Excellent service, especially from Brazilian Amanda! Clean hotel, great bed, great space, nice pool, restaurant ok, front desk fast and polite. The location is a bit far from the beaches and for those who like to walk from the hotel to get things done, but as our purpose was to purchase our baby's outfit, it was excellent even in that aspect. Much better than staying in Miami!

Was disappointing. The drains in the sink and tub were terrible. The coffee machine is terrible. Cooling system didnt work properly. The decor in the room was very displeasing overall. It looks like they truly need to do a renovation at this hotel.
Check in that was interesting. We had to go to a computer to get a room and that didnt work they were able to work around it. Staff was great.
I wouldn't stay there again.

Bad first impression-As soon as I came through the door the staff of all female's where deep into their conversation and acted as though I was being rude by needing assistance the obese black girl even looked me up and down and then glared at me.I knew when I left they were making negative comments about me.Westin please do better in the future and hire professionals not high school mean girls.
Great hotel that I come back to time and again when I visit the area. The updates over the years are well done, the rooms are clean and the service is top notch.
3.5 stars. The staff is very friendly. I would avoid their restaurant. The food is ok to poor in quality and overpriced. I would go to kaluz or one of the other restaurant s on intercoastal. They have a small gift shop which is nice if you forgot something. There is a walking trail near by. The cleaning staff are horrible at stocking the rooms prior to your arrival. Every time I've stayed I have to go down stairs as they did not put shampoo/conditioner/etc in room. They always forget half the items. It should have an oil, lotion, bar soap, body was, shampoo, conditioner. I usually get about half the items on the list. The rooms are nicely sized but the furniture is dated and could use an update.

Everything was perfect for my 2 night stay but on the last day in the morning I told the housekeeper not to service my room just leave towels. After leaving for the day i return to the room cleaned as if we checked out and i had personal items missing. The missing items i thought for sure would be waiting in lost and found but after spening 1 hr plus at the front desk all they could say was that they didnt know where my items were and housekeeper in question was off for the rest of the day. They tried to make it seem as if didn't look through my luggage properly I also felt as though I was being treated as a second-rate customer because I had an employee discount from a family member I was expecting to at least be accommodated because it wasn't as if I was being careless it was the simple fact that I directed the housekeeper not service my room and then my items are nowhere to be found and when I spoke with the general manager he basically explain to me what does front desk people told me as far as me waiting on them to contact me back but in but he made the effort to tell me that they were not liable like any other business which rub me the wrong way because I was not trying to make a fuss and act as if I was trying to get over on them or getting anything from them I just wanted to get the bottom of it at that day that would have been nice since the whole ordeal cause me be off my schedule and loose money it was horrible for that situation and I still have not got a call back after 2 days i wouldnt recommend it because they could have made me feel more important so that's where they sell short for customer service
Room was a weird shape. Awkward angles. Bathroom vent had nasty dirt! Ewww! Foot of the bed was higher than the head. Restaurant onsite has horrible food. Fries were reheated and cold. Coffee is cold. Cheese cake tiny and looked like flan. Asked for medium steak...it came out mooing. Room price too high for this kind of quality. Never coming back!
Broken elevators make getting to and from the rooms extremely time consuming.
We just stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was comfortable and clean. The reason for giving this 3 stars instead of 5 was because of our trip to the pool. The entire pool area was dirty. The pool water was dirty, there was trash everywhere and it was just really obvious no one was maintaining this on the day we were able to spend time here. Makes me think, if they are skimping on cleaning this area, are they skimping on cleaning the rooms too?! Also, this sounds petty but it was extremely frustrating- something was up with the elevators and we waited 5 minutes for an elevator one day (there weren't any notices posted that they were out of order). I would have overlooked this as a minor thing if the pool situation had been nicer. I'm just disappointed because usually Westin is usually our go to because they are usually really nice. Finally, come on Westin! We live in a digital age and there were no outlets to plug in electronics without moving the furniture around. Again, a minor thing but frustrating. Next time, we will probably stay somewhere else.

I thought the hotel was expensive for not offering any type of breakfast besides the restaurant. The restaurant wanted $15 for a spinach omelet. The pool was nice. The hot tub was closed down.

