That's ok I'll share right here for everyone to see. I was involved in a work related accident that left me with permaneant disabilities resulring from a TBI. West Bend was my employers work comp insurance company. They immediately appointed a nurse who called me everyday for months including weekends even though my dr. Put me on restrictions to not use phone so I could attempt to recover from TBI. As soon as they found one piece of dr notations to use against me they ceased all payments and had me attend IME where they said I had no permeanant disabilities. This was over 7 years ago and I am still on SSDI for eye problems that started from this work related incident. I sincerely hope you all burn in hell. Is that enough information for you? Greedy capitalist pigs.

I cannot even BEGIN to sing the praises of West Bend. We had a house fire on a Friday, and before the emergency personnel had event left our property, we had a local adjuster there offering help. That following Monday, we had our "big loss" adjuster traveling in the early morning hours to meet with us. He already had the restoration company scheduled, had an initial check for immediate expenses ... went through each and every section of our policy, and assured us that the "Silver Lining" was there for us. And they so were. More than I could have ever imagined. Over a year later, after problems with contractors, companies, etc., they ALWAYS had our back and made sure problems were taken care of and that things were done properly. They didn't just walk us through the worst time in our lives, they held our hand through all of it. Our adjuster, Joe, was literally a god send, and I'm not sure we would've gotten through any of this without the extreme support West Bend gave us. If you don't have West Bend, kick yourself for wasting money on sub-par companies because you are maybe saving a few bucks, and then find your local agent and sign up with West Bend IMMEDIATELY. Having a good insurance company on your side makes ALL the difference in the world. Thank you Joe and West Bend!!!

Honest, professional, responsive, and fair are just a few words that describe West Bend insurance. If you're thinking of purchasing a West Bend policy... Do so with confidence! While many of my co-workers are fighting for coverage with their insurers, West Bend has by far exceeded our expectations for both the hail storm and the derecho. We hope we never need to file a claim again... But if we do, we're glad to have a policy with West Bend. THANK YOU West Bend!

We use West Bend as our Workers Comp Insurance carrier. I cannot express just how wonderful everyone there is. No matter what position they are in, or what account they are handling, - everyone manages to help out and make sure your needs are fulfilled in a timely and effective matter. I can't say enough good things about their customer service. Truly fantastic!

Less then one star. Was backed into by one of West...

Less then one star. Was backed into by one of West Bend's insureds and opened claim. Went for estimate, waited for them to get a hold of their insured for two weeks (sounds like a pattern) and was finally told that we should go through our own insurance IF we have coverage and want it resolved quickly. Then told they are claiming it was our fault and they have damages (none at seen of accident) based on their insureds word even though the police report and officer agree with our story and said it was their fault. They did not even get a copy of the police report before denying the claim. Was hoping we would be one of the good reviews. Not even close!!

Advise: Take down ALL of your social media content PERMANENTLY before doing business with this company. These social media Nazis may rate you or flat out deny coverage based on what they find. I was denied coverage base on what I had posted. Been in business 31 years and had a total of 2 small workmen comp claims.
I suspect all insurance carriers are engaged in secret snooping through our personal lives now. So its time to LLC up and drop all coverage.

My son's vehicle was rear-ended by a policy holder...

My son's vehicle was rear-ended by a policy holder for West Bend Mutual. I am not a policy holder from West Bend so I was put in contact with Claims Specialist Laura Henning to handle our claim. My son was not at fault in this accident so I was working with Laura to have my son's vehicle estimated and repaired. I have worked with folks from several insurance companies over the years and I can say without hesitation that my experience working with Laura and West Bend was the best experience I've ever had. Laura was flat out fantastic to work with and made a stressful situation become a wonderful experience. She is the best I've ever dealt with. She helped with a smile through the whole process! Great job Laura you are a tremendous asset for your company!

