Great place but definately need to use a fast track pass in school holidays or ride ques can be 60min+

Always helpful but have to go back as issue wasn't resolved

Loved this place, third time in Queensland, third time in here.

Great day out, place is clean and tidy.. staff all pretty friendly..
Food is expensive but kinda expect that.. definitely be bad

It was good and all but it didn't have everything like before by that I mean they were still renovating things,and that really enoy me because I went there 4 years ago and there still renovating

Cameras were out of order on a few rides which was very disappointing.

DC Rivals, Green Lantern and Arkham Asylum are really solid roller coasters. We had a great time, went on a winter weekday in school time. Lines were not too long. The stunt driving show was greatnas well. We did the whole park in about 4.5 hours.

Great theme park but the lines are extremely long and it does take quite a while to get on to rides, buy food or see shows. Definitely need to spend the whole day there to get your money's worth and see every attraction

Great day out for the kids try to avoid busy days as the waiting times can spoil the day.

A disappointment overall most rides were down for maintenance or closed for a bit of wind. Prices were rediculous half way around the world for nothing so disappointed

Everyone has something here. Loved the princess for the day event for kids

Amazing fun second time! Enjoyed hypocrister - the biggest roller coaster of Southern hemisphere. Due to off season my fav Superman ride was closed :( also few more rides were closed

Best theme park after dream world in the world with batman s cool cars and bikes loved superman escape and did 3 time coooooolll place

Movie world was a wonderful experience. The lines can get pretty long, the max one when I went was an hour and a half. Would recommend getting fast pass as it would be worth it, but we did manage every ride without it. However if you have the money, would really reccomend. Also, the DC hyper coaster as well as the superman ride were really great. If you get nervous and start to not wanna do them, would 100% reccomend doing them anyway. They are so much fun! You can buy a refillable cup, that is really handy as you get really thirsty during the day. All in all, movie world is a great experience and really worth it in the end. Would reccomend to family's and thrill seekers.

Enjoyed a lot.would highly recommend everyone to visit along with family .It can be enjoyed by all age group. And the parade of cartoon characters & superman etc was awesome.one can click photos with them as a memory.Ample Parking space also available.will visit again shortly

Ushers at entrance could have been a bit more organised. Needed more photo opportunities for kids with super heroes. Not lining up to pay $20 for each one that makes an appearance. Line up to entertainment was way too long.

Fantastic place for kids and adults to meet their superheroes and enjoy the rides. Kids loved the cartoon characters parade in the afternoon.

Too much shops in there. They need more movie scene to call it movie world.

I love rides but this place is getting really noisy. Music blasting out everywhere. Some of the best rides were closed for maintenance as well. Guess you can't really complain about that!

I have had a roller coaster ride in 3 to 4 different countries, this one was worth the wait. I arrived at 3pm, the park would close at 5, it took 2 hours worth of wait to get up the 1st row :) Enjoyed every bit in it, the ride is 55~60 seconds and the loading time for next batch is about 180 seconds, so, every 240 seconds 22 people are served. This is how you can calculate your wait time LOL I used a stop watch to measure time. The theme park is worth spending whole day. I drove from Sydney, 10 hours drive was also worth it. Zero complaints. Go there first thing in the morning, even if you're late you can still catch a roller coaster haha

Some rides werent available and there was a lengthy wait time for entry

Went to fright night, it was fun! Loved the new joker ride! Went twice!

We had a great day ..I said to my kids they can go on one last ride before we go home so we filled our drink cups up and they wanted to go on a ride called Justice League .
We walked up and the lady at the door I believe her name was Sam told us we had to tip our drinks out if we wanted to go on the ride ..I said can we please just leave them outside as there is a poll with cement around it approx 4 meters away and she said No and I asked why and she said because she doesn't want them to be put there. She was very rude and her tone was not nice at all. In the end we did put the drinks there but with a person minding them. Not a nice experience at all but the day all in all was great ..Thankyou

Awesome park, could easily spend a whole week there. The superhero's are amazing, my son couldn't get enough of them. He loved the ice cream too, thank you Supergirl!! You've made his year. The Joker is fantastic.

Good place to see.lots of Cartoon characters, and live performances.

Lots of roller coasters so great for people who like coasters. Great options at the stores who are into Marvel and WB characters.

Loved the place as a kid and continue to love it as an adult

By far the best theme park on the Gold Coast. Perfect for families and friends, with many fun rides and shows happening throughout the day

Had a great day out with my family, lots of choices on rides along with a variety of food, Would definitely recommend.

Great theme park. New DC ride is amazing for what the park is. The new Scooby doo ride isn't as good as the classic but still good fun.

