Just arrived to checkin and I walk in the hotel. The smell is awful. It smells like a cheap perfume, what are they trying to cover up? I'm in line waiting to checkin, 11 people waiting in line, but only two front desk people (there was only one for a few minutes and then the second showed up). Dont know what to think. I'll write another review later.

Nice smelling hotel and views in our room but no hot water for about 2 hours in the morning of our last day of stay. Free breakfast is better I ve had compared to others.
We enjoyed our stay at the Westin Las Vegas. It was a very short walk to the strip and the parking is included with the resort fee. One of my only issues is that it isn t much of a resort but just a nice hotel so the $36 resort fee I feel is excessive(as are most Vegas hotels). Also the noise from the plumbing is quite loud and a bit obnoxious. The hotel allows dogs, which I m fine with, but if you re not you may want to go somewhere else. The hotel is dated(popcorn ceiling) but still nicer than most hotels in the same price range in the area.
We stayed at the Westin for the long weekend and it was a great choice. It s clean and smells nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was big and comfortable. King bed and a little lounge sofa. Bathroom was average size and bathtub was small but still very clean. The pool was small and limited when it gets crowded. We did notice they didn t pick up used towels or trash even after guest had left the pool for about an hour. They may need a little more attention to that. Loved that there s a Starbucks inside the Westin. Very convenient. Not a far walk to the strip, and very close to The LINQ and shopping/food choices. For three nights it was roughly 500$ and we think it was worth it. We will consider staying at the Westin for our next Vegas trip.
Very nice hotel if u want a quiet hotel near the busy buzzing strip. No smoking allowed in the lobby and no slot machines... For someone like me, that's a blessing.
This is technically an off the strip hotel, and it is reflected in the price. However, the location is basically as close as you can get to the strip w/o paying strip prices.
Nice building but rooms look a little outdated not much to it almost like a expensive motel 6 Edited for one reason only all the employees were extremely helpful and amazing the bar coffee shod and food place really awesome and I got a response from someone who cares to listen to what people wants to say and that alone is a 5 star place thank you for your fast response
When you think you know what the price is going to be when you book on line with any of the services, think again. When you actually arrive you get hit with an additional $100 per night in FEES.
Service was great! The property was underwhelming at best. Person in the room next to us was very loud but, Albert was kind enough to take of that for us. All the garbages around the property were overflowing.
I haven't checked out many of the amenities. The rooms are nice, as is the staff. The hotel feels a little older and the hallways/common areas are a little dated and worn, but it is a comfortable place to spend the night.
Very bad experience with the service team. It's not on the strip and is not worth the price. You can get better hotels on the strip with the same price.
We were put up in the last room. It would of been ok except that my 80 year old mother had to walk and I told him and they saw my mother when they assign my room and then the bathroom door jam and my mom got stuck in there.
This hotel is clean, easy to get to/from, located close to The Strip and is pretty quiet. There is a good bar and the restaurant good and service are good. The rooms are pretty standard but that's not a bad thing.
I love the SPG chain, it's near to strip(0.7 miles from bellagio) , near to liquor store, unlike other hotels in vegas this hotel rooms have mini fridges, complementary water, complementary hd tv.. The SPA and fitness center is also very good. The dining options including breakfast, lunch buffet and dinner are.great.
For the money I'm spending per night, you would BELIEVE that a 4-star Hotel & Resort would have more updated rooms and bathrooms. Bed looked like someone slept in it. Pre-paid for my stay, THEN told when I got here that there was a DEPOSIT plus RESORT FEE . Yes, there IS trash behind the dresser/desk, dust, missing grout in the tub area, old pillows that are flat and sink the moment you lie on them, the mattress was a bit too firm, but nice overall. The view? The cooling/heating system behind the hotel & parking lot. The 4 stars??? Oh, well that's for their attentiveness, customer service was exceptional, and they were super accommodating by allowing me early check in no fee! Now that I know what this place is all about, I would definitely stay again! Next time I'll bring my fur babies! (They are a pet-friendly hotel) oh, and you would NEVER know there were animals here unless you saw them; the place smells WONDERFUL!