A few years back, the #leadership at The Starr Group and West Bend Mutual Insurance tapped me on the shoulder to join forces with other top performing #insurance advisors to discuss the future of insurance in Wisconsin. As my term came to an end, I am glad I experienced:

West Bend made it nearly impossible to pay my bill...

West Bend made it nearly impossible to pay my bill on multiple billing cycles, claiming it was my banks problem. My bank then confirmed the payment was processing just fine, then their system was rejecting it.

Finally I changed insurance companies and they sent a final bill. I informed them and faxed proof that they were overlapping my new coverage. They claimed not to have received the proof, not that they need it since I never had a claim. Also, I was paying the fee to be billed quarterly, and they tacked on a years worth of those fees to the last bill I got, and don't want to remove them. Avoid this company.

I just want to pay the remainder of what I actually owe and be done with this company.

They closed my claim (denial) with only a 10 minute phone conversation, without even viewing my house, and before the root cause was identified. Highly unprofessional. I ll be shopping for new policies- which will undoubtedly cost more now that I have a good-for-nothing claim on my record.

this company has defrauded medicare on my workers comp case,thier attorney firm rusin macorowski friedman ltd, along with my attorney whon i fired phil turcy from goldberg wiesman & ciaro,has changed medical records of thier owm ime.i had to fire my attorney margaret a lundahl whom i caught in colusion with a randal stark. theese attories wont give back my social security determination which has payed 100,000,oo. ive lost my career over this colusion. please any one with simular exeriences notify gov, ryan illinois department of insurance, and call illinois state bar and make complaints immediately. im not going to let them get away with this. medicare is our tax dollars not for this company to rape it

I was hit by a driver with West Bend called her agent to make a claim. Everything was going smoothly and they were ready to cut a check for the damages for the repairs on my truck. As soon as I brought up replacing my child's car seat they said that they won't replace it even though it states in the manual to replace the car seat after any type of collision. I asked to speak with her manager and he stated the same thing even after I told him that his driver struck me at 60-65 mph. After I told him what happened he has the audacity to ask me what do I think happened to the car seat in the accident. I don't know I'm not an expert im just trying to keep my child safe. It's sad that this company chooses a few dollars over the safety of a young child.

As for your response it is just a complete cop out. Your way of trying to get out of replacing it. The manufacturer says to replace it after all collisions minor or severe as it could have damage unseen to the exterior. Your glad we're ok this time, but if the car seat fails because of another accident then what? Your company is ridiculous. A joke of an insurance company. I'm sad to see my child's safety isn't your upmost priority as it is mine.

I own a business, I had a horrible event and if the police did not arrive in time me along with 4 other people would have been killed (seriously). had damage in the amount of 1900.00. The claim adjuster that I dealt with was soooo bad he treated my claim as though the money was coming out of his account. I have a seasonal business and I cannot afford 2000.00 in damage, isn't that way we have insurance? Please do yourself a favor and do not buy insurance from this company. They depreciated my claim and cannot pay the window guy and replace my business to the way it was.

I have been a homeowner for 25 years and filed my first claim after a terribly hail storm. Most of the homes in our neighborhood received new roof, siding, etc. West Bend denied our claim and was very difficult to deal with. I know a few other people who have West Bend and they plan on canceling their policy in the near future. Stay away from this company!

Due to scheduling conflicts at the collision shop and the discovery of additional damage and the shortage of parts, my car was at the shop a very long time. Then a heating problem, undetected by the shop, reared its ugly head after I got the car back when the outside temps plunged below zero. Then the heating repair failed 6 weeks later...Agitated? No! It was all handled seamlessly and competently by my representative at West Bend, Jim Seidenglanz. Thanks Jim :)

