Fantastic house, currently setup for Christmas, various rooms decorated with a festive musical theme, really beautiful setting. The Christmas Market in the garden was excellent, and the lights and music shows were amazing

Lovely place as many describe it, brilliant and fairly big play area for kids, grounds are spectacular, free car park and excellent bus service, biggest let down for us was the quality of the food in cafe and the price of it, I'd advise to take food with you.

Waddesdon is full of treasures inside the house and in the extensive grounds. Modern sculpture joins classic pieces and there are new things to do and see in every season. The Christmas experience both inside the house and out in the grounds was just magical.

Houses of rich dead people don't do it for me, but the grounds are pleasant - especially if you walk up from the village as you can then get in without the bothersome business of actually paying.

Love Waddesdon and though it was good to see it open and the staff were nice , it was disappointing to see the lack of colour and care. Especially the rose garden was in a sad state. Hopefully the normal high standard will return.
Lots of hand sanitizer around.
No bus service so a tough walk if you have little people.

Really very special even just going around the gardens. You do need to be aware of the long walk from the car park although the shuttle bus service is due to start at end of July. There is a lot of ups and downs, but the grounds are wonderful to behold. Lunch type food, drinks and ice reams available.

Most amazing Manor house! Especially the grounds and garden are great. We stayed an entire week in the area and came back every single day to visit the exhibition and to have tea & scones in the restaurant.

Beautiful place, lovely manicured gardens, stunning interiors. Beautiful rare porcelain collections you won't see anywhere else. My jaw dropped too many times to number! The Stables is a good place to eat and the service is excellent. The ice creams next door are brilliant too!

Visited the Christmas market and had a fabulous time. Great selection of stalls selling good quality items. Day was made particularly special by the staff / volunteers who went out of their way to make it a memorable visit. The light show was spectacular. Thank you so much Waddesdon! Happy Christmas.

We come here annually for the Christmas tour of the house, and this time stayed late for the lights show which was truly magical. A little pricey but worth splashing out for an enchanting day out for the family. (Also had a yummy lunch at the stables)

Owned by the rothchilds / national trust this place is a must visit location especially if you are not from the UK. Stunning gardens and an expansive amount of the house open to the public.make it a whole day out for the family. Exhibits in the house are well curated and on certain days of the year they hold great events such chilli festivals and Christmas markets etc which add even more things to do. As a family we go here at least 3 times a year.

A neo-renaissance palace, so a little bit too artificial for my taste. Every detail is a perfect work of art and there is a huge eclectic collection. Their restaurant has very good chefs with seasonal menu.
There are more gardens with different style, and every year you can see special and very creative modern art installations. It was different every time when I visited there.

Fabulous place for a day out, so much history and character. Despite the rain the day was fantastic with so much to see and do. Pre booking is essential but allows you to have the place pretty much to yourself. There is a great little cafe where you can sit under cover.

Beautiful architecture and grounds. You do need to pre book tickets to enter the house as entry is limited. The gardens are really beautiful and there are plenty of places to grab refreshments. It's been well organised too, shuttle buses every five minutes from the car park to the house and grounds.

Mind blowing. Waddeson Manor really is a one off. Both the exterior and interiors are exceptional. Every item in the house is world class and of museum quality. The particular guide I kept meeting was not just friendly but very knowledgeable giving s first class talk about wines. It was an overcast day when I visited and I spent 4 hours looking around the house and wine cellar. Everything is well done including the AV presentation in the Power Room. Brilliant visit.

Beautiful house and the gardens are equally stunning. They often have activities on for kids and this time it was great halloween half term entertainment. And they are constantly evolving, we go quite often and something has always been improved. The ice cream shop that replaced the sweet and gift shop is a particular favourite, the ice creams are delicious!

A beautiful national trust, that didn't feel like your typical estate in the way it was managed. The gardens were well kept and varied, so the walks were beautiful. Please note that house requires pre booking, we did this online and it's well worth doing as it was in excellent condition, with an amazing collection of artifacts.

Great day out. Loads for children to do too. Love that the open spaces are open for all to enjoy and children encouraged to play games due to the free loan out of toys. Needs more than one visit to fully appreciate. Although a bit pricey, had a lovely lunch at the cafe with tasty food and wonderful staff.

Plenty of open space to walk around with well kept gardens, aviary and house. Play park areas for young children and normally some activities happening in the Stables area. Main problem seems to be massive overcrowding in the relatively few eating places, particularly in the Stables restaurant (which is otherwise decent) when it's busy leading to long waits. The 'posher' restaurant near the house is pricey and can be very slow (took over 20 mins to bring 7 coffees over even when it was quiet). Take a picnic if you want to avoid the hassle.

Had a lovely walk and the Manor have things well set out with loads of signs for keeping your distance but sadly some people just don't have a clue about leaving space and letting people pass safely. We stopped and sat on a seat for a while and four people with 2 dogs just walk past very close to us they could have moved to the other side of the path but didn't bother not a clue. Still enjoyed our walk just not the inconsiderate people
