Always been a fan of motorsport. My father and I came here for the IMSA race last month and had such a great time that we decided to come back for the classic races this month. You can walk into the paddocks and look at all the cars. It's fantastic!

VIR is an incredible facility and provides opportunities for track days and spectator events almost 9+ months of the year. The options are amazing for motorcycles, race cars, camping, lodging, shooting range, go cart track, North course, South course, Patriot course, Full course, and Grand course. I have watched many races and even driven around the track for motorcycle track days. Local and accessible to most of Virginia and North Carolina residents. They have electrical power, camper hook ups and shower facilities in the paddock areas. I will attend and participate in many events throughout 2020.

LOVE this track! Everyine whi works there is cool, well laid out facilities (unlike NJMP where you have to go several miles to the ONLY place to eat,) good food. I have run my car there before it was reopened to the public in 1997. (Virginia Tech Formula SAE car BTW, when I was still a key cog in the team.) $27M in 1996 dollars to do so.

Watched and wrenched at THE first race sincet h e early 70s, a SCCA affair. Also watched many an AMA race there, several SCCA races while tuning my friend/VTFSAE teammate Vic's Formula Continental and Formula Mazda and later during the NASA finale, with his Factory 5.0 Cobra. I even tracked my 1992 Toyota extra cab V6 4WD on the back half when a race was run on the whole track during lunch break. TOOOO fun to back it into hog pen coming down the hill then counter steer and unwind towards the main straightaway till I had to hit pit in, then recirculate to pit out just past Oak Tree.

In summary, not one bad thing to say about VIR, and at only 2.5 hrs fr VT, a wicked fun ride on my '88 Honda Hawk NT650 streat legal racebike. (Bubble wrap inside a VT bookstore bag duct taped to my 3/8" thick HRC seat pad was a savior though my bum was still a bit sore.when I got out of the saddle.)

OMG!! The experience at Virginia International Raceway was awesome. The concessions we're pricey, but the food carts we're resonable in price. We attended the 3 day race event and we go every year. Will definitely be there again next year. I tell everyone it is a must see event for car enthusiasm and great family fun. Go karting, spa, food, races, up close and personal with the drivers and the cars.

VIR was the first road course I have visited and I had an increabile time. You can park basically anywhere once you get in and they have plenty of spots to view the corners. The pit area was great to walk through and the food decent enough. If you get a chance also check out the karting track; it was some of the most fun I've ever had. I'm definitely visiting again!

This is a great destination to visit. The camping is very good with a number of different areas available. The views from most of the turns are really good. Even when there's no race event going on there are quite a few things to do. Everyone was super friendly that I ran into. The bathroom's were great and the showers were nice with hot and cold water. Really a surprising place for its location.

Everything you could need is here! What absolutely beautiful grounds!! The Racetrack is set upon the most beautiful backdrop. There is a barn that is gorgeous for weddings, etc. There is/are a restaurant or two, camping, off-road among many other activities. Go just to be in such a beautiful compound.

A true country club for track lovers. I attend many events there with the Chin Motorsports HPDE group. A great lap with many different types of turns that sets the standard for a natural terrain road course. The facilities are top notch and the on site accommodations are the best in the area.

Attended VIR for HyperFest. VIR is a fantastic facility but the event itself seemed poorly managed. Most employees couldn't answer simple questions related to the event which resulted in a lot of wasted time trying to find answers.

Harvey,

Harvey,

VIR has changed and grown from the first days of looking at the old Foot Farm , when we didn't even know the old plantation was lost among the overgrown grounds. She has come a long way and I am very happy to see that she is doing so well. You have a lot to be proud of and I wish to extend my gratitude for being able to play a small part in helping you to achieve your dream. I will always remember my time spent there with fond memories, For those that have not taken the time to visit VIR I suggest that you find the time, she is a fine example of a dream come true and a race track that you will never forget once you have had the pleasure of racing on just watch out for oak tree turn she will catch you flat if your not prepared.

I have been going to VIR for over 10 years now, and I wish someone had told me about this place sooner. I find any excuse I can to go watch a race here, even if it's a series that I don't keep up with. VIR is literally my favorite road course to spectate or drive, the range of turns and elevations make for a great experience. Take a set of fold up chairs and you can sit literally any where you want to watch the action!

We visited VIR for the first time during the Pirelli World Challenge. I've been to a lot of tracks for a lot of different types of racing over the years and VIR was the best track experience by far thus far. Staff was very friendly and organized. They were also very informative when I explained that we were new to the venue. The grounds were impeccably kept and very well laid out. It was an excellent experience all the way around. We will definitely be back.

How can anyone give VIR less than 5 stars? It is the best race track in the country, hands down! This is LITERALLY Car and Driver's favorite track (read lighting lap 1-12). The setting is peaceful, beautiful and serine. The staff and people are all country club nice. The track in all its configurations is epic and the tarmac is always prime. They have it all!
Seriously...what is there not to like?

This is a fantastic facility. I was working for a certain OEM at the time, and made use of the large garages and ample truck parking. The track itself worked out great. We were able to get beautiful photography and also telemetry from our cars. These folks are a class act all round!

Stayed with some buddies for the weekend to take in the races. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and you couldn't beat the view of the race track from our villa. Everything was very well kept, and the villa was well appointed. Highly recommend!

I ve run this track several times and on 4 configurations. The staff are friendly and understanding and work to ensure a fun event. Its built to be a country road in seclusion. Its a technical and challenging track to master and get those last tenths or seconds out of you and your car