I would give it 5 negative stars if I could Terrible never been treated worse first my car is parked in a parking lot then gets hit bad in the back then I didn t even receive a phone call for right around 40 days then they tell me it s my fault I didn t send interior photos when the inside wasn t even affected Or I didn t even know they wanted photos of anything besides the damage then they offer me bottom dollar for my car and decide it s a total loss so I lost thousands of dollars on the deal then 6 weeks later I m told I could send in all the receipts from my the work that has been done on it I don t know why I didn t receive a call a day after the accident or a week instead took 6-7 weeks to even hear from them what I had to provide them to get payed unbelievable I m confused why I ve spent 20 hours on the phone going to get estimates from there estimator then they told me that there estimator in Neenah doesn't know how much the car is worth he never should have told me that info because he must be wrong when I have the estimate for 3000 more than they will give me for the car when that s there guy they told me to go to and now he must be wrong

Hello this is Crystal and I just wanted to say just what a blessing West Bend Mutual is to me! I love West Bend Mutual with all of my heart! Fantastically Beautiful Building and so many nice people there! They are the most professional people I have ever met and also they have gorgeous paths for walking outside! Best work place ever! It has been an honor and blessing to have been able to work here at West Bend! The job I had was cleaning windows and such. I loved it more than any thing! I just want every one to know that West Bend Mutual is the best place Ever!! Thanks for everything, it was the greatest blessing of my life!

Denied a valid claim. Then, when presented with further evidence (video) in regards to the case proving the insured had lied in their statements and I had asked more questions, I was lied to by the insurance company several times and my questions were avoided. Then, my email was blocked. Terrible service, dishonest, and rude. Very unprofessional. Do not use West Bend Insurance unless you like being treated like trash and enjoy being misled and lied to. There is no integrity with this company.

I have had West Bend Insurance for over 10 years a...

I have had West Bend Insurance for over 10 years and have never had a homeowners claim until now. We had the Derecho 2020 come through Iowa and caused a lot of damage in Iowa. My experience from the initial call in to claims and throughout the process has been nothing short of amazing. My claims rep Rachel Wolber has been great to work with. She has been so kind, caring, and responsive. She and West Bend have worked quickly to help me through this process and has also explained things along the way. We are still working through things but I have to say that their service is top notch. Great job West Bend! I hear not all insurance companies are this easy to work with. I will tell my story to everyone I know.

I would have given 0 stars if it was an option. Paid for insurance for years with WBMI then had a house fire and had to battle with WBMI to get reimbursed for replacement of lost items. The fire turned our life upside down for over six months. We were treated by them like we were trying to "rip them off" when asking to get paid back for basic things we needed like clothing, kitchen/household items, etc. We paid for a replacement policy. We expected to get replacement value but instead got low-ball values offered to us for things worth twice as much and they took out a depreciation amount as well. If we wanted the rest we had to jump through hoops to try to get full replacement. Do not pay this company a dime. Find an insurance company that will not treat you like you did something wrong when your home catches fire. Stay far away from WBMI!

While traveling home from Thanksgiving on 11-30-19...

While traveling home from Thanksgiving on 11-30-19 a deer came from literally nowhere and hit our beautiful Prius and it subsequently was totaled.Luckily we were not injured. Except for the person taking our distress call for a tow everyone from the woman who took our accident report to our awesome claims adjuster Alan have been so kind and understanding and have taken such good care of us.This is the first time in 50 years of marriage we have ever had an incident like this.We would highly recommend West Bend to everyone.They made a very stressful time a lot easier.

Extremely fast turn around on an auto loss I had recently. Damage occurred at 10:30 a.m. They had an adjuster with me on the phone by 11:00 a.m same day, photos uploaded of damage by noon, estimate sent in to adjuster by 1:00 p.m. same day, adjuster confirmed estimate by 1:15 pm same day, I had a check for the damages two days later while my vehicle was being repaired. Best insurance company I've ever dealt with in my adult life. Highly recommend!

Never had a claim or late payment in 15+ years. There was a mix up due to a mortgage refinance. No attempt was ever made to contact me. Instead I receive a notice that they are cancelling my policy in 14 days due to non payment. Luckily I have a great local agency who handled the issue as soon as I made them aware of it.