Great hotel room and stay. The only disappointment is that the have gotten rid of their casino but not all of their information online is reflective of this. Would have been a 5 star stay had we known that and did not need to have last minute found a casino.
Great!!!! Good vibes in the lobby. Bartenders were wonderful. Spoke to Keith(the GM) he has lots of knowledge of the hotels history. I recommend this just of the stip hotel for a relaxing stay
The Westin is a very nice hotel. I would rate it a solid four stars. It is not up there with Caesars or Wynn, but it is a great place to stay. I would probably prefer to stay in a hotel with a casino, but honestly they were all booked and I am still enjoying my stay here because you are still right on the strip
The rooms are very good, very nice, the pool is undoubtedly a good place to rest, and going to the spa is very good if you are sick, I liked the lobby a lot the people who work at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, apart from the price is affordable, not that expensive
Nice hotel, firm mattress, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. Little perks like a lavender and chamomile essential oil roller for sleep, bathrobe in the bathroom, coffee pot and mini fridge. Quiet.
Parking is not free for visitors, when other properties around are. Really Las Vegas is gone to hell with the new "mob" corporations that run it. Long gone are the good days of Vegas.
*****caution*****please read before you stay here. This hotel is only getting 1 star because you have to give at least 1 to place a review. Our room was clean. The hotel seems nice. However, my wife's purse was stolen from the room while we slept!!! There must be a scam with key cards. How else does one get into your room. I noticed a lot of noises with the door handle being jiggled and key cards used on the door but I thought it was just people getting the wrong room. I was very wrong. The intruder came in, took my wife's purse and then left the door open so to not make the loud shutting noise, I presume. My credit cards were hit, our passports, social security cards, checkbook and my wifes drivers license is gone. If that's not bad enough...the hotel manager, security officer and staff did not even apologize. They have not returned our calls. There are no cameras in the hallways and for these reasons I hope no one stays here. ***Btw Got a response from the owner after this post and it said they were glad they could assist us. Could the owner please respond back with exactly how he\she assisted us!!??
One of the few hotels on the Strip without a casino, which to me was a plus. Just looking for a place to sleep after going to Death Valley. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Nice strong shower. Good sized room.
We flew into Vegas as the starting point of a road trip, staying only one night. We arrived before noon and planned to just hover around the city until check-in, but we were exhausted. With nearly four hours to go, we walked into the Weston and asked if we'd be able to check in way early, and to our surprise it was not a problem at all. Great service!
This is an awesome hotel with reasonable price and amazing staff. Joseph S @front desk during my check-in treated me so well, made sure my reservation issues were resolved promptly and to my satisfaction. Joseph is extremely professional at his job and seemed like a Manager of the front desk!
Great extensive breakfast buffet. Very quiet and friendly hotel. Big comfortable rooms. Extremely close to the strip, glad there is no casino or smoke in the hotel :-)
Currently remodeling and quite disruptive in experience. Hotel is a classic Westin format and experience. If familiar with the Westin, then generally the same.
Being a little of the strip was fine, has a big Starbucks right inside. Rooms are spacious. You can just tell it's getting old. Of all the elevators only 2 worked, that was annoying at times. The bed was not comfortable and all the finishing were really showing the test of time.
I agree with David, below. If don't care too much about gambling, but rather want a nice quiet stay and still close to the strip this is a good choice.
Under construction right now. The elevators for the parking garage weren't working for the 4 days I was there. The hotel elevators need a key and only let you go to your floor.
We have stayed here on a number of trips to Las Vegas. We are huge fans of the Westin hotels in general, especially the fabulous Heavenly Beds. We like the fact that the Las Vegas location is just off the strip as we don't come to town to gamble. (They did have a small casino here but I have heard in response to this review that it has since been removed.) It's about a five minute walk over to the Strip at the corner where you have Caesar's Palace, Bally's and Bellagio. Going just slightly the other direction you end up at the High Roller and all of the restaurants over there. They have a nice outdoor pool and a good gym.