We went there for a local retreat and the space had its pro's and cons. It was affordable (though watch out for those hidden fees), and clean, and the staff were kind and respectful. But they also had an entire cruise ship come in and the staff were completely overwhelmed with the volume. The same goes for the bar and the kitchen. The space is definitely big enough to accommodate large groups but I think they have fluctuating volume issues, for sure.
It is convenient being located on a main road. It is close to so many places you would want to go. The staff is friendly and nice. It could be a little cleanser and the TV service is no good. They have a nice large flat screen but the picture is all fuzzy with lines and throughout the TV so it gets annoying

This was an amazing venue for Royal Coils. This is the perfect venue and atmosphere for a convention, wedding or reception. Oh yeah amd bring a piano player for their finely tuned grand piano

Rooms are ok and could use some face lift. Free parking but everyone tries to parking at SPG platinum members parking. Bartender downstairs was very nice. When we arrived at this location, there was a guy sitting outside the main door, drinking Jack Daniels straight out of the bottle and acted like looking for trouble and no hotel staff said anything to him! Probably not the first impression guest wants to see. In our room only hot water came from both cold and hot water tap.

Just wanted to book a room for one night, coming from Orlando, but the representative informed me that what is advertised online is not in fact true. There is no free wifi, no free breakfast, and you have to pay for parking or use the valet.
Odd to say the least.
Check in time on a normal business day is 4pm, we received a call at 7pm stating our room was ready. We were not offered any type of amenity for being inconvenienced. I did request a late check-out which we got but didn't need it. The room was really big and has a refrigerator. Took some getting used to on how to get hot water in the shower. Had our set sometimes at 65 degrees and was quite warm in the room. One guest bad had stains at the bottom of the mattress cover. Nice staff. Elevators weren't working properly either.

We love staying there last week.we spend 6 nights. Me and my boyfriend. We check inn 14 the and got bottle of wine .as a welcome!!.people at front desk are the best crew I have eva know .so friendly and super helpful and nice for sure..food at the restaurant is amazing for sure .and the rooms get cleaned pretty great too.pool is nice and clean .hot top is ok. Beds are litte hard for my taste .and the couch in our room was smelly .they do need to be cleaned for sure !.over all we would stay there again.
We were given the wrong room and we had to move our things twice. When we finally got to the correct room, it was not clean. But, the decor is nice and staff is friendly.

By far, the worst stay I have ever experienced at a Westin Property. The lobby area as you walk in was amazingly beautiful and clean. Wish I could say the same about the room. From mold in the shower, to rust on the sink, to makeup stains (I hope) on the comforter, I was very unsatisfied with the room. Add in waking up late because the front desk clerk did not put in my wake up call, and no hot water to take a shower, and you can see the issues piling up. When I reported these issues at check out, the friendly desk clerk smiled and said "Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Can I offer you 3000 points for your troubles?". What???? 3000 points? Are you kidding me? Really? My suggestion is stay clear of this hotel and stay at a newer property, closer to the beach. They only getba single star, and thats just because the initial desk clerk at check in was so nice and helpful.

Okay, but not fabulous. Room wasn't ready when I arrived. Hotel isn't refined ... Looks like very cheap contracting / construction work. Doors, bathrooms, elevators, etc. The cost of this hotel doesn't justify the lack of quality.
Bar doesn't offer any draft beer, and lacks good selection for bottles. Food took too long, order wasn't correct, and they only gave me 3 medium-sized shrimp for a $19 pasta dish.

Nice hotel but we had a wifi outage for hours & renovations going on near us. Overall it was a decent hotel in fort Lauderdale, good highway access if you have a car
My family and I had an excellent stay at The Westin Ft. Lauderdale. The location is very convenient since it is just off of the I-95 and the airport is less than 20mins away. There is a restaurant and convenience store/gift shop on-site that both contribute to the convenience. No need to leave if you're looking for relaxation. We'd definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Very disappointing that a 4 star hotel can look like this! very dated rooms, black mold in the pool, bathroom by pool smells horrible aswell as pool area smells like dirty sewer water, just look at the pictures that i have posted.
I am reposting same review because for some reason Google erasing the bad pictures with the mold in the pool and living 1 Normal picture which is one of several pictures that I posted I have tried many times to reload the pictures and it's good for a few minutes and then the pictures are erased I'm very disappointed by Google I couldn't even find a customer service phone number for Google

The customer service is non existent. Sent six emails to the general manager and left four messages- it s been over a month and have not received any response. Would not stay here again- construction on every floor - 7 days a week.