I own two day care center, both our Insured with Westbends Ins. We have been paying for lost of revenue for the past 20 years and never filled a claim. I live in Illinois, Governor Pritzer has MANDATED that all day care center close effective March. I called Westbends to inform them of the mandated closure. Their representative Heather was so rude and loud on the phone she denied me on the spot. I can not believe this company has chosen to rip off the people that have been supporting them for the last 20 yrs. Needless to say I am devastated.

My home and auto insurance has been with West Bend for 5 years. I am so pleased with their customer service, their extras (like money back every year we don't have a claim), and especially their claims service. The adjuster took the time to explain the coverage and why the claim was paid the way it was.

I highly recommend West Bend. They are a great company, they treat their employees remarkably well, and it shows in their customer service.

I have had a terrible time with West Bend Insurance.

It started with the claims Representative. I had been told that they would come out and chalk my roof to properly determine damage which was not done. I also was told by my "Senior Claim Representative" that they would let me know when they would be coming to my house so I could have my contractor there, they just showed up and did their review alone and without notifying me. Basically my representative from West Bend was not only unprofessional and short at times with me but he also was upset that I asked for an Independent Review. He told me the wrong time of the review and I ended up waiting over 1.5 hours for the IR to show up. All in all I can't say anything good about West Bend, in fact, there is no actual Silver Lining.

As a small business owner, I strongly recommend NOT using Bruce Wozny or Lagastee insurance .Bruce sold me a business insurance policy that covered everything . When I had a fraudulent law suit filed by a former employee, I discovered I was not covered. AT ALL! I have since spent over $100,000.00 of my company s money fighting the law suit. I even hired an insurance coverage lawyer and discovered that my claim should have not been denied. Now I have to pursue legal action against West Bend insurance at an additional cost. I trusted Bruce Wozny to be truthful with me and am completely dismayed and disgusted that he lied and sold me an inadequate policy for which I was paying $1500/month. After dropping Lagastee Insurance and West Bend, I was able to find superior coverage at a lower cost.

I work for a restoration company. We clean up after fires, floods, etc., and do the repairing of drywall, flooring and so on. I deal with a lot of insurance companies and I can tell you it has less to do with the insurance company per se, and everything to do with the adjuster. Based on my experience with adjusters in this area, West Bend is the absolute best company to work with. If your shopping for insurance, I'd suggest picking the brain of someone who works at a fire and water restoration company in your area. Or a body shop if looking for auto insurance.

I strongly advise against West Bend for home insurance. A hail storm recently came through our neighborhood severely damaging both of our cars, as well as our roof, siding, gutters, and window sills. While West Bend was willing to cover the car damage, they were only willing to cover a small portion of the damage to our home. I had an initial home inspector come after the storm. He clearly documented in photos damage to our shingles caused by the storm. West Bend s adjuster disagreed, telling me verbatim He s a roofer. He wants your money. This of course ignores the fact West Bend is an insurer that has an interest in avoiding payments, but I let it slide. I did however hire a second home inspector who agreed with the first, clearly documenting damage caused by the hail storm. I was under no obligation to have any damage fixed by the first or second inspector. They were entirely impartial, simply offering their expert opinions. I sent pictures provided by the second inspector (attached) to West Bend who then hired their own inspector. This inspector found damage to our shingles, but didn t consider it consequential enough to be covered by West Bend, the insurance company to whom I pay an annual premium to cover damage to my home. Asking what my course of action was at this point, I was told I could go through a long, drawn-out process to appeal their decision (which I m sure wouldn t go my way) if I were to pay a $1,500 fee.

Very important to note is that at least six other houses in our neighborhood, including our next door neighbor, had roofs replaced by insurance due to damage from the same storm.

Clearly, West Bend has a well-thought-out strategy to avoid covering expensive damage to homes. Do your homework and don t be afraid to pay a couple extra bucks in premiums if you d like insurance you can count on.

