Orangewood Church, PCA is a vibrant community of believers located in the heart of Maitland, Orlando Florida. Our church is committed to sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ with our local community and beyond. We believe that every person has a unique purpose and calling in life, and we strive to help individuals discover their God-given potential through meaningful worship services, Bible studies, fellowship opportunities, and outreach programs.
Our History
Orangewood Church was founded in 1969 as a mission church by the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Over the years, our congregation has grown significantly as we have welcomed new members from all walks of life. Today we are proud to be one of the largest PCA churches in Central Florida.
Our Beliefs
At Orangewood Church, we believe that salvation comes through faith alone in Jesus Christ. We affirm the authority of Scripture as God's Word and seek to apply its teachings to every aspect of our lives. We also hold fast to traditional Christian beliefs such as the Trinity (Father, Son & Holy Spirit), sinfulness & depravity of man; justification by faith alone; sanctification; resurrection; eternal life etc.
Our Worship Services
We offer two Sunday morning worship services at 9:00 am & 11:00 am which are identical except for music style - traditional hymns at 9am service while contemporary music at 11am service - both services include biblical preaching/teaching from our pastors who are well-versed with scripture knowledge & application skills.
In addition to Sunday worship services ,we also offer mid-week Bible studies for adults on Wednesday evenings where you can grow deeper into your understanding about God's word while connecting with other believers.
Our Ministries
At Orangewood Church Maitland Orlando Florida ,we have various ministries designed for people from all age groups including children's ministry (nursery through fifth grade), youth ministry (sixth grade through twelfth grade), men's ministry/women's ministry/senior adult ministries etc., which provide opportunities for spiritual growth & fellowship within respective groups .
We also have several outreach programs aimed at serving those around us who may be struggling or need assistance such as food pantry program where we distribute groceries weekly basis ; homeless shelter support program where volunteers serve meals once per month ; prison/jail visitation program where volunteers share gospel message with inmates etc..
Our Community Involvement
As an active member within Maitland/Orlando community ,we participate regularly in various events like city festivals/fairs/parades etc., providing opportunity for us connect with people outside church walls .We also partner with other organizations like Habitat For Humanity /Salvation Army /local schools/churches/non-profits etc.,to make positive impact on society around us .
