The rooms are really dated but comfortable and clean. The drain in the shower struggled to keep up. I'm sure I'll be back due to proximity to SFO but it would be nice if they could freshen up the rooms.

The only positive: The gym uses state-of-the-art equipment, has plenty of fresh towels and water.

The pool is separated from the lobby by large glass windows, and felt like an exhibition for incoming/outgoing guests. Maintenance may have been overwhelmed / understaffed. The shower flooded due to a clog in the tub. Maintenance came and fixed it, pulling a large amount of hair from the drain (my wife wisely decided not to take a bath). Then later, the shower head started to have a leak, which ran through the night and remained unfixed. The phone had a continuous loud buzzing static sound that drowned out the conversation when calling room service, housekeeping, concierge, etc.

As far as we know, renovations have been going on for a long time. I stayed in a renovated room, but I think that the water surroundings have not improved much. Bed comforters are heavy. As the airport is in front of you, some rooms have a good view of the airport. Shuttle bus with airport is frequent and convenient. Wi-Fi is charged.

Comfortable. Not close to food options necessarily, but has an after hours menu; most of the menu was available... and the service was good/great. You can go to the airport and take the shuttle or go to the BART Millbrae stop and walk about (mas o menos) 10 minutes to the hotel. The shuttle from the airport stops in the middle banks/zone and does indeed take anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes (They dropoff at the other hotel ALOFT, too). The shower drain was clogged, but the shower was stocked with everything and the stay was comfortable. I would stay there again.

It's a good comfortable hotel for a short layover if you need to be near the airport for your flight. Covid has definitely changed the dynamic of the traveling industry for now . It has a cool little park upfront for working out and walking since the gyms were closed. They try the best they can to accommodate your needs despite of the current events. Good location, is close to the New England Lobster and eatery. Great sea food there. Or in and out which is the signature of California visitors.

The room was clean, quiet and spacious and everything worked well. The staff was friendly and relatively efficient. Overall, it was what you d expect. It has a free airport shuttle as you d expect for an airport hotel.

Had a very present stay here, it's one of the best airport hotels in SFO with a great proximity to the terminal building, if informed in advance you could even be arranged a pick up and drop service to your designated terminal , I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay , even if it's a short layover , or may be for days .

I stayed in this hotel for single night, but my experience was good. The hotel crew was very professional and helpful, the room was cozy and elegant. The view from the room 655 wasn't the best one, despite its position on the sixth floor, but I think that other rooms may have a better one. The airplane noise from the airport it's audible, but not annoying. I would probably come back to this hotel, if needed.

The Westin San Francisco Airport falls squarely into the category of a good, not great hotel. The location is convenient, which makes getting in and out a breeze. The staff is friendly, which mostly makes up for the fact that the rooms are a bit dated, the restaurant is mediocre, and some of the gym equipment picks and chooses when it wants to work. However, all things considered, I think this Westin is a pretty good value for the Bay Area, and I'll keep staying here due to its proximity to the airport and my work, as well as the fact the SPG loyalty program cannot be beaten.

I ve stayed here for a number of times now whenever I visit SF. It s really close to the airport and it s close to the freeway 101.

I also like the fact that it is located close to the city of Burlingame, there are good restaurants near by.

Over night Self Parking is available but a bit pricy. And I ve noticed space is very limited on the weekends and it s really hard to find parking space later at night.

It was a good hotel with a nice bar. The small gripes are the fact you have to pay as much as you do to have Wi-Fi for the night, I didn't realize that was still a thing. Also, no options for a cheap breakfast. I guess it was too upscale in those departments for an average Joe like me.

Being that the cost of getting a room in the city of San Fransisco for a weekend was out of the question with the prices they re asking. I looked here as an alternative and I am glad I did. This place is very family friendly offering an indoor pool and jacuzzi that is open late which let the kids tire out in it before sleeping. I saved a lot of money coming here. Travel from here to San Francisco was a breeze. I will definitely be coming here again when visiting the city.

Having missed our flight home due to weather, we stayed here. Wonderful hotel with divine beds. Day tour with Curly (driver with the service at the hotel) which was fun and interesting. Perfect way to see the city in less that 24 hours. Highly recommend doing a day trip with him.