A month ago I had an employee at a well-known store accidentally put a ladder through my windsheild. West Bend was their insurer, and this is where the bad times really began. Long story short, they decided I was 50% responsible and would therefore only pay 50% of the cost to replace my windshield. Meanwhile, like a good reasonable person I'd had my windsheild replaced and even found a $40 off coupon to save West Bend some money. When I asked why they put the store at only 50% responsibility, they said it was because of the security video (which they admitted had no audio, which was important in this instance). I asked to see the video. Their reply: "My copy is actually on dvd and we do not share due to proprietary software issues." They wouldn't budge on the 50% thing so I had no choice but to take it, and move on.

Unrelated: A few years ago I was on the board of directors for a nonprofit that could only be insured by West Bend, and it was baaaaad. Super disorganized, couldn't keep the address correct, bills showing up for unusual amounts and nobody at WB knowing what was going on.

CONCULSION: Nobody chooses West Bend for their insurance as far as I know, so I'm not sure how much good a review like this will do. My understanding is they are sometimes the only company that will insure certain types of businesses . I dont know anyone who's been looking at insurance and says "Oh hey, West Bend seems nice, SIGN ME UP, TAKE MY MONEY!"

But if you ARE shopping around for insurance AVOID WEST BEND.

GOUGING CUSTOMERS DURING A CRISIS
I've been with West Bend insurance for 20yrs. I run and operate a childcare center. On Thursday evening one of our parents contacted us to inform us that she had been diagnosed with the CoV19. Friday morning, we closed our center and informed all our parents. I contacted west bends insurance representative and asked them what the process was to file a claim. The representative Cathy Lanier at west bend informed me that for us to qualify for a claim someone at our center had to be diagnosed with the Cov19 virus. I explained to her that one of our parents had been diagnosed. She said we needed proof I explained to her that I would have the parent provide us with that documentation. She then said that there was another criteria we need to meet in order to be able to file a claim. She explained that a governmental agency had to close us down. That Saturday, Governor Prtizer announced that all daycare centers were mandated to closed as of that Monday. I explained to the representative that we met both criteria s and sent her an email providing her with our parents doctors note and documentation of the governmental closing announcement. Yesterday, March 27th, she called me and said that I still did not qualify because the diagnosis needed to be from one of our teachers or one of our children. West been having changed its qualification criteria not once or twice but now THREE times in its attempt to disqualify our center from collecting for loss of revenue.

This business is NOT honoring their contract. This is a hard time for everyone, and they are doing the best they can not honor those small businesses that have been affected by this disaster. My hope is that we can collect on our contracted agreement.

West Bend is not my insurance company. However, I was involved in an accident with their insured. I had to submit a claim to them because I do not have collision on my own policy. I worked with Jim in the auto claims department and although he was gone for a week on vacation (during that period I spoke to a few other claims agents) he was phenomenal with helping. He explained when I asked questions, they paid the full amount for my body damage, and when I was denied a car rental from Enterprise due to my age they found me a different rental at a different company. Everything paid for by WBM. It's been a frustrating a long process dealing with rental companies, body shops, insurance companies... But Jim has helped me make it through. Thank you West Bend!

My car was hit by someone who is insured by West Bend Mutual and it has been over a month of my insurance company trying to get a hold of West Bend Mutual to resolve the claim. They do not answer their phones, they call you back days after you leave a message or they do not respond to messages at all. I feel like they are trying to pull one over on us and trying to not take responsibility for their clients actions. If you are insured with this company I would look elsewhere. VERY UNRELIABLE.

West Bend Mutual is a GREAT insurance company. Their customer service is second to none. I have been insured at all of the big companies with various bad experiences at all of them. West Bend is smaller and they still give you the service and attention of a smaller company when you need their assistance most. My claim was handled in record time and with utmost professionalism and compassion. I highly recommend looking into West Bend Mutual for your insurance needs!

