One of the best hotels in Beijing with English speaking staff, the rooms are well maintained , elegant. Higher floor rooms have a nice view of the city. Most of the rooms have a bath tub with 24/7 hot water supply, coffee/tea makers, mini snack counter/bar. There are couple of restaurants, bakery , gift shop within the hotel. The staff is very courteous, happened to lose my room entry card once, the staff replaced it immediately without any questions.

This is not my first time at the Westin and would check in again. For me close enough to the office and only 20 minutes to the airport.
There is seldom anything to complain about in the category and if it is, it is quickly turned off and excused several times. The Asians are way ahead of the rest of the world.

Had a very poor experience here. Went for a 'staycation'. The hotel room wasn't ready for sometime after we arrived (circa 3pm). In addition, on leaving some hawkers were trying to sell us tea at the door to the hotel. Just the thing our stay was designed to avoid.

On emailing to show our displeasure with the service, the person replying told us we should have told them the time while booking in advance (We did, two weeks in advance) and she questioned the validity of our claim about the man hawking tea.

After later receiving a non-apology, the girl offered us an upgrade on our next visit. An upgrade to the same room that we already were entitled to.

Hugely dissatisfying.

I stay here all the time and it is nice when stay recongize you over and over again. James from the concierge team always goes above and beyond to ensure and excellent stay. He helped me try to track down my Bose headphones and Samsung Tablet I left on my Air China flight from Hangzhou to Beijing. He was able to call right away for me and checked up every day to see if they found them. The hotel staff are friendly. The business lounge has great views of the city. They have also noted a suite upgrade on my account since I am a very frequent guest and a Lifetime Titanium Elite Member.

First time staying at this hotel so I went with blind expectations. The experience was good, but the pool was unavailable for a couple of weeks. The lounge was just ok and I was surprised that the offerings were similar to the Renaissance, if not a tad bit lower in quality. I heard that my friends who were staying here had a bad time with the service here as well. There are a lot of options in Beijing in terms of Marriott hotel brands... I've stayed at the Renaissance, W, and Westin now and the Westin is probably my least favorite of the three, but not by a lot.

EDIT: Came back to this hotel for its convenience and was blindsided by the terrible service. I had checked into the app two days prior to arriving with an estimated arrival time of 2:00pm. I arrived at 5:00pm due to a late flight and upon trying to check in, they initially told me that I had to wait two hours. TWO HOURS. I laughed at the ridiculousness of that statement and requested for a manager, who was able to check me in within 40 minutes. No upgrade. Just coffee for my wait. My colleagues had similar issues and from what I heard from staff, they said they overbooked by almost 20 room! How do you do that and expect Titanium members coming back? I'll be looking for another hotel next time I'm back in Beijing.

Pretty nice hotel, it is newer that the Marriott Northeast and offers some better view. The price is almost equal.
The lounge is bigger and has more seating, so in the evening it is less hassle to find a place to sit. But the Marriott Northeast does offer cocktails mixes by the staff, here you have to do them yourself.

The room (I got upgraded to a corner room) was really spacious with lots of windows and lots of daylight. It was tasteful decorated and the bath was huge too.
One quite negative thing (at least for me):

The bed-sheets and duvets are made from Polyester (or whatever else plastic stuff), which will acquire an electric charge with movement and friction. This leads to having little electric shock during the night when moving in the bed. It is not really convenient at all.
For a 200 /night hotel I'd expect at least cotton or linen for my bed.

Finally the bed was made with one thin sheet and two duvets, which is totally inappropriate.

At the end of the day it is a good hotel with nice staff and located in the middle of Chaoyang. Except for the bed sheets it is well recommended.

Very disappointing for a reputable hotel. Despite early reservation of the room including baby bed, no baby bed was available on the day of arrival. Staff did not point this out at check-in, despite a request.

When asked, there were no suggestions for a solution or no examination offer as to whether a baby bed was available at least for the second night. On the second day we had to have a long discussion with the check-in staff, only then were other connected hotels asked about our advice.

Service at breakfast ok; Choice of food in other hotels but better (for example Nuo, Hilton, Hotel Jen). When asked for children's cutlery, we received a plastic fork like for take-out meals. Unfortunately not suitable for a 15-month-old child.

I stayed in a deluxe room for a total of 32 nights.
*Room condition is not bad. It was kept neat throughout the stay and the interior was reasonably beautiful. However, mold was seen in the moisture at the air conditioner entrance, and the door of the cabinet closes well and does not open.
*Breakfast is usually. It is edible, but the type and quality of food is very poor compared to the same class hotel in Korea.
*Employees are generally less and friendly, like in China, but some of the staff are toxic, making them feel uncomfortable. Many of the staff don't even speak basic English, and the staff at the concierge table are very unfriendly and blunt, making even inquiries a bad experience.
*In the room next to the hotel, despite do not disturb, I opened the door and heard an American guest very angry. Most employees press the bell twice during the day and open the door immediately. Cosiness lacking basic response
*Other transportation is convenient as the subway is in front of you, and the entire facility is observant.
*In spite of the many disadvantages, if you have to stay in the immediate vicinity, this is the place with the best cost performance.

Definitely not worth the steep price. Hallways and rooms have a musty smell, breakfast is of sub-par quality and today I had to take a cold shower as there was no hot water. Moving to the Four Seasons.

Fantastic hotel. Staff are super polite, the pool and spa area is great, rooms are beautifully designed, and the club lounge on top of the hotel is an excellent venue to have breakfast while overlooking the city of Beijing.

The room was spacious and the design is high class. However, the service does not really speak English and did not understand what I was looking for. Also the street noise was a bit too much due to poor window isolation.
