Watergrill RSL Cronulla Review

Friendly staff and good fit out. The food was good, but is a little over priced for what it is.

View was great. Very nice presentation but food was average. Service wasn t the best.

The Staff replied that post and wrote that the Water Grill is contracted and not part of the RSL. I STILL SAY THAT THE FOOD IS THE RSL RESPONSIBILITY.
I was there for 2hrs having dinner and visiting the club NO Night entertainment as stated above. Finally, the front desk staff REFUSED to accept my Qld RSL Membership card. If not for the fact, that we were having dinner for a Friend... I would have walked out of there immediately... Cronulla requested a rewrite.... Sorry, no deal.

Great view to Cronulla beaches. The club is a very nice place. The Flathead fillets is so yummy .

Mixed feelings about the club, ostentatious, food is nothing to speak about, some staff are very friendly while others are hmmm! The upstairs barn area is just that like a barn, lots of echoing noise and it is difficult to maintain a conversation over a meal. It seems the club has major misbehaviour problems judging by the abundance of 'security' people about the place.

my husband and I had dinner at the Club earlier this evening with some friends and The meals were all excellent. However, one of our friends is a diabetic so cannot drink alcohol or normal soft drink. We were dismayed to find that the Club does not serve drinks such as Diet Coke, Diet Gingerale or Diet Ginger Beer or offer any other diet beverages! I feel very strongly that this is very poor customer service, given that many older patrons may suffer with Diabeties and should also be catered for.
Hopefully this situation will be rectified in the coming weeks.

We've recently tried the Abbotsford Rowers Club and it's now become a regular venue as the facilities, food and ambience are amazing, but a bit far for us to travel to, so we thought we try the Cronulla version today at the Cronulla RSL! Unfortunately, it wasn't in the same league. Upon entering the Club, the views, ambience of the club is amazing and looks very inviting, but sadly that's where it ended...I requested a Ginger bear (non alcholic), but nothing in stock, so had a Lemon Lime and bitters which was very nice. We then ordered lunch. The sfaff looked very busy as the Club was pretty much full, so full marks for the quick meals that came out. Sadly our garlic bread was stale. I ordered the caesar salad and it was mostly just lettuce, with only 4 prawns. My husband had the hot seafood platter for one and he said that it was okay. Whilst the club does offer a wonderful and inviting atmosphere, the attendants walking around with the trolleys, filled with plates and spray bottles to clean the tables etc, sadly just brings it back to a basic club etc...It really felt like it was more about quantity rather that quaity for meals in and out...For the price that we paid for the food etc, we walked out not feeling safisfied at all...

As always, clean, bright, amazing views, busting with people enjoying the company of friends and family. But also, you can find a quiet table or nook for a cozy intimate time out to satisfy the palate and quench the thirst & have a little flutter. Fresh & delicious meals, snacks & desserts to choose from and very reasonably priced.
Staff are so eager to please Members, their guests and visitors thus ensuring a very memorable experience. I would highly recommend you give it a try.

Seafood platter. Great value. Hot and cold, very nice. Didn't have to wait long considering it was Friday lunch rush. Obviously great views to accompany the meal.

Great food and service with a spectacular view thrown in for free. A must if you are visiting Cronulla.

Been here a few times. The view is great, however, it is hit and miss with the food. Steer away from the steak sandwich.

I booked Watergrill as my mum's 2nd lunch outing (1st was elsewhere) since she had a massive stroke in May 2020 which has left her permanently in a wheelchair. I requested a window seat for this reason, to make it as pleasant an experience as possible. Watergrill not only gave us a perfect table by the window, but all the staff couldn't have been nicer, constantly saying hello and smiling to my mum. Even the security staff asked if there was anything he could do. The food at Watergrill was really lovely. Mum had a seafood platter for one, I had the barramundi, and my husband had the Atlantic salmon. It was a faultless lunch, and mum can't wait to come back! Thank you so much to everyone at Watergrill x

Not very happy. Over there around 6pm for the sun room. Well the room is an open area in the main part of the club. Very hard to hear to talk. It cost us $300 for nothing.

I love going to the club but the prices are too expensive, yesterday was there for Bingo & Coffee after but a slice of cake is $8 how can you substantiate this amount, you keep saying its Watergril running the restaurant - not good enough get rid of them & get someone else in, the foods not that good.

Love the new renos and staff are great.Food in waterfront was good and a bit pricey but for a good looking club and sea views i dont really care.Keep up the great work guys.PS no more units in cronulla please as its busting at the seams now.

It was ok, staff could do with training on customer service, most seemed bored and had little engagement with patrons.

Nice decor and ambience. Nicer and a bit dearer than your average RSL food.

Great beach view inside RSL, food is not bad. Just bit hard to find parking, its aprking for member only.