West Bend has been our family's insurance provider...

West Bend has been our family's insurance provider for 8+ years. When our daughter's alternator went and she was stranded, they were there to be sure she received a safe tow. Our son recently was stranded due to the drive shaft on his car breaking and once again, West Bend was there to make the towing process quick, smooth and safe (as a parent, when your children are away at college, it is reassuring to have good insurance and assistance).
In 2017, West Bend processed an accident I was involved in smoothly; making the incident as worry free as it could be.

We have been with West Bend Mutual for 13 years and have paid thousands of dollars of premiums. Last year we had 2 claims for less than $3,000 -- damage to our fence after a major storm; and a cracked windshield. They are not going to renew our auto/homeowners insurance. Driving records for all on the insurance policy are in good standing with no infractions or at fault accidents. DO NOT INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO STAND BY YOU WHEN YOU NEED THEM!

I was hit by one of their clients in my car. Make a long story short, the insurance adjuster called me, and I'm thinking it would be pleasant like Gieco was but man was I wrong. This lady flat out told me they wasn't going to pay for my car repairs, because they called the witnesses! I called the wintnesses and they never called any witnesses. When I asked her to contact my lawyer, that's when she got super nasty towards me. So she lied on witnesses and she's not following procedures by doing a real investigation. I'm going to have a nice time suing this company

Was hit by one of their insured drivers 4 months ago. The other driver was 100% at fault and admidted it. Got 4 estimates from local body shops and sent them in. The insurance agent told me that their adjuster said the damages are about half the cost of all of my estimates and my estimates should not be that high. 4 months later and we still can't come to an agreement on a solution. Meanwhile, my passenger side door still doesn't open, my rear door still leaks water, and my truck is now rusting out where it got hit and chipped all the paint off. Terrible service.

After 20+ years of being insured under West Bend, we have been dropped as customers because we chose to rescue a dog that happens to be on their "bad" list. It's a horrible policy that West Bend has in place. When offering insurance covering dogs, many other companies offer a "one bite rule" or better yet - no rules at all! Those companies clearly realize that each dog is different and putting a label on a specific breed isn't right.

The "data" they have listed on their website regarding dogs is outdated and biased. On their website, they have a link to a page that is filled with hate toward Pit Bulls and Rottweilers. Clearly West Bend supports this kind of prejudice.

We were so happy with our service from West Bend until now. But now that we know about their unfair policies, we're happy to take our money elsewhere and encourage others to do so as well.

Worst insurance company ever! I don't even want to...

Worst insurance company ever! I don't even want to put any stars but it won't let me post this without one. Even though I feel like they don't deserve any. Because they don't care at all about an injured person. I don't have any insurance with them. But I was injured in a grocery store in Green Bay and they are the owner's insurance company. A large piece of metal fell on my foot in the check out line and I sat in the emergency room for almost 3 hours afterwards and thank God nothing was severely injured but that didn't mean I wasn't in pain for weeks. Guess how much they offered for my pain and suffering? They offered a $100 because they said that I didn't have any severe injuries when they reviewed my emergency room record. I was so upset because it took me almost a month to get a hold of the owner of the grocery store and he too didn't care about what happened to me in his store. And I thought that West Bend would've been a little more considerate about my injury and offered a little bit more than a $100 for what I went through. So they offered me $150. I haven't signed the paper they sent me to settle. Because first I'm going to call Save A Lot's corporate office today and let them know what I've been dealing with since June 5th 2016. Hopefully nobody else has to deal with this insurance company like I did.

