March 2015, the company I work for, was approached by Andrew from VMS Data to improve our website design, visibility on Google, and overall SEO. Of the MANY promises made, the main promise was to produce an improved website within 1 week and have it on the 1st page of Google within 1 month. We were initially hesitant, but Andrew assured us VMS was an honest, fair company and would charge $500 to begin the project and a final $500 ONLY after we had a new and improved, functioning website. We felt confident in Andrew's sales pitch (which turned out to be just that, a sales pitch) and decided to work with VMS. WHAT A MISTAKE!!

A week after we spoke to Andrew, we received an email saying our amazing new website was complete. We were excited to see it..until we saw it. Everything we had said in the initial conversation with Andrew seemed to be the opposite of what was produced. We told VMS this was ABSOLUTLY not what we discussed and needed to be changed. After a couple of days, we did a second walk through of the website. We informed VMS this website still could not go live as the changes we requested were not made. Instead VMS took down our original website anyway, drafted the final $500 for a completed site, and made their website go live under our url.

The design looked unprofessional and poorly done. Our Google listing said Our Company Name | Just another Wordpress site. Links were broken within the website. Our contact information was barely visible at the very bottom of the website (the ONLY change ever made that was requested was our business number be visible at the top of the page.) Small grammatical issues we had asked to be fixed were not. Content that was on our previous website, which we emailed them to add, they would not add, etc. etc. etc.

After almost 2 months, we informed VMS we would like to part ways and would like the final $500 refunded because we never received the product we were promised. VMS denied a refund and threatened legal action if we tried to tell the truth about our experience with this company. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND finding another company to handle your web design needs.

I love VMS Data! I dislike other marketing companies. I told Nick the other day, I don't answer the phone for other marketing companies or I hang up on them when they do call, because I have you guys to do my marketing and it's working. The work is very clean and best of all it works. I don't have to spend all my time on the phone just to get things to happen which is my biggest pet peeve. So in other words, you're very proficient. The cost is definitely comparable to other if not better. I am very pleased with everything that was done by them. I am very impressed by the way Nick and David were able to handle everything for me. I can always reach them when I do need changes done, which is huge as well to me. Thanks David and Nick and thanks VMS Data. Vsm is great to work with. I was shown a lot of new things by Calvin that i did not know went into finding ads online. One of your sales associates called us, I asked who they were, they dodged explaining what your company was and why you wanted to speak to our owner. Then they hung up on me.

Having VMS Data set up my business listing was one of the best decisions I have made for the online portion of my business. Andrew and Alex have been a pleasure to work with. They responded to all of my questions and concerns promptly. I am a very, very happy camper. The staff at VMS are really good at what they do, and the customer service is awesome! I would recommend them to any business.

If you are contemplating hiring VMS for your online business presence, do not hesitate! They are a great company to work with. Run away from this company. They are crooks. They set up a Facebook page that was disabled by Facebook. I don't even have access to it since they set it up and I never posted anything. I asked for help and they never gave me any. They supposedly set up Google my Business and Bing and it was like pulling teeth to get them to explain how to manage this. You are going to lose money. Run away from these people. It's a con. I don't know how they are in business.

I am the office manager for Holt General Contracting, which Kristin Hughan had posted a review one year ago regarding this company - only because Andrew had asked her to do it right then and he would do a review for us as well. THIS company is the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.

First off: It took them more than 3 months to get our website up and running, and once it was up and live it was like pulling teeth out to get anything updated on our site. Pictures, wording, etc. I sent photos and emails and never got responses.

At the beginning of this year, we Incorporated and I asked Andrew to get the new logo up that I emailed him. They said they would get it on there and never did. I also had Andrew go onto my computer to remove any harmful things and after he did - I could not longer get online and had to restart from a date prior to when he messed with it.

2 months ago, due to the everyday email complaints to Andrew regarding no communication - they decided they were going to show me how to add photos; and I did. After 3 weeks of uploading photos and changing the pages and information they sent a form to sign that we were satisfied. As soon as I signed the form - I went to the website and everything that I did over the course of those weeks (over 100 hours) was DELETED; including the changes made by the graphic designer whom did the changes to show me how and made those changes live. I sent an email infuriated and Andrew calls the owner stating I am misrepresenting the company and lying and that I deleted everything or did not save it. I advised Andrew everything was saved because clients looked at the site as I made those changes and now all was gone. He through his accusation out and refused to let us talk. The owner said we would cut ties, and Andrew's response was "that is fine I can delete the site as quick as a click of the button" and HE DID. We have a attorney working with us because due to Andrew deleting our website even though we own it - we lost about 4 clients from Angie's List because the email associated with the website also went down. - and Angie's List had sent us requests for work and because we did not receive these people responded with reviews and went elsewhere. We also have costs associated with me doing the work we were paying them for and We had to rush and find a new SEO company because Andrew removed our Google listings as well.

I was contacted by the Design company that did the websites for Andrew because they noticed our site was down and we found out that VMS does not even do the web designs and they never even paid the designed for majority of the websites built.

Oh, and their Blogging was a joke - had nothing to do with our work or our company....

Among these companies, VMS is my favorite. Every department is scripted, authentic, and honest.
I worked very closely with every department. VMS is a very honest and family oriented business, and every department truly does their job honestly and exactly how it is described from initial contact to their "life of the business" relationship.
Regular trainings take place where we were taught to truly care about the online presence of every owner, and have their best interest at heart.
It is definitely the most inexpensive and efficient way to build your online presence.
Almost every employee, including myself, is a true local guide and has a good understanding of marketing and how it works in all aspects.
I highly recommend doing business with VMS Data.
