Watergrill RSL Cronulla Review

the staff service in the small cafe downstairs was very disorderly and low-class. however the food was good and the atmosphere was awesome.

We had a Good Friday lunch,
Food was beautiful, service excellent.
Professional, happy staff.
Nothing was a problem.
Made for a very happy relaxed time.

Excellent as always! Requested a window seat and got one. Wanted to share the amazing views of Cronulla beach with my out-of-area guest. Delicious meal and relaxing lounge chairs in the bar area afterwards.

Brilliant. We had a unbooked wake there. Highly recommend. Staff great, food a little expensive but good.

It serves a purpose I suppose if you must go into Cronulla.

The only place I go in Cronulla for a decent feed, view and beer. There is also Pool, Snooker and Buck Hunter in the sports lounge. I've had several birthday events here.

If you want a decently priced beer with an amazing view this is the place. Great atmosphere and awesome views of the ocean while you eat and drink.

The renovation they have done here is awesome. Great place to come with any sized group. Not many cruelty free options to eat here, so i can't comment too much on the food. But the beer always tastes good. The place to have a few beers and check out the view.

Outstanding views, friendly staff, lots of space. Food in main eating area quite pricey (but an excellent space, both inside and out), and coffee shop downstairs a bit dated. However, I'll be back.

We didn't get a window seat but it hardly mattered as the windows are so massive you can still enjoy the water views, doesn't matter where you sit. Food amazing as always, staff lovely and friendly, thanks

Great venue with impressive view and interior decor. Only had drinks, wish I could have tried the food.

The club looks beautiful post renovations and always a lovely view with friendly wait staff. We had the steak special on Monday night and the steak was very dry and unsatisfying. New management also needs to learn a few things about hospitality and customer service, was very rude and abrupt, I even got an eye roll from her when I asked for some gravy.

The Japanese chicken bites were disappointing. The salad was clearly not fresh. The pulled pork sliders were tasteless. The bowl of chips was the best bit. I note the same people have the Kirribilli Club where once again the food is over priced and of an inferior standard. They really need to lift their game. We won't be back.

This was unacceptable service it was the worst dinner ever it took an hour to get our food and gave me the wrong dinner do not go to this restaurant

Overpriced and very ordinary food. I wouldn t complain if I got the same in a Westfield food court for a quarter of the price. The side salad on everyone s dish came with no dressing. Go somewhere else to eat, then go here to drink. It has a nice view. I had the fish of the day and chips for $32. Fish was dry and cat worthy. I could still taste raw potatoe in some of the chips. The queue to get a drink was just over 10mins long.

I booked at Watergrill to have a reunion with two lifelong school friends. We had a lovely afternoon - the best views, lovely food and the staff were so friendly and absolutely amazing. I would definitely return and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing lunch with spectacular views.

We had dinner there on Aussie Day. We both ordered the the Surf and Turf. The steak was cooked pretty good to our requests but lacked any real flavour. The 3 prawns we got on our steak look like they were a week old. The salad was limp and tasteless. When you pay nearly $40 per meal you would expect a better meal. Very very disappointing. Will never eat there again. Al acarte Restaurant prices, bistro meals. Have had better steak chips and salad meals for $15 at my local

Can't beat the view, and the seafood platter for 1 was more than enough for two, and pretty good.

I don't go there very much the beer is too expensive if you are not a member

Standard club food trying to be a little upmarket, but aren't they all? An extra star for the beachside location. Parking is terrible at peak times. I'll happily go again but I'm in no rush.

Location on waters edge at Cronulla beach. Ample room to grab a window seat so no need to book ahead. Food prices can be a little steep if not buying weekly specials but you're paying for the location. Friendly staff and disabled accessibility. Parking can be difficult so best to park side streets and walk the rest of the way with a view.

We booked a table for two on a Thursday, early lunch time. As always the view is breathtaking. The table allocated was ready and friendly staff showed us to our table and provided us with menus. Quick friendly service at the bar for our preluncheon drinks. We had a two for one voucher and although we could have had different meals both chose the Seafood Linguine. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The sauce was tasty and the dish had a large quantity of various seafood. A big serving. We certainly will return. We appreciate the Covid safe environment.

Lovely View. Great staff. Simple pub food that is presented well and tasty. We had a large party and the staff were wonderful. We had a table booked for 90mins but due to a cancellation they let us stay on, which was greatly appreciated. The night was a breeze , from the ordering of food where everyones meals came out at the same time to the cake being sent out on time. Couldn't fault our night. Four stars due to price. Quite exxy for a pub feed and basic drinks.

Dinner at Watergrill Cronulla last Friday night staff were fantastic ! With special mention of Emelee, Steve and Strickland really looked after all of us. Food was delicious, freshly made and served quickly. Recommend without any hesitation Cheers Jeanette

Came for some lunch with family and cousins and I enjoyed my lunch i had 1 penne marinara then after a strawberry ice cream

A bit dissapointed with steaks. For a reasonably expensive steak, a few were extremely fatty and like most times we eat here they were over cooked. Very hard to get a steak anything less than medium well done, they don't like to see blood.
Also had salt and pepper squid which was over cooked and slightly tough with no taste of salt and pepper.

Best view over south Cronulla beach. Don t miss the stoinker cocktails

Fast service but very average food and extremely overpriced. Get your schnitty at Highfields.

We were walk-ins on Fathers Day, as we have an emotional attachment to the club. Appreciate it was busy, but after lining up for food was told no alterations: the request was for NO SALT on Fish and Chips.

This would have been extremely disappointing if we had a booking, as this isn't an alteration and was an essential dietary requirement. Most places now don't salt food as they have it on the table (as do the RSL)

Great place for a club feed but outrageously expensive! $30+ for a main in a RSL! It is too much for what are somewhat standard recipes/dishes! It's a shame, I'd go more often otherwise

Lots of fun times here, great drink prices, host awesome NYE parties and packages. My go to when in town as from Melb. Best views in Cronulla.

Went here for dinner a few months ago. I believe it has been refurbished - it looks great. We had drinks in some comfy chairs looking at over the ocean as a huge full moon crept up. Beautiful setting, solid RSL food - simple, tasty and generous with portions.

The food is quite expensive for very basic product.
The Chicken palm is exactly what you d get if you bought a frozen Ingram s chicken snitzel, added leggos tomato paste, a slice of packet ham and loads of mozzarella. Of course you can t go wrong with a chicken palm, but defo not worth $30!

Great selection of food and quick service. Just arrive early if you need to find a carpark as the street and carpark can get busy.

Excellent views, very nice after refurbishment. Cocktail deck is nice with ideal weather. Only thing wish the menu was changed it's beem same for months

Coffee almond milk was dreadful the so called barista s couldn't possibly do hot one she sai.d...i t would curdle the cakes poor vegan selection.dining room very noisy close to drinking revellers population very young or old school married men.

Wonderful,extraordinary view of Sth Cronulla beach. Worth stopping by for a couple of wines just for the view. The food is good but not brilliant, the prices a little on the high tide as are the drinks. Worth it though every now and again for the view.

The best RSL by far, very traditional yet modern, cant wait to see the sports area finished, view is amazing, food is abit on the expensive side if not a member.