Cant believe they charge a 3 year olds and pensioners $99 !!
3 yr old was not allowed on 99% of the rides due to height restrictions and a god damn pensioner doesn't go on rides, so why the hell is e ntry so expensive for these categories?
Half the rides were closed due to maintenance which added insult to injury..... save your money!

Very disappointing. Many major attraction rides closed today. No communication from staff, which seen crowds waiting in line in the heat for rides that had issues and would not be operating. The children's section has very little on offer for toddlers.

Amazing place with amazing staff. Had a really awesome time there.

I live in Perth and movieworld gives me good memories. Always something to do and something for all ages. The ques were quite long if you go during the holidays, but still worth the wait! I wouldn't recommend going in the near future because the green lantern rollercoaster is still shut down (one of the best rides in the park) but apart from that a great theme park with not only rides, but many entertaining shows too!

Wasny a bad place for the grandchildren , plenty to see and do all in all a great day out

If the cost of personal photos with the kids and characters don't get you then the many gift shops will.......

But on the other hand if your a dad Cat Woman or Wonder Woman will brighten your day...

Brilliant venue for young and young at heart. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Not bad place to go with friends. But size is pretty small, and It looks like need to improve especially theme shops.

Loved everything about Movie World. Staff are fantastic friendly and the park is clean cheerful and overall fun.!!

Village Roadshow app is an absolute must!!
Allows you to virtually que and is a massive time saver.
We just chilled at the gardens, had some drinks until the timer was done and no lineing was necessary.
Awesome theme park, even on a rainy day

Omg, what a day. The DC Rivals coaster is definitely the highlight and it's not for the faint hearted. I paid the $10 for a backwards ride which also had the advantage of skipping the queue. Make sure you get the video of your first ride when it's your first go to make the most of the surprise value. The second best ride has got to be Superman, with the horizontal launch and it's amazing speed. My pick for third is the older Arkham Asylum coaster, hint its quiet because it's a little hard to find, it's near the entrance to Superman. The Doomsday Destroyer came in at 4, still a good ride. I didn't rate the Green Lantern rollercoaster, it was quicker than it appears but didn't have the edgeiness of the other coasters. All of these coasters (except Green Lantern) where very smooth. The Wild West Falls Adventure ride was not bad for a flume ride, and included plenty of opportunities to get wet. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the park and the apparent maintenance on the rides. The staff were friendly and the merchandise was not at a price gouging level. We had some really delicious food from the Main St deli as well. As for a recommendation on who would be suited to the park, its a definite thrillseekers audience, plus there's a whole for the kids (mine weren't there though). If you fall in the middle of thrillseekers and child, you might be disappointed although admittedly I didn't get to all of the rides. I'm now planning on coming back with my kids. Would also recommend the all day photo pass too if you're going to get more than 1 photo.

The rides are great and visiting it is a moment to be remembered...

The music was too loud, I got a splitting headache, I wanted to stay a little longer and do other stuff but I couldn t because of how loud the music was. Please guys turn down the music, lots of people were also complaining about it, I m not the only one.

Awesome theme park I enjoyed my time here. Don t expect it to be as awesome as Universal Studios, but It really worth your visit. You must try Superman ride!

Good fun to be had here. Lines are overbearing it's not school holidays. There are a couple of rides that aren't open.

Went today to movie world the staff very rude , if the staff don't wanna work there then don't take the job up its all about customer service and being rude to a customer who is spending so much to get in and then spending for food is bad business specially when the whole place runs on customer service

Good rides but you have to stand for 45-50 minutes to get your turn so end of the day you don't get the time to go through all the rides

Batman was standing for pics we were last in que as our turn comes the guy goes batman HAS TO GO NOW now we waited in the que kids were so disappointed with the experience after requesting the guys please can the kids take a pic with batman how long does it take to take a pic may be one minute the answer we received was no can't do it which is wrong one minute in my view would not have made a big difference

Overall a bad experience

I loved the Warner Bros Movie World and the majestic rides, real roller-coaster rides. just wish the could be better management of the lines but that wait is soooooo worth it. Had a fabulous time. Will definitely come back.

One of the best thrills rides i ever took in my life. Make sure you took priority pass on weekends or public holidays.

Always am incredible and joyful day out. Yes lines can be long, but every ride is a good one. Planning your day, and if you have the money a fast- pass can be good too, and you can really get the most out of it. Staff are all really helpful, and there are plenty of characters and and events to experience.

Excellent to bring kids here, and.excitef games here, good experience for family

Always great fun. The new Hypercoaster was awesome fun and Superman is always fun. Even when the weather is not great its always fun to visit.

This is my favourite theme park. Really enjoyed the Carnivale night and the Fright Night. These events are enjoyable for the whole family.

So exciting! Better for the kids over 1.3m high as a lot of restrictions.
