolute bargain with good facilities and cleanliness.