Last week I woke up with a stolen Audi in my driveway. The 2018 Audi had a considerable amount of damage and caused more than 1500 dollars worth of damage to my vehicle. Not to mention the damage caused by the vehicle driving through my yard and across the driveway on nothing but rims.
West Bend Mutual is the Audi owners insurance company. During my first couple phone calls they were nothing but nice and assumed responsibility for the stolen vehicle. Since the owner left the keys in the car in a less than reputable area. I was told that they would cover all expenses and to have an estimate done and sent over to them.
I had the estimate done and sent to West Bend Mutual. This morning they called me back and told me that they are no longer covering the damage to my property. Not cool West Bend!
Long story short, go with a different insurance company. These guys will smile in your face and throw you under the bus when you need help. Don t believe a word they say. You are not in good hands.

Took them 2 weeks to investigate an auto accident case and I still did not here any from the company. How long do west bend take to investigate an auto accident case?? They sent me a letter saying that they owe me about 2k for an older claim, im in a position where some extra money would help a lot. Contacted them and almost a week later they responded saying oops sorry, we actually dont owe you this money. Maybe you should check your records before telling people youre going to send them a decent amount of money. Are they being honest with your claim? Who knows, doesnt show much confidence to me to trust them to handle finances and records.

I have needed to file claims three times for my F150 truck. Once was vandalism in a parking lot, once when another vehicle hit me, and unfortunately once when damaged the vehicle on a gas station post. Each time I received a quick response to my phone call and arrangements were made for a good quality repair with car rental arrangements. They have been extremely professional with follow-up communication and sending a check for repairs. I also appreciated the advice to make sure the body shop had all parts on hand before letting them begin because this Covid 19 was disrupting the supply from auto manufacturers. West Bend did not want to see the repair extend beyond 30 days where I would need to begin paying the car rental costs. Good Advice. Much appreciated. West Bend is a good insurance company. Never a hassle or any pressure to accept lower quality for lower cost to them. They work well with the repair shops.

Dec 1 of 2018 my small town of Taylorville Il was hit by a ef3 Tornado....I own a used car dealership which west bend mutual carries my inventory coverage and commercial building policy at a premium cost...we were lucky and not hit head on....but we got the HAIL from the tornado....I've been told by Tricia B there so called adjuster on my inventory that there first offer is the best offer and I cant have a say in what is turned into claim? I cant use my other coverage of 50k either that I've paid on for 3 years since it was down the street at old business from 2 years ago that they were suppose to combine with main location when we closed..ive paid the premium for the whole 2 years not knowing and now there saying I'm underinsured and want to pay me 68% of my policy coverage minus 109 deductibles of 500 a car? How is this? Why? I thought insurance was suppose to be there when this happens...not treat people like ther nothing...Now that I want to review my inventory and not except offer they want me to show every receipt for all inventory owned before they settle? Why? Why? They have put my family through mental anguish during Christmas with 4 kids at home and me being sole provider. THIS IS THE MOST DEPRESSING THING I'VE EVER BEEN THROUGH...being the sole provider and owning all my inventory and owning my building at 33 years old and they just forget about the 8k premium I pay on time yearly

I feel betrayed by this company they put me out of business for 3 weeks after storm..right before Christmas with still no compensation that's worth excepting made me wait out of business for a offer of 30k to fix 100 cars ? Ya right I can fix 15 cars maybe and told me that's all I we ever get because were underinsured...I have 200k in coverage which 50k is at another location in town and they will only acknowledge 150k in coverage..I have 220k in inventory but now im deemend under insured because they wont acknowledge ALL MY COVERAGE t.I've felt like they intentionally make me wait while being out of business for 2.5 weeks for a settlement that's a insult to me...my company....and my family...people if you care about your assets, family, your pride then run they have ruined my business, my 4 employees are unemployed, my family had nothing basically for Christmas, and no one really seems to care about the small business owner that has paid his premiums on time with no claims ever. 4 years never late..and 5 other dealerships NEW CAR DEALERS WERE HIT WITH SAME HAIL..it has now been 33 days since tornado came thru my town and needless to say nothing...no agent to see if were ok....no courtesy calls to check on my family around xmas...ide rather sale hail damaged inventory then ever ACCEPT what there offer....merry xmas West Bend Mutual hope your happy with your values you set forth to us small hard working people that dont have much as it is and then depend on you when a act of god occurs...BE ADVISED PEOPLE IVE LOST 200K IN VALUE IN THIS STORM AND HAVE NOT SO MUCH GOT A CHECK UP OR VISIT FROM WEST BEND MUTUAL....GOD BLESS PEOPLE

