This was my first time at VIR. Had a great time even if it rained a few times. I grew up watching nascar but it has changed so much over the years (not for the better). This is definitely something I can get into. Ticket prices were fair. Got 2 tix and a pass to bring my car in the corvette corral. My wife enjoyed herself as much as I did. We will ne going back for more races in the future.

I love this track, lots of room to roam, plenty of grassy noles sit on a blanket and enjoy. I stopped on my way back from a Minimeet in the NE and driving the parkway down through the Mountains. I met a guy and we split the cost of going on the public laps, 10 supposedly but I am sure it was more. Took turns driving my John Cooper Sport Pak Mini around, they kept telling me to go faster, hit 100 on the straight, hung on the bumper of a few American V8's through the turns, as they pulled away on the straights, just like the Cooper S did at Mid Ohio in the 60's with the Vetts and Cobras. I live in NC now so it is close now.

The track location has beautiful scenery - grassy rolling hills and lots of trees. There is also a light smell of onion due to the plentiful wild green onion growing. Bathroom/shower facilities are typical of a racetrack. Would have rated 5 stars, but there should have been more trash cans and portable bathrooms spread out across the paddock.

Fun to watch the races. Had a good breakfast biscuit from the snack shack. Everyone seems quite friendly. There's portable sinks to wash hands outside the porta potties with soap and paper towels.

Had an absolute blast! Sitting on a sunny hill overlooking several key turns and beautiful landscape. Great getaway for the entire family. Super casual environment for relaxing camping experience... Only negative... they can use a small convenience store for the little extras you might have forgotten or run out of... If they already have one, we couldn't locate it!

Virginia international raceway is so beautiful. It has so many things to offer. Very well kept. Always fun to go watch different events. Also it is a lot of fun to go ride the go karts. Patrick runs the kart track and he is always very helpful and great to deal with. VIR is a place everyone should go check out.

Drove here from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for the hyperfest event. Multiple days of car enthusiasts fun from rally rides to track racing to go karts. Live music in the evenings and throughout the day. Camping overnight is strongly recommended.

This is just one of the best racing (and driving) circuits in the eastern united states. Elevation changes, lots of turns, long straights, just fantastic. The "climbing esses" would be the best part of this course with "south bend" separating the men from the boys.
Newly paved and widened, thr best just got better.
Onsite lodging is decent, karting, pool, restaurant and bar provide just about everything you need.

An amazing race track! I have been here many times for high performance driving schools and racing events. The staff have always been helpful and the corner workers are the best. Food at the concession stand is reasonably priced (not cheap but not a rip off). The fuel at the onsite pumps is a little over priced but convenient. The Lodge is really nice and very reasonably priced. The Villas are a great spot to stay but are on the expensive end. One improvement would be to create a little more runoff room on the inside of the exit to Turn 10. Our team wrecked a ChumpCar into the tire wall there. A little more runoff might have prevented the damage.

I love this place! South Course on a motorcycle is out of this world. I only wish there were many more dates available for it. Seems like the North course is much more prevalent, but the front "straight" bothers me. Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to do the Grand course and Full course. Speaking of which why MotoGP, World Superbike, come here and run one of the two bigger courses baffles me, this place is immaculately kept. On the same point, MotoAmerica should run one of the larger courses too, instead of North. C'mon Wayne Rainey and Krave group, don't let that track in Wisconsin be the only long circuit the competitors ride.
