Breathtaking rides that will sure pump the adrenaline in you. Had fun with the parade, the characters are just amazing! So inlove with The Joker and Cat Woman, can't get enough of them. I felt like i was a kid again.

After doing a fair bit of research trying to decide between Dreamworld and Movie World I settled on Movie World and I'm so glad I did.

This park seems to have it all. They have terrifying looking thrill rides which people seem to love, as well as some more milder rollercoasters which even scaredy cats like me can enjoy. As well as photo opportunities and other non ride-based entertainment.

There appeared to be lots to do with younger ones and the park looks to be very family friendly, with a Looney Tunes themed section filled with child friendly rides.

I was pleasantly surprised but the cost of food and beverages at the park. The refillable cup is a great deal and allows you to come away with a cheap souvenir.

The staff I interacted with were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The ride attendants are lovely and made me feel safe and secure.

There are lockers to store your belongings. Some rides had one hour lockers for free, but if you want a full day locker hire bring $10 in coins as the locker machines do not take notes or EFTPOS. I had no trouble using EFTPOS at any other locations in the park.

The park has ample easy to spot rubbish and recycling facilities, there was never any litter in sight. And most importantly the toilets were always in a nice clean state.

Majority of the rides were under maintenance today, but wait times were short. Movie World seems to have been the Village Roadshow theme park that has benefited the least from Covid closures. Would like to see more updates (particularly how bland the stunt show is these days).

Went on a Thursday and we didn't have to wait for any rides, was really good. Disappointed the superman was closed as was closed last year we came. Loses a star though as they have a company pulling people aside with a scratchy card saying your a winner, but a it's to a seminar with a accommodation/time share and you have to pay a deposit of $40. We got sucked in, got our $40 back the next day. but after reading all the negative stuff after googling them later, it's all a have and a waste of everyone's time. Dont get sucked in and movie world shouldn't have this kind of negativity thought against them cause of this. They shouldn't allow this in there grounds. Otherwise it was a great day.

This is an excellent theme park. They are committed to providing access to the rides for everyone including those with disabilities.

The staff were very accommodating to those who have disabilities. They recommend that anyone who has a disabilty to go to Guest Services and get a special wrist band. This notifies the ride operators of what requirements that the person has and they do their best to accommodate the disabled person where possible.

This forward thinking is allowing everyone the ability to enjoy rollercoasters.

Always been a fan of movie world, especially Halloween. Recently though massive disappointment. After the borders were finally reopened we travelled to the Gold Coast for a well earned family holiday to the theme parks, paid $800 and were bitterly dissapointed to find out that 3/4 of the park was closed. Why charge full price when well over half the park was closed. Greedy money grab by warner bros

Always a fun experience! Most recently visited for Fright Night on the Ultimate Terror Tour pass, and it was the best yet. Fantastic staff, amazing work from all involved, a truly brilliant time!

Overall very positive. Though not up to the same experience as some big international theme parks... And that's to be expected, but the price is pretty steep so not the best value. But overall positive

Very disappointing, hardly any rides working. School holidays is busiest time yet nothing working, too many pay games too on top of entrance fees. Movie world used to be great needs to pick up their act.

Came all the way from the Northern Hemisphere and only booked this place and a hotel. We get here and 6 rides are closed - 3 of them being 3/6 of the 'thrill rides' (including the hypercoaster) staff were rude when asked about closures and if they would reopen soon. Refused a refund and not able to rebook to when they would be open. This caused massive queues on a relatively quiet day for the other rides (which last a minute if you're lucky). Was told to check the site for closed rides before attending but they weren't on planned maintenance anyhow so don't know how that would have helped. Other staff didn't even know about a few of the rides being closed and were advising customers to go to them. Very unimpressed.

Date day with my love started well. Decided for a theme park day like the tourists but out of holiday time. Through the gates we go now armed with yearly passes for the big 3 theme parks. First ride we were knocked back on riding as i had a elastic knee bandage on that i use for long day walking support. So off the guest services to have what was almost a medical. 45 mins later and a green band on back to the ride superman. Li ed for 30 mins till our ride. We both took our seats a locked in the harness. The attendant said the harness was not touching my knees so we counld not ride. Tokd to leave and escorted back past all the waiting ppl. Embarrassing to say the least. Would of been nice to have been told their were size restrictions first. Ok this taken on we headed for the other rides at DC area. One tide had a seat to try first which saved us lining again. No ride again. Ok off to another....
Once again size restricted but no warning. No rides after two hours inside. Back to guest services to be explained that was most of the rides and that they have this every day. All up we found 4 rides we could use and two were closed. So after $340.00 entry we had two rides we could enjoy. Only reason we stayed and kept the yearly passes is the other two parkes we could use the entertainment and attractions without being embarrased or wasting our time lining up. Plus we will come back for the themed nights such as fright night and xmas in july. Very disappointing movie world.

So much fun! Go with friends and enjoy the rides and the actors. Awesome for families and kids of many ages. Buy a refillable drink and stay hydrated all day. Watch a 4D movie or go on the VR rollercoaster Arkham.

It's overpriced, the rides are good and the stunt show is ok. But there's not enough interaction for your money. The Polar Express was the worst thing about the experience. It didn't need glasses, and the storyline was really boring and jumped all over the place. I think even the kids were bored. And it went for all of 10 mins. Don't bother.

This place has to be one of the happiest in the world! So much to see and do, you need at least 2-3 days to do it all. The various shows and character meetups are great. We even watched the joker kidnap a few kids down mainstream then set off on a chase around movie world with Robin!

Movie world has always been my favourite theme park. Unfortunately this is no longer case. I visited on the weekend,,there were 3 major rides closed and also rides in the kids area were closed as well as side shows also closed. This i believe is because it is quiet time so the park do not bring in staff to open all rides. Perhaps then there needs to be a "quiet time" entry fee also. Very disappointed, even the final parade for the day was disappointing.

Excellent family friendly atmosphere. Staff were very helpful. Entry process is time consuming and needs to be made faster. Maybe have kid sized refill cups as well as adults as $14 is a lot for a kid that may drink 1-2. The stunt show is amazing we will be back
