Great location and my room (as expected) felt like a mini personal night club. More spacious than I expected from a W in Paris. My bathroom was large and the room had plenty of space. The W on the other side of Paris has much smaller rooms. Only issue is that it is hard to see the hotel from the street. There isn't a large W sign, so I had to orient via the Opera Theatre and Apple store next door.

Was on a anniversary trip with my wife and our 2nd stop in Paris, we stayed at W Paris - Opera. The hotel turned up to be very small - which in my opinion is a good thing as there won't be high traffic in and out of the hotel.

Deco is something I have come to expect from any W, so there isn't any surprises if you have stayed in any W. The location however is amazing. Just on top of an Apple Store, and directly opposite the Opera gives you an amazing view. The metro is also just right outside, which means getting around Paris was superb. Of course, such amazing location and view comes with a price.

Unfortunately we didn't had the opportunity to take full advantage of the W Insider based at the hotel, but they were amazingly welcoming prior to our arrival and provided some excellent recommendations.

Excellent for couples, not so sure about families with children unless you take on a suite.

My wife and I wanted to send a bottle of Champagne to our friends' room. It took 6 phone calls to sort out the bill and the situation (i.e. we wanted to pay for it but it kept showing up on the room bill). It was complete CHAOS. Hard to believe this is a W Hotel.

This hotel would have gotten more stars had it not...

This hotel would have gotten more stars had it not been for my boyfriend missing money on two separate occasions when we came back in. The first time was earlier in the day when he thought he may have been off with his spending but it s hard to say that when majority of his spending WAS ON HIS CREDIT CARD AND HE LEFT THE EUROS IN THE ROOM (inside of his backpack, inside of a zipper that was inside of another zippered compartment!) He felt at that moment someone may have taken some, but I tried calming him down and he sort of did, but he was really bothered. He counted his money before we left (excluding what was in his pocket), we came back in later on in the evening, laid around a bit, got dressed for the next outing and when he went to grab a few more bucks, he decided to count it again. THIS TIME $300 was missing! (By the way, this makes $600-700 that has now disappeared that we can t account for) My boyfriend is ambassador status and has spent soooo many nights at marriott properties and has NEVER had to worry about anyone taking from him. All I could think about was the maid who knocked on our door (WITH OUR NOT NOW SIGN DISPLAYED) asking if we needed anything. (On more than 1 occasion). At first I thought the hotel goes above and beyond to make sure you re good, but I also questioned why they d disturb us when the sign on the outside of the door clearly says not now . Long story short, it took the staff a while to get back. My boyfriend had to keep going downstairs to ask the status and they claim they ve spoken to everyone they seen coming in and out of the room on tape but that no one had declared any money (like someone who steals would just admit that they did and say, yes I took money! ). They told us we need to file a police report only for that to turn into some more bs. First they said it would take 30 minutes and then it went to 3 hours. It s just crazy to me that we are the ones who have to be inconvenienced and go out of our way in an ATTEMPT to get our money back, when it was someone at the hotel who clearly stole from us. Now I m forced to turn down service because I don t trust that anything else wouldn t come up missing. It s crazy that All of a sudden, no one is knocking on our door asking if we need anything now. No phone calls to make sure we re turning down service (like they did yesterday) or anything. There s been not a peep from them all day! Maybe because we ve been in the room and haven t left. (Which means we still have our money) I hope when they checked the cameras they paid attn to whether or not the not now sign was up prior to entry (just in case they came while we were gone and had our sign posted because anyone entering with that sign up is clearly the culprit!) . My advice, (and please believe I will be taking my own from now on) USE THE SAFE! Though we never had to before, we will be doing so going forward. We do appreciate some of the staff members that were empathetic but we re very much so still skeptical of other staff members.

I had a great room with a view of the Opera. Room was modern with a comfortable bed. Nice bar and restaurant with a very limited menu but the food was good. Maid service was a bit sloppy and and stingy with bath products. Overall very nice hotel with a very good location.

Loved this hotel! Super friendly and helpful staff who make the stay extra special. The location is terrific and easy to get around. In addition, this hotel lends a free phone to use with service during your stay, phenomenal! The breakfast buffet is wonderful and delicious.

The best hotel, because of its location, shopping is very convenient, Galeries Lafayette and Paris Spring Department Store are on the corner, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from, just 15 minutes walk to the Louvre. The staff here is also great and will be very helpful when you need help. The basic breakfast buffet is much better than a continental breakfast or a la carte. The double room we stayed in was small but the space for luggage was still quite enough. Mom and I lived comfortably here, and I really hope that I don t have to move to Prince de Galles in the last days of my trip. I will come again.

Amazing welcome, service and food both at the restaurant and the room service. View from the rooms and hotel are beautiful and clear. The hotel is mainly clean and well maintained, the staff makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel bar is really amazing too!

This is a very cool hotel, yes, but it is almost trying to be too cool - in a tragically hip kind of way... The decor was mostly tastefully done, but there were some very modern elements that were borderline disturbing. Otherwise, great place to stay... Very central location and helpful staff. I would recommend as long as you aren't looking for 24hr access to food/services.

Cool.

One of the best hotels i've been in, This is what you should expect from the 5 star hotel, Tremendous interior, Staff members are very sufficient and friendly, Plus the factor of location. You are close to any major attractions.

I liked it but not a great W hotel compared to say London or Miami. The ground floor layout is very odd with the bar and seating areas, our twin room was quite small and didn't have a bath, the room service menu and food was bad and breakfast not great either. But still had that W style and class so not a terrible stay. Probably wouldn't come back though.
