Nice hotel and restaurant. Bathrooms are tiny, but overall, a quality place to stay in the area.

Very nice location for our Toastmasters conference with more than 250 attendees. Conference rooms were accommodating to our needs. Guest rooms were reasonably priced. The rooms were nice but we were only offered one king sized bed per room. Many conferences offer two queen beds to allow for comfortable room sharing. They do not have valet parking but they do have very helpful bell staff and FREE parking. Cateri g staff were efficient. Good food. Great location for visitors to the area. Wonderful conference location.

Supposed to be 4 star hotel. I went to my room and is a joke compare to other hotel. This hotel should be 2.5 to 3 star.

I was highly satisfied with this hotel except for one incident that I was not very happy about. I was there this past weekend for my bachlorette party and one of the girls I was with was not feeling well at all. We had been at the pool all day so she asked the waitress for a glass of water and she replied "We are not allowed to give you water unless you purchase something" I perked up real quick and couldn't help but think what if she was dehydrated and was about to pass out? That is a liability to the hotel! My friend politely looked at her and just said okay but, I on the other hand was not a happy camper. She was feeling ill and was in the sun for about 4 hours and could have really used just a little glass of water. We decided to order some food about 20 min later and the waitress was no where to be found for a good 30 min so we had to walk inside to get a menu and even after we looked over the menu and decided on something she was still no where to be found for a good 15 min after that. Very please with everything else though! Rooms were clean and front hotel staff was nice. It's a shame however that the hotel is a little money hungry that giving someone a little glass of water (since it's free) was a big deal without purchase of a meal.

Such an odd experience to essentially have the whole hotel to myself when I'm so used to it being packed with people. It was a little reminiscent of a Steven King novel minus the snow, hedges, and hauntings......

Came for a week long business trip. Very comfortable room. Nice pool area. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Magnificent lobby and beautiful rooms. High class support clean. Great location and very safe.

Such a beautiful facility effected by the pandemic. There is no maid service to clean the rooms. You have to retrieve your towels and linens from the front desk if you're staying more than 1 day. No fitness center on the weekends and the pool closes at 5:00p. There are no microwaves in the "suites" so your room is now only convenient for cold drinks and sleeping. The 1 very small microwave is located off the lobby for public use. So how often is it cleaned? Again, a beautiful hotel but not well planned out for customer convenience.

Best hospitality I ve had! Better than the service at The Ritz. Rooms were clean, bright and spacious. The front desk staff were amazing, courteous, accommodating...I seriously can t say enough good things about this hotel.

Customer service is always perfect and of course the beds are amazingly comfortable. I must say the room service is to get fastes I've ever seen.

The staff is super nice and they put on a nice face for the hotel. Unfortunately this Westin is very dated and borderlines on corporate dump. Many years of heavy use and then lack of maintenance have clearly affected this old lady. The bar is a joke with poor lighting and unpainted walls, not a place to meet customers for a quick drink before heading to Los olas Avenue for dinner. The internet is terrible , super slow and frequently reboots requiring regular logins of your passcode. It was nice at one time but cannot be recommended anymore.

Rooms were a little dirty. The wedding party we were with got screwed out of a lot of things they were promised. There was no fan in the bathroom and the hairdryer didn't work. Beds were huge, but a little hard.

Just the pool area is a little to noise because the hotel is close to the highway.

For starters its not a 4 star, it might have been a decade or 2 ago. But currently the rooms are not better than a 2 star. Looks like they are renovating, but while booking it doesn't say anything about that. Until the renovation completes the rating has to be reduced from 4.

The carpets are dirty and old, the towels are yellow not white anymore, the shower handle was broken and leaked, the sink was broken. The air conditioner doesn't push air to the entire room, there are uneven hot and cold zones. The window curtains couldn't be operated as the handles were broken.
Drilling and hammering, not letting the little ones sleep.

No valet, nobody at the bell desk to help with luggage.

On the bright side, the lobby is well maintained, breakfast is good. The rooms are big.

Good location, comfortable, clean room with great view of the city. Excellent service from friendly staff.

Staff helpful. Plenty of parking. Pet friendly, with treats and tennis balls for dogs.
Room comfortable with a small fridge. However, small details such as dust on surfaces that are not used regularly suggest that the rooms may not be cleaned carefully between guests.
Pool has depth of 3 to 5 feet. Great for swimming. Not great for small children. But whole hotel is geared towards meetings and business travel. Hot tub had a low water level and looks like it needed maintenance.
On the down side, there is no concierge lounge. Elevators are slow. There is no cocktail menu. Food was good and staff worked hard to meet cooking and dietary preferences. However, wait staff varied widely in attentiveness and skill.

I arranged for a Birthday Surprise to be delivered for my husband and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful Thank you! Clean rooms, nice pool, I slept like a baby and that what s matters. I hope to come back again.

Fair for the price. However reached out to Westin online prior to arrival to determine what items could be sent to a room as a surprise. Never received a response from the hotel. Followed up, no response from Westin at all. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time will stay away from Westin s.

