Warner Bros. Movie World Review

I didn't enjoy this place compared to Wet n Wild or SeaWorld, which had a lot more activities I could enjoy with my 4 year old daughter. Plus she didn't know many of the WB characters(!), apart from some of the DC characters. Went on a Sunday, arrived about 9:20am with queues waiting to open. Even once you get in at 9:30am you can't walk around two of the sections with rides before 10am. Everyone waiting around awkwardly. I'd aim to arrive 10am next time.

Luckily they specialise in rides and not food. Superman rescue has always been my favourite ride and it didn't disappoint again. Green lantern was fun for a chill out type coaster and Scooby doo ride was actually unexpectedly amazing.
But food was horrendous and restaurants need to be cleaner as do toilets but it's a theme park and you don't go there specifically for those things

Such a wonderful place. It has definitely come along way since it 1st opened. We have been many times and just love it.

Awesome. As a DC comic fan, I really enjoyed the design of the place, how it is filled with different characters and scenarios. I was surprised to still see Christian Bale's 2005 batman not 2008 and I was surely glad to see the characters had their costumes from the comic not from the movies. The rides are fun, personally I found the escape ride the best.

Great theme park with a variety of rollercoasters, cartoon character and super hero apperiences

Had a fun day. Enjoyed the parade as all the characters came out.

Had a great time with the family. Shame some of the rides were down for maintenance

Long wait to queue to get in. Frustrating when booked online. Staff were rude and found only one staff member on to serve at each place bought things was insufficient for the crowd waiting. Three of the main rides were closed and queues for toilets.quite disappointed considering the rave reviews. A paraplegic lady on own was told couldn't do a ride as had no one to accompany her. My 21 yr old son overheard and offered to be with her. Management refused as he has a fast past and she did not so she would be "jumping the queue". Unbelievable!! That poor ladies circumstances an exception should and could have been made...overall the whole place needs a pr day and managed a lot better. Why they need a photo is ridiculous as they have their money...Disneyland & other major theme parks do not do such a time waster and still put thru thousands more people in a day with limited booths available and half the wait.

Simply loved it. You can't miss this place to visit. Trust me

We spent the whole day and only managed to get a photo with the Catwoman. A few years back Batman came wondering about for kids to have a picture taken. My son didn't have one taken as he was only 2 and was rather terrified. We saw Superman but I must say the costume was very terrible it ain't worth the $20 to have a picture taken.
Could not comment much on the rides as my son did not meet the min height requirement for most of the (adult) rides.
Overall it is quite a fun place to go for kids once in a few years or so as not much has changed since.

Movie World is a wonderful place. Lines were (by theme park standards) exceptionally short, staff were kind, and the new Hypercoaster was amazing. It's just a shame that the Arkham Asylum ride was undergoing maintenance.

Great place to visit but not as good as I've expected. Rides are not as many as I expected.

I went to movieworld when I was little and have loved it ever since. This year I went to my first fright night and it was so fun.

Nice under cover eating area but it was fairly packed out. Unfortunately there were little to no vegan food choices, except hot chips and a rather long wait for food. The staff were all polite, however a few rides were shut which was disappointing. Overall the place was pretty underwhelming. It would definitely benefit from a larger variety of food options, and more seating areas.

Treat to visit every time, amazing theme park with great rides but every time I visited some of the rides are closed for maintenance.

Rides were OK. Organization was terrible as park opened up and we still had to wait another 30 minutes for rides to open. Furthermore several rides were closed and no tradies in site trying to get the rides up and running. Seems to be the same thing across all Warner Brothers theme parks this time round and every single time I've visitited their theme parks in Australia.... Overall average experience and very unhappy due to a minimum of 3 attractions at every park that we're not in operation and many of their photograph scanning machines after a ride were not operating due to system issues.... For a multi million or more dollar company you'd think that these issues would've been sorted out by now especially in this day and age.... Disappointing.....

17 BIG RIDES IN 5 HOURS WITH A 45MIN LUNCH BREAK.
YES FASTRACK IS EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH EVERY DOLLAR ( $250 INCLUDING ENTRY) WALKED PAST 250+ PEOPLE WAITING IN CUES FOR 45MIN-90MIN. DIDNT WAIT LONGER THAN 5MIN IN ANY OF THE BIG RIDES !!!!

