A nice place to relax and architecturally definitely worth a look.
There are many corners and angles to explore and great things to explore from the chair to the table and history about the Vitra company

Been there so often and always happy to come back. Museum, coffee and the Vitra Haus are wonderful places. There is always something new to discover

a very interesting Design Museum, I recommend taking the combi ticket, in the sense of visiting both the Museum, Schaudepot and absolutely the tour with the guide, to get an explanation of the history and every detail of the Museum that otherwise would have escaped us. For the necessary time it takes all opening hours, currently from 12 to 17, but if normal hours resume, they can be used for an all day visit. Just to know, you can also eat, take a coffee break, and there is also free parking.

It feels like all modern design traces it's roots to 20th century industrial design, and this place is a shrine. You night not know the names but you'll still recognize the pieces, and you will know many of the architects who have contributed to the space. At the very least the main building is a lustworthy assemblage of Vitra's catalogue, and institution m inspiration for how to spend a lottery winnings.

Cool

Anyone interested in interior design is in the right place here. An informative and very well designed exhibition in an architecturally outstanding building, which may well convey inspiring moments to the visitor.

Simply an experience again and again. Super stylish place, inspiring and pleasant. Never seems out of date.
The service in the bistro is unfortunately extremely bad. There you wait 5 minutes until you can order, then you wait 10 minutes for the cake and another 5 minutes for the coffee. And even paying takes an eternity.

The design museum hosts a temporary exhibition on disco design and experience. This not a design museum, nor a vitra design one. Staff does not inform visitors of the waste of time and money in paying the ticket!
You can find a very dry timeline of vitra design in the furniture sales building, admittance free of charge.

The shop and the various buildings from architects Ghery and Hadid are interesting, as well as the depot. Very interesting the atelier of Eames in the basement of the depot, which is accessible free of charge from the toilet area in front of the depot cafeteria.
The depot itself is an interesting collection of design items, which deserved some more details and information panels.

After I found the museum in a travel guide and it was actually very much hyped on the Internet, it was on our "must seen" list. It's quite interesting, but from my point of view not worth the high price and an exclusive marketing platform for Vitra. Unfortunately there are hardly any exhibits and you have actually seen everything within 30 minutes. 11 euros are really too much for that!

My tip too: You can save the 6 euros extra for the viewing depot.

And when you're in Munich, take a look at the Pinakothek der Moderne.

Much Much Much ...

Much Much Much ...
Not for smaller children, although you can try everything

Vitra should be familiar to anyone with an interest in design. So basically a sales exhibition but at a very high level. Even the composition of the buildings and the spacious outdoor area invite to a relaxed stay. A walk through the beautifully designed exhibition rooms completes the day.

What you definitely should not miss, are the dishes in the small museum restaurant. I indulged in a Pollo Fino and was way off the high quality of the food. Noteworthy.

I had been waiting for years to visit him and he met expectations. On arrival you are greeted by the Vitra house, a splendid building by Herzog & de Meuron and a garden full of Vitra chairs, thrown in there as it happens. I must say that despite having seen a thousand times photographed, Vitra House is beautiful, and get lost in the infinite spaces is pleasant. Here you will meet the history of contemporary architecture, pavilions and buildings of the largest, Tadao Ando, Ghery, Zaha Hadid, Siza, Piano ... and others. Some enchant you with their volumetries, others for their industrial rationality, someone will make you play. You will spend pleasant hours. Visit the depot with the history of seating design. Impossible to leave without buying a piece of design history.

Great