I love the customer service it was great the hotel kinda needs an update the water runs all night and that kind of bothers me but the customer service made up for it in the vegetarian food was gross

Beautiful, sophisticated and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The location is good. The elevators take a while. The accommodations are well appointed, large and comfortable. I want to go back! Parking is not great but caters well.

My wife and I had a great time here. We stayed 5 nights. Great service! Clean spacious rooms! Bar and restaurant downstairs is awesome. Good food and service! If your staying in the Ft Lauderdale area, I highly recommend this hotel.

Seemed like the elevators took forever. Restaurant was extremely expensive and no other places within walking distance. $17 for each person will get you a continental breakfast. Sweet deal. Apparently, if you decide to go green by reusing towels, that means no housekeeping at all. No replacement soap, shampoo, coffee, tea, beds don't get made or floors vacuumed. It's like you aren't even there. Oh yeah, when they say they have $5 drink specials to celebrate the weekend, that means you can choose from all of one drink, no choices, one drink. It's a joke really. Won't stay at another Westin.

I was at a job fair. The hotel is very beautiful and has everything for the needs of its customers.

Great central location in the Ft Lauderdale area, rooms are clean, and the people are firendly.

I was there for a conference and was disappointed in the restaurant hours, had to go elsewhere for lunch. The bar was meh as well, under prepared for the crowd. Only redeeming quality was the iguanas by the pool.

Ice maker on 6th floor didn't work and the elevators were very slow, but overall we had a great experience as far as service.

Air temperature in the room was not comfortable.

Maintenance came twice and they were unable to fix the issue, despite the thermostat being on the lowest temperature (65) and curtains closed a majority of the time the entire week of the stay - the room barely cooled to 74.

They did offer to move us to a different room - but it was too cumbersome after getting settled with 2 pets.

However, Emily at the front desk was very accommodating and a fantastic representation of the hotel staff.

Staff are helpful and friendly. Also room is clean, quiet, and the amenities are great. Plus room service is fast

The beds are awesome!! I was so excited to sleep in their bed!
My biggest complaint is you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway and the housekeeping starts early and are VERY loud (banging EVERYTHING around in the adjacent rooms and down the hall) I am hearing all of this through earplugs!
Don t expect to get any sleep past 7am, I was planning on returning to this hotel in my future travels but because of the paper thin walls I will not

Loved the place. Spacious room. Staff is very professional and friendly.
For an "expresso" lover like me, having the chance to have one after a meal (I'm Portuguese ense old habits die hard) it a kind of the cherry on top of the cake.

Very nice comfortable hotel located in a good place

The jacuzzi Is normally closed at dusk, and worse yet has been broken all week.
Housekeeping forgot us the 2nd day and we returned after 12 hours of hard work to a hot, humid, messy room.
The hot water tap leaked.
The wall panel, removed to fix the hot water, won t stay on the wall.
The face of the safe was fallen off upon check-in.
The fridge emitted a high frequency screech so we unplugged it.
The ice machine in the hall is broken.
The thermostat needs recalibrating.
The elliptical kept ending my workout at 1 minute no matter what.
The tv s guide showed channels but no shows.
AND breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and the staff super kind.

I had a reservation to stay here, but when I arrived at the front desk, they said they have to cancel the reservation due to water main problem. Gave me a list of nearby hotel and turn me away. Really? I understand it's city's problem and it's out of your hand, but that shouldn't stop you from helping your guests. Bare minimum you should have contact your customers and notify them of the situation right away, in this case 1am, drop me an email then follow up with a call 8 or 9 am that morning so I can better react to the situation. For platinum member you could have arrange near by SPG hotels to take over the reservation. Is it that hard to treat your customer right?

Good fitness room. Right by the interstate highway, so noisy when outside at the pool area. Clean, well equipped rooms overall, what you would expect from Westin.

Love the SPG Priority Members floor. Very quiet, clean & peaceful. Room service was very swift & always delicious. I will be staying here again soon.

Very modern contemporary lobby & amenities. Gorgeous location & great rooms. Planning my wedding at this location, as they have excellent accommodations & friendly staff with competitive prices. Give it a look if your planning an event or just want a nice weekend getaway.

Probably the worst Westin property I have ever stayed at! The building and rooms are quite dated. Entered an icy cold, dark room, with funny smelling carpet. The shower had 3 different levera that needed to be pulled in order to get what I wanted - it is a shower, not rocket science! There was dust on the nightstand - come on! 2 stars because the sheets were crisp white and the pillows were really nice. The staff was also very friendly. Still, will not be staying here again.

For the amazing reviews online they are just good. Maybe its a Florida thing but the hotel was nice not anything to bad mouth or rave about.

I only experienced the conference room. It was clean and very suitable for the professional event I attended. Ut was equipped with projector and chairs and tables for presentation.

Very noisy. You can hear everything from one room to another and what happens in the hallway. They are also in the process of remodeling and there is noise from drills and hammers throughout the day. A nightmare if you have to rest for the day.

We went and had an event for Stella and Dot at one of their ballrooms with my wife. Great service at the Westin, look forward to going back there again!