We switched to west bend for our auto and home several years ago. We pay a very hefty monthly fee due to having 2 kids that are college students. We haven t had a claim for 10+ years. Last week I hit a deer with my 2013 grand caravan. We were told that since it is not drivable, we could just take pictures and they would settle. (Since we couldn t take it in for an estimate) They came back with such a low value estimate forA claim estimate that it was embarrassing. The agent said well they are taking off for high mileage and a bad motor. I understand high mileage but a bad motor????? The motor is fine and runs great. It did have the radiator pushed into it, but the damage is from deer fur and the liquid is from the radiator bring smashed during the incident. The van just can t be driven due to the smashed radiator. What a scam. We are the only owners of the van, and have always maintained it. Sure the van was needed vacuumed out , but to say stuff is wrong with it that isn t and no way to appeal their decision. How can they tell if it has a bad motor. Maybe if an adjustor actually came out in person and started the van, they would know that. A picture should not let them decide a bad motor. I have never been more frustrated with a company. What horrible customer service and what a way to stick it to a valuable customer. They take the absolute lowest value showing for vehicles with major damage (vehicle was average condition before the accident) and then take off more for high mileage and they make up things like a bad motor and deduct that as well.

We had a major house fire. West Bend insurance helped us through everything. Everyone we spoke with were friendly and caring. Losing your home is extremely stressful and heartbreaking but the people at West Bend explained everything from the beginning and helped us find temporary housing, helped us find a contractor, helped us through the claims process etc. We do not have anything negative to say about West Bend. They live up to their motto: "The Silver Lining"!

New to West Bend a year ago and had my first ever Insurance claim due to wind damage. I received a call from my adjuster within a day of filing my claim and an appointment to inspect my roof was done the next day. I was kept informed during the entire process and via the coverage I have the estimate was to replace my traditional shingle roof with composite shingles. Overall very pleased with the service and my experience.

They started pulling thousands of dollars out of my business account without me agreeing to it. The premium was only suppose to be $831 per month then they over 3 different charges pulled over 10k out of my account without my consent. They tried to send the ACH for to their attorney saying I gave them consent to do so. I only signed the ACH form for $831 per month. They just make up charges and start stealing money out of your account. Don't trust them. I've never had a claim with them and paid them over 50 thousand dollars throughout the years.

Deny claims is all they know how to do even after professionals have deemed damage but they are in bed with agents to them. Have had 2 legit claims denied by them, very shady company and hire 3rd party to do their work with no transparency to what the 3rd party submitted to them but obvious not to the homeowners side. They get paid to deny claims and would never recommend them to anyone.

When it comes to workmens comp insurance this is a horrible company. They lost my audit paperwork in September. Then told me i need to redo it. So i had an accountant do it for me and surprise surprise they are telling me i still didnt do it. I foward everything to them from my accountant and there 3rd party audit place back to them. I really wonder what they are going to say now. They called me a liar twice already. Not a good place to do business. Would not recommend this company for anything.

I was hit by a driver insured by West Bend and he admitted fault TWICE at the scene. LoAnn Trudel at West Bend is beyond rude, unethical and denied my claim. The photos I sent to West Bend prove that I was not at fault and that my car was not moving at the time of impact. Thankfully State Farm is ethical and will be fighting West Bend on the denied claim to recoup my out of pocket costs.

Some of the employees were very rude. Overall i deeply regret doing business with this company. HUGE waist of time and money. The News should investigate this company.
