Yikes. Location is good if you need to be in the center. Thats it period. The decor is last decade tired, worn out and in desparate need of makeover. Mildew is especially noticable in the minimal white bathrooms. Didnt like the feces on the dildo shaped shower nozzle. Perhaps thats why they include condoms at the minibar. I could go on but im outta here. Good luck "w"ith your booking.

Local: Rather small. At the entrance there are small low tables and then a small room with higher tables where you can eat something.

Attention: very good

Kitchen: it has a small menu of sandwiches and the like of excellent quality and presentation.

Rating: 7/10

Price: Parisian hotel cafeteria prices. Minimum 35

Good details: quality of the waiters.

Bad details: Nothing remarkable

Great location for a business or leisure trip to Paris. The street can be noisy given the location. Overall prices are pretty high. I had some food at the lobby lounge-service and quality was good and a DJ played a good selection of music.

The rooms are small but clean. The only advantage of this hotel is the location which in The Opera. The breakfast is the lousiest in Marriott Chain. I have ordered express pressing pressing and of course it s weekend and charged me 50% more but they delivered after 48hrs. What an express. That s why they need to focus more on the service

During our trip, we had the pleasure of staying in the EWow suite. Walking in the Extreme Wow suite itself was a marvelous experience. The W hotels are trendy and contemporary. We loved their modern Parisian take on their suite in the Opera location. The service was great, we did not want to leave. The hotel is also located in a great location for shopping and sightseeing. We love The W Opera Hotel!

Stayed here for three nights with my girlfriend and it was exactly what you'd expect from a W Hotel- stylish, clean and friendly. Unfortunately because the hotel is so popular, it is very unlikely you will get a room upgrade if you hold SPG Gold / Platinum. The location is excellent, we will stay here again.

The welcome to the hotel reception which I did not feel in Paris is really good. The other Paris hotels are not very kind to me because I am French and I feel like this is a w hotel. But now the only thing that will come to the hotel with leaves is the best

Had great staying 3 nights with family here. Great location! Everythings near, Galeries Lafayette, opera building, apple store, and many restaurant nearby. The staff really friendly, great service and really satisfied! Definitely will go back here next time!

This hotel is stunning and centrally located! Everything is in walking distance or an easy subway ride. They had lots of great little touches and went above and beyond in regards to service. Every member of their team was amazing and great to deal with. Never seen such beautiful rooms! Highly recommend.

The luxury hotel chain W has been established since 2012 in the Opera district. With a recent facelift of its main lounge, the W remains a very chic and modern hotel. We gladly share a cocktail in a very chill with DJ bonus.

Young and hip feeling starts from the lobby. The receptionist and concierge staff responds as if they were friends of their own, and responds with the best of kindness. Inside the room, there is a splendid decoration. Enjoying Opera House with hotel windows is a real plus!

This Hotel is a 3 stars based on my experience , if you remove the W brand this hotel feels like a basic hotel with poor service very tiny basic room, no lobby, poor checking, nothing fancy for the price.
I book a average of 50 nights per year

Excellent location, small but serviceable rooms with a funky design. Front desk staff have been hit or miss, but the concierge has had nothing but excellent recommendations. Bed is good, room has been quiet with no street noise. Stay here because of the location and then it's a W, otherwise, meh

- Hotel without lobby Check in for half an hour, the female front desk is very poor, very mean. The room is small.
I don't know if it's because I'm in a hurry to clean the room. The bathroom is not clean at all... I went out to eat at night. It was only 12 o'clock when I came back. The lobby (doorway) was actually a cleaning person mopping the floor. The staff in check in was empty! The type of breakfast is extremely small, not too fresh, except that the price is not worth the price.

More than disappointed!

More than disappointed!
After ordering a non-alcoholic mocktail, the service gets it wrong and gives me a vodka-based cocktail. For a hotel of this standard, it is a more than shameful service.
Fortunately I did not have a health condition (pregnant, alcoholic, other ...) or religion prohibiting me from drinking alcohol!

Ok

Meh.

Cool and trendy hotel. Staff at the front exceptional. Housekeeping terrible. Asked for sheets to be changed and the guy that came said they had no extra! Escalated via the Marriott Bonvoy app and the manager actioned immediately. Comfortable room and AC worked nicely during hot summer.

Frankly I was wondering if I should share this Marriott with everyone. I was going to keep this place to ourselves because it is the BEST; across the street from the beautiful Opera' Garnier, one block from the high-end Galleries Lafayette and Printemps shopping, 2 national banks across the other street for ATMs and banking services, 3 Metro Subway stations within one block (very convenient!), the best Staff who would give us directions to get places (important during the Paris Transit strike), weather reports (remember we're from California USA), local restaurant reviews that they go to, and show tickets for supposedly sold out items, as well as an Apple Store. I almost forgot to mention, ALL the Major Tour companies have a stop for their buses and private cars at the Plas Opera' . For Americans visiting Paris, there is no better place to stay while in Paris.

I did not stay in the rooms but from time to time I come to the lobby lounges to work or for meetings. The atmosphere is cozy and the deco is nice, modern with creations of artists. The service is up to a 5 * but prices are affordable.

The service of the breakfast is not top. You order a tea and the pot of hot water is not even filled for the cup arranged with .... friendly staff however .... including at the entrance.

I am in day 2 of a 5 day stay to celebrate our 7 year anniversary and something is off. Normally I have wonderful W experiences and I am not one to complain but this experience is subpar at best. Actually awful.

First, we check in and we are given a room that we later find out is for a person with disabilities. The bed was maybe a 30-40 cm off the floor and the bathroom was one big shower (as the shower had no doors or anything to contain the water). Our bathroom is one big mess of water. We were too busy or jet lagged to complain.

The next day we asked to be moved (this is when we found out it was a room for a person with disabilities - not sure why they gave it to us in the first place). The only room they offered did give a nice view of L'Opera but it is two singles. How romantic!

The room comes with an iron (for pressing clothes) that is so old that it doesn't have steam. I called and they told me that another guest has the iron with steam and they could bring it to my room.

I am off to speak to a manager. But I should not have to. At any other W these issues would not happen. Have not happen.

Sorry W - this trip is a mess.

This is a typical W slightly eclectic hotel very well located in Paris (you can see the Opera house across the street). It looks like a very large hotel but is not really once inside. Hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating throughout my stay. My room was decent sized for the middle of the city and had high ceilings. The hotel had some updates to be made but overall it felt updated. The breakfast had a lot of offerings, but was very pricy for non-elites. Overall, a nice experience.
