Vip Hotels Review

Very poor facilities for a 5 star hotel. Small room, furniture in need of refurbishment. The bed was comfortable but for 5 star the room leaves a lot to be desired.

Ideal when you do not want to pay too much for a 4 star hotel!

Collaborators very available and pleasant. Cozy little room, minimal amenities, no soundproofing, I heard the noises from other rooms, door to my room crashed whenever someone else opened another door. Would not consider a 5 star hotel. Hotel for groups.

The hotel is nice, but I wouldn't rate it as 5 stars. The rooms are worn to bits, but it compensates with great staff.

I loved this hotel. Simply loved it. It's in a nice neighborhood, and it's got all comforts expected of modern luxury. The rooms are more Spartan, but you won't be disappointed by the furnishings. The walls are well insulated so you maintain your privacy and quiet relaxation time. Do be aware that the design is dark, black stone with gold accents, and the halls, particularly the downstairs bathrooms may appear dim and intimidating.

Nice place in the middle of the city. Clean and comfortable, unfortunately some aircraft noise.

As soon as you walk in the hotel staff welcomes you and quickly gets you checked in. The room is very nice and clean and they provide you with things you might have forgotten at home like (2) tooth brushes, disposable razor, shower caps and the normal shampoos and body wash. In the closet you will find a shoe sponge and sewing kit.
The hotel is beautiful throughout and the restaurant is like fine dining. Swimming pool was clean and enough loungers for everyone. The hotel is in walking distance of everything you need, restaurants, pharmacy, theatre and shopping.
Centro or city center is 2.5 miles away and you can be there in 10 minutes or less unless you walk it.

Very clean hotel, good breakfast buffet and very nice. We stayed from Wednesday to Friday and one of the two elevators does not work, with the consequent discomfort in a building of at least 11 floors. Another guest explained that it was not working since last Friday ...

Very nice and nice hetel, besides being warm and comfortable, it has daily room service and a very beautiful decoration, with a wonderful pool to enjoy the summer and a spa to relax.

The hotel is fine for three or four stars but not five, in the room, old furniture with scratches of years and with some broken drawer, it would be fine if it were newer or restored, the service and cleaning everything well, if you break down a tap, they fix it right away and the cleanliness of the rooms is very good, the common areas are also quite good.

I can not speak of the rooms because I was just a conference, but the staff is very friendly, very clean, well decorated but at the same time without being too lush.

Hotel far from the center but close to the metro station. Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom with all the comforts (only element from hotel 5 *). Breakfast in the standard, to signal the goodness of sweets. The reception staff is not adequate and is rather unfriendly

Very clean hotel, great restaurant, would definitely stay again. It was close to the metro station and easy to get most places.

Beautiful hotel, very modern, well located, outside the buzz of tourism, excellent service and friendliness of the staff. It has an unheated pool, which for the Portuguese cold is serious fault. Lack more care and options to be a 5 star, but you can get there,

5 stars my boot. Service is abysmal and everything costs money up front. I have never experienced anything like this before. They treat everyone as if the are going to rob the hotel of precious towels and parking.

Most facilities are currently broken down too. If you crave a sauna or steam room don t bother showing up. Only one elevator works so it takes minutes for it to show up.

They advertise smoke free facility but that is inaccurate. They have a smoke box in the bar area and the entire ground floor smells like smoke. In addition the staff smokes by the garage so that also smells like death.

Definitely not recommended.

The room was small but comfortable and clean. Location was good, just a short walk to the Metro. The staff however, were never friendly and both at check-in and check-out we were made feel uneasy as the personnel on the front desk sorted out internal errors. This hotel would never get a 5 star ranking in Dublin!

The room had a bad odor. There was terrible communication. We spoke Portuguese. Hidden costs.

5 star hotel very very very uncomfortable! The bedroom door was quite hard to open, if there is an emergency it is dangerous! Mine was a suite but instead of unpacking the sofa bed that was there they put a cot in the entrance. There were no tables next to the beds to put on the glasses, I used the armchair! The bathroom door was very hard to open! They left us a bar of soap for only 3 people!

From the itinerary made, 8 hotels in Portugal, this was the best in all respects !!

To be a 5 star hotel, very abandoned. There was no faucet on the bidet, the TV could not be seen, they told us they would give us 2 bottles of water a day and they did not comply. Room fine, but all dark decor. Nearby there is a metro station.

Lisbon Hotel, Free WiFi is not good, the hotel looks beautiful

It is not very central, but it has a means of transport nearby. It is large and the breakfast room huge. It has a pool and spa although we do not use them. The airport must be close because planes constantly pass by. The very spacious room. Overall very good hotel. The only thing I did not like was the low light in the hallways and the carpet but I guess they have it on so as not to disturb the customers with the noise of the suitcases

Impeccable cleanliness. Reception staff unfriendly (the greeting did not exist) and not very helpful in giving you information, they also did not understand Italian and spoke English at school.

Breakfast and reception service good, friendly and attentive staff. Mediocre room, no minibar, modest gym and limited hours, very slow elevators.

Do not speak French. Tiny room and downgrade to our request. Soundproofing and equipment to review. Home cold. Looks more like a French 2 stars on the decline! Aside from the lobby and some paid infrastructure.

Excellent hotel, prime location. Modern and stylish. Congratulations, I will return.

We stayed for 4 nights and we loved every minute. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless every day after the cleaners attended to it and I had the best massage ever at the Spa by Mathalda. I have stayed in several 5 star hotels around the world including The Marriott in Dublin and The Bauer in St Marks Square, Venice so I know what I am talking about.
A BIG thank you to everyone at VIP Lisboa for a great stay.

The location was good and the price wasn't too bad, however this place is certainly not a five star hotel. The service on the staffs part was slow, and not the most friendly. The rooms are dated, and there were cobwebs in the cabinets. If you would like an actual five star the sheraton lisboa is your best bet.

Very modern. Wc very high and uncomfortable, badly organized over breakfast, chaos.

My stay for 4 days has been unpleasant, on my arrival at the chek in, before being able to see the room I was asked to pay for the 4 days despite having a Visa guarantee. The cleanliness in the room is very poor and the carpeting very stained. The pool very small and amazed. The hotel could go through 3 ***, never for 5 except for its price. I do not advise it.

Good hotel, close to the center of Lisbon, perfect in the last stay.

2 lifts overloaded at meal times and departure to provide 10 minutes to get off the buffet breakfast with 1 tea coffee machine ... for 200 people ??? And the staff overwhelmed to provide cup plate ... does not deserve the 5 stars displayed on the facade

Good service, good food, tourist information, they ask for a taxi. Some room details look a little old, but it is what you would expect from a hotel in the center of the city.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed in an executive room with a television, a mini fridge controlled stores with switches, various lighting sources including under the bed. The bathroom was very spacious, had a washbasin, a bath with two showers: a hose and a fixed large shower on the ceiling, a toilet, a bidet, and the bathroom overlooked the optional room. the only problem is that we did not have a kettle available to prepare the baby's potato.

The location is a bit far away from the city centre, but facilities are amazing and staff members are professional. However, breakfast is not included, takes about 30 mins to the city centre, and the cleaning ladies were quite rude to us and the couple staying next door which we had no clue why.