Best theme park on the Gold coast and at a decent price. We went as a group of 10 and had an amazing time walking through what felt like a movie setting and got to meet the Marvel team and the Scooby Gang while having lunch at Gotham city. The rides and car shows were also a bonus. A definite plan to visit.

One of my favourite themeparks! lines werent too long and had a great time but unfortunately my favourite rides were closed.

It's a small theme park, with a limited number of rides, characters, and attractions. If you didn't stop to look/participate in anything, a walk through the park would take at most 20 minutes. There's a parade down the centre street in the afternoon. I waited almost 30 minutes for it, and honestly, it was very lackluster and finished in less than 10 minutes. There are a number of food options within the park, but none of them are healthy, all very oily and overpriced even for theme park food. The Lego Movie was most enjoyable, although on the short end. Besides that, the souvenir shops are present at every corner and there's plenty of benches for sitting and eating.

All good, just a couple of rides my 5 year likes were closed. A bit disappointing...

Excellent rides. Crowds make wait times an hour which is not fun. Get there at 3 or 4pm instead

Only went on 3 rides!! Most of the rides were closed which was a huge bummer. But the shops were nice, you'll have fun shopping and snacking.

Great place. Lots of fun. However expensive food and drink. Recommend packing some food and water.

I have always enjoyed myself at Movie World! White Christmas is my absolute favourite!

All the ride constantly broken, not recommending at all. Don't waste your time and money.

That was 3 hours of my life I will never get back! They crammed as many people into the park as possible, 2 hour wait in a line in the heat for a ride, very easily separated from our children as there were so many people in a small park and the children would disappear in the blink of an eye. Families I would avoid this park at all costs, it is very expensive and standing in queues for hours with hot, thirsty children is not fun, and if they are thirsty it costs $4.50 Australian to buy a cheap bottle of water and Hungry? 4 tiny cheeseburgers and chips cost us $70 Australian, it was crap, wall to wall humans for 3 hours, not fun.

Terrible, rides weren't working , you should check before you go to see what's operating. The street shows are short, we wasted time waiting for the hero's who showed up for a few minutes only.

There was hardly any wait times due to going at off peak times however the log flume ride and Scooby doo ride were closed for renovations so that was a bit disappointing

Great. Very crowded at this time of year. Waiting times for rides could be up to an hour...esp Scooby Doo ride. Worth a visit anyway you'll love it. Try the chocolate frappe at the coffee shop yum

A great day out. Batman and Flash made my son's day by shaking their hand. Rides were fun and the staff helpful.

Nice theme park but you have to pay to get a pic with the characters. Rides can take time to get on but this is the norm in any theme park. The rides are good and the ticket pricing is not so bad

It's awsome!!! I dont have to pay to get in anyway because I have a pass and the lines arnt that long and i luv the superman ride!!!!! recomened to go!! and the entrance fee isnt that much its only like $20

Great rides, excellent details in the shop fronts, street facades etc. Clean and tidy

Great for everyone. Different things to see and do for all age ranges. Food can get a bit pricey, but souvenirs and ride photos are decently priced.

Bought a ticket for my dad while he was visiting, turns out the only ride operating was green lantern who has a wait time of 1 hrs plus... hard to believe the car park is full 99% of the time when the logistics aren't up to speed

Loved Movie World, the best ride were hyper coaster and the Superman escape. We absolutely loved it. We will be back for more rides.

Best to go during non holiday times. A few rides were closed.

Alot of fun. Loved spending the day with my grown children who took me there to celebrate my 50th birthday

4 of the main rides were closed which increased the queues in the rest of the rides. Not many kids rides either. Didnt let my husband take his coffee just because the cup said hungry jacks. All the merchandise stores have different promotions so got ripped of there for the same items. But they are doing well in terms of cleaning and sanitizing after covid.

Very good day out, but a bit run down looking in bits.

I love the rides here. These are the best coasters in Queens land!

Fun and friendly ..needs to change the same shows we have seen for past few years

Great day out for the family. Really need more than 1 day if you take kids if you want to do everything

Some things are still under renovations but the congestion is a lot better managed now and loving the updates that are coming

Be prepared to do alot of walking. Fun for the kids but bring a pram as the rides and attractions are in alot of different directions. Plenty to see and take pictures with costume characters.
