Pros: - The work is meticulous &details are not ignored. Time goes into installing.
Cons: - HORRIBLE communication from both parents (whom we bought the pool from) & daughter (who installs). We were ignored & dismissed. All was fine unless we brought up communication as an important factor to doing business.
-Do not count on install dates.
-Do not count on phone calls for being late or not showing up.
-Do not count on consideration of your time or scheduling of install date
-Instead of doing their job, they threaten w/ refunds & finding another installer
-Instead of doing the job they're paid to do they threaten you w/ doing it yourself or finding another installer thereby voiding your warranty.
-Horrible, anxiety filled experience of having to manage the install instead of simply getting a service paid for long ago.
-Display several professional groups of installers on their website, but they're non-existent. They use high schoolers, albeit who are hard workers, are dependent on parents allowing them to work. You get the daughter for install, no one else who knows what they're doing.
-Scheduled for install on 6/14. Two rain days. Finally filled on 6/19 due to our pressure.
-We were not told about start-up chemicals. We had to go to another dealer to get directions.
-When they re done installing, they bolt.
We put a deposit down in late summer for a pool. We paid in full in February and set up an install date. Our install date came & went. No contact. I called to ask where they were & was immediately yelled at that the weather could not be controlled & due to rain a few days earlier that the ground was too wet. I stressed that letting us know they were not coming would have been the proper thing to do. They said it was not their place to apologize since the install was being done by the daughter & I would have to talk to her about an apology. They dropped the pool off that day. Their daughter came by to apologize & drop off a set up pool for us to fill. She said she'd be back the next day to check the area. It rained the next day, but the young crew cleaned up any pebbles or grass left in the circle. Although it was drizzling, she took the crew & left after lunch. She then came back the next day (Saturday) to cement a few bricks. She said that there was a heat advisory & that she could not work long. She completed most of the bricks & we covered the last few to keep them dry until she returned Monday to finish laying them. Today is Monday. It rained earlier & I texted her to let her know it was raining, but that it was now sunny & warm. Five texts later I've heard nothing from her. It is 11am. I left her a message asking when she planned on being here. nothing. I then texted her to tell her I left her a message. Nothing. They can control their business ethic, their communications w/paying customers. We're highly disappointed w/ the daughter.They are unreliable. I would've paid $1000 more to remove the stress. After 6 text messages of updates & 3 phone calls I finally reached the daughter. I expressed my anger, frustration & issue with constantly having her not show up. She threatened me once again w/ a refund of our install costs, knowing full well that installers are pushed out until August. Basically, you either take me when I want to work or I will just stop & refund you. I told her that she needed to come complete a job she was paid to do. She said she'd come today to work. This is not how business is done. Their biggest pull was, We do our own installation & we thought that was a bonus, but after waiting a week for any work on our pool & being threatened by both the parents & the daughter to simply refund our money we regret spending our money with them. I sent this to Doughboy pools to see what kind of resellers people are dealing with. I did call Doughboy in Arkansas to express our upset with this company & how they treat customers.
After a call to the daughter, she showed up at 1:16pm. The father showed up to help her finish the walls. Very unprofessional. Pool was installed the next day.
