We hung out in the lodge at the base of the mountain for the afternoon while or friend was skiing the mountain. The food and beer was quite good. The atmosphere was friendly and the conversation was good.

Snow tubing was fun, but only half the tube runs were open, and only one rope tow was open, which made it slow and had long wait lines. Maybe we should have called ahead to find out things before choosing this hill over the others in the area. The tavern/dining area was nice and spacious with a great view of the ski hill.

Just a great ski slope all around ! ! Great place for the kids to learn and move forward to the higher skilled runs.. Standard covid 19 rules apply.. Can't wait to getting back to putting your boots on in the lodge though... Walking through a huge parking lot with ski boots on is not fun as everyone knows..

We have season passes this year at West Mountain. Our 7 year boys enjoying their 6 week lesson program and they have progresses so much right after 3rd lessons.

Today, we accidentally took the wrong lift and ended up at the summit and we knew our boys couldn t ski down safely at night so we asked help from the ski patrol. Daniel and Scott from ski patrol Immediately offered our boys ride down on their emergency sleds.

The whole experience was great and our boys the happiest that they ride the sled down by the ski patrol.

Thanks Scott and Daniel and to the West Mountain management running a great operation even during this difficult times.

We will continue to support this mountain!

West mountain, this mountain is my home mountain. Last year when it was under the owner of a man named Mike, it was very bad. Bad service, bad prices, bad everything. This year it is under a new owner and from just talking with the mountain and seeing the new website, we can already tell, it's going to be a good mountain and home, once again.

This is a fun place to spend time with friends and family. It's also a great place for exercise. They also have a food court as well as lockers. There are a million activities there such as tubing, skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. It's a great place for children and adults alike.

Absolutely amazing experience at this ski resort! The only issue was that ice formed spontaneously along slopes which caused minor setbacks in skiing consistently. Overall, a great mountain that any skier, snowboarder, or snow tuber would enjoy.

We have never been to west mountain, have a 13 year old we were bringing for tubing, who started to not feel good last night. Called to reschedule or cancel and they do not give refunds unless you provide a dr note ( it s a sky lodge not a place of employment ..). The wind chills is negative 16 and who s going to bring their congested kid?

Will be looking elsewhere to tube in a few weeks

I remember going tubing several years ago and having a blast. So when a group of my friends said we were going to west last night I was excited. That quickly changed when we got on the mountain. There employees on the tubing hill were extremely rude to not only our group, but everyone in front of and behind us as well. We only made 3 runs and left because it wasn t fun to be there anymore. The tubing was NOT work the $27.00 a ticket and they have TERRIBLE customer service.

Had a great time at the mountain! Perfect for a weekend with family and friends!! I went for the first time this week and had a phenomenal experience. There was a good selection of terrain for skiing and snowboarding and also a lot of other activities such as tubing or just hanging out in the lodge. There s a great restaurant upstairs as well as a cafeteria, both of which had a wide selection. I would highly recommend the bread bowl chili in the restaurant as it is perfect for a snowy day on the mountain!

I've been skiing here off and on for 20 years or so. It keeps getting better. Somewhat more terrain than Mountain Creek with about the same vertical. They have lights for night skiing. The restaurant in the base lodge has gotten very good. The lifts are a bit dated in design. Grooming is average.

Attended college ski race in late January but did not ski. Weather was unseasonably warm but the competition group worked through challenges and got two days of racing in.

I liked the upstairs bar & restaurant area and the overall vibe was that of a friendly ski area.

This place is awesome. The staff was wonderful. They really are into teaching you how to use the equipment. They give you a guide. The lift ride up to the top of the mountain was breathtaking. The rope course zipline adventure was the newest on the market. Can't say nicer things about this place. Looking forward to our next trip to lake george so we can visit again.

Night sking was good, many kids because of school groups but lift lines were manageable. Had been a couple times earlier in the season & conditions were icy but overall the ski staff are polite & fun for a small ski area.

The restaurant is a completely different story. The barmaid was the rudest person I have ever encountered. Asked what they had on draft & she couldn t be bothered to even pass the list over & says they are written on the chalkboard. The chalkboard was all the way across the crowded DARK bar & not legible. Needless to say, we will not be wasting money in their bar. We packed up & went to a more friendly establishment. And we are season pass holders. Won t be next year!!!!

And we had a similar experience with rude staff in the restaurant last year. Guess it wasn t a fluke.

First time tubing at West mountain, little expensive for just 2 hours , very crowded, only had time to slide down the hill 4 times. That's 15.00 a slide. Maybe over sold for that time period? Idk just very annoying when waiting long time to have fun. Won't be going back there.

This place was amazing, whether you are a big kid or a little kid, in a group or by yourself, on a first date or a family date, this place will not disappoint. Different levels of skiing, different levels of downhill sledding, wristband passes available that give the holder unlimited use of equipment, including the lifts for the purchased amount of time. Couple hours or a whole day, your call, if opting to stay longer, bring food with you, especially if with any type of special needs. There is a simple cafeteria on sight where all the action is, and that's all he wrote.

Can be great local place to ski and ride , they've really made some excellent improvements the last few years to the lifts, lodges, and trails (more trails, open more often, more trails lit for night skiing).

Grew up just south of West Mtn and have been skiing there for over 3 decades. It has gone through numerous improvements over the years, but the newest ownership has really taken that to the next level. Comfortable lodge, efficient lifts, varied terrain, friendly staff, rental equipment, dining options, bar, snowmaking and lighting for night skiing (which is my favorite time to go). It also offers a tubing area, racing instruction, retail sales and learn-to-ski/board programs. Love this mountain, I'm lucky to have it so close.

We only went tubing- so I can only speak to that. The staff was very nice and helpful. The lift is a little odd to get on, but ok once you've done it. Unfortunately, they have to make it come to a complete stop every time a kid falls over, which is a lot. My five year old went down at the bottom and the top the first time. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars, is that I did not get the butterflies in my stomach going down. :)

Thank you for your prompt response. Just wanted to give my 2 cents .. I ve been skiing west since I was a toddler. My brother broke both his arms here when we were young! I ve seen it all here! It s the perfect backyard mnt but I do think it be in best interest to offer a 2 hr ticket or consistency w/ the Monday/ Tuesday pricing ... back in high school it was $16 ... love the new trails, lifts and bonfire.

Perfect Adirondack Getaway for Tubing/skiing! I live in Ballston Spa, Ny and this was very close for a day of fun for my son and I. They blast classic rock in the air, have plenty of places to rest, get warm food and there is always a bonfire burning! There is a rustic lodge restaurant overlooking the lifts. Prices for food and beverage are what you would expect at any resort, but the selection is nice.