Location is convenient for the airport, though not right next to it, you still need to uber there or use the shuttle provided by the hotel. Rooms are definitely smaller than most other Westin locations, and elite upgrades seem to be limited to the "preferred floor" - identical rooms to the others, just one floor up. The common areas are nice, though the hotel does seem a bit worn out. The biggest problem however is parking, with a virtually mandatory valet service that costs 40$. I was forced to use it even for a very short parking of a couple of hours, and with that additional charge, the hotel is definitely not worth the price.

Attended a work even in the Westin Ballroom. The room was spacious and met our needs. It was a bit chilly. Lunch and wine and snacks were good. The service was great and the location was convenient.

Was at the Westin for a company event. Everything was super clean, neat, and tidy. Parking was a bit of a pain but that can't be helped. Didn't stay overnight so I cant speak on the rooms. Overall from i experienced 5 of 5.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now. The first time was fine, except they forgot any shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles in my room. When I requested foam pillows instead of the unsupportive down ones, it took about half an hour to deliver and the pillows were the same as the ones I already had. So I had to wait to go to sleep for nothing. The second stay, I asked for foam pillows this time and was informed that they are too busy to send me any, and that I cannot come down to get them myself because the room is locked. This is ridiculous. Additionally, the room I was assigned is right next to the elevator machine room and makes a good amount of noise about every 5 minutes. I do not recommend staying here.

I was scheduled to stay at this hotel for just over a week. Upon arrival I paid the full amount of my hotel stay by debit card (just shy of 2 thousand dollars) and provided a credit card for incidentals. The next business day, it became evident that the hotel had placed a 5 business day hold on my funds, and then ran a number of additional charges through on my card, which I was explicitly told would not happen. When informed of the issue, the hotel did absolutely nothing to make it right. They fully admitted that it was a clerical error on their end that resulted in the issue, but ultimately this hotel held onto almost 2 thousand dollars, in additional to the 2 thousand dollars I already paid for my room. They also placed a 700 dollar hold on my credit card for incidentals. I was hit with numerous NSF fees. I was assured I would receive a call back from management, and almost a week later, I have had no calls.

As a result of this hotel's admitted error, I was left scrambling to come up with an additional 2 thousand dollars after having just moved here cross country. A horrible experience with an even more horrific follow up. Categorically unacceptable that a hotel can inconvenience someone so much as a result of their own admitted error, and yet do nothing to follow up.

The reason I chose 5 stars is because of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and the location to the airport. Eating at the restaurant and room service was much more expensive than I thought it would be, but perhaps, that is just the prices in San Francisco. But like I said the staff was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating but they do charge for even the smallest of items. Our waiter and host in the restaurant were amazingly kind and definitely tipped my original 4 star rating to a 5 star.

Two stars for two reasons. 1 - Housekeeping comes around 8am and uses the key to knock on every door. If I am checking out then a) checkout is at 11 or noon b) I go to the front desk and will Check-out. 2 - Housekeeping or some wired guy knocked three times around 10am and then opened the door. Did *NOT* wait for me to answer and then said sorry sorry and closed the door. I could hear him do this to other doors after ours. What if my child was naked coming out of the shower? Or my wife or myself? NO THOUGHT or maybe that is what they want to see!
(otherwise I would have given them 5*)

The Westin SFO : rooms clean and comfortable, in room nice robe, wine glasses and bottle opener; on site atrium pool and jacuzzi are nice, on-site restaurant dinner and buffet breakfast well-rounded menu and delicious, very quiet and couldn't hear planes, some noise through connecting door to adjacent room, bathrooms show a little wear in paint, flooring and counters but have new fixtures; staff very courteous and helpful.

Arrived there at 1:30am with a reservation. The staff said "sorry, we're overbooked, no room for you". Incredible. Receptionist then casually mentioned that it happens to them 2-3 times per week. So: stay away, unless you enjoy sleeping on couches.

Horrific experience. I booked travel for work, and 5 days before my booked stay had a change in plans and needed to cancel. I m simply trying to be refunded for the trip I cancelled well in advance, and have now called the hotel 3 times. Each time someone assured me someone will call back the next day, and obviously that hasn t happened. Will not be booking here in the future if it s this hard to connect with someone.
