I was here for 5 months, it is a great apartment with a quiet neighborhood. The pool, hot tub and gym are nice and clean. I can not say much about the $$ part as it is corporate housing for me however I can say my water heater went out and they fixed it quickly without any issues. The office staff is friendly and they have community events. I have enjoyed my time here.
Sarah brown the manager has made the community so much better since she arrived. Her and the staff are very kind and get on the ball right away with any concerns or frustrations you may have. She has definitely helped me and my family tremendously and sometimes it s hard to find managers like that nowadays that can make your living arrangements easy.
First impression of these apartments...."Beautiful and Clean"! The staff were on cue with every step of the way on getting me into my apartment and are very kind and helpful. A BIG YES in my book on living here.
IMCOMPETENT.
I was approved for a townhome expecting a child. Two days later we couldn t complete esign lease because they messed up our SSN and used someone else s so we should end up homeless, my refund will take 21 days and they told me this without having an address to send me refund.
These guys are the worst slum lords ever. While living there 4-5 years ago, my closet had a major mold issue effectively destroying several of my clothing items (even the health department stated their were moisture problems in the apartment after evaluating.) When asking to be reimbursed for damages, they sent me directly to their lawyer who claimed "I didn't properly ventilate my closet." Honestly, who airs out their closet. Eventually, I threw in the towel and let it go. I'm not one to fuss over the small stuff. Now AFTER 4-5 YEARS LATER, I received a collection notice from them stating I owe them for an amount in excess of the deposit. First if I ever did owe them I would have paid but now they are coming after interest charges plus some amount that I supposedly owe them all these years later. Second, this is past the statute of limitations on debt collection practices. Finally, they sent me straight to collections without a proper/formal warning or process. UNBELIEVABLE!!! This place is the monkey on my back. Don't live here. You'll never get them out of your life.
My Son lives here and my past tennant just moved here feel sorry for them, the rent is outrageous for such a small space, my son found another place to move to. Where in the hell do they think they can rob people for$ 1,900. month, for such crappy living quarters...
I absolutely love this place. It is, by far, the cleanest, most welcoming and well kept apartment community I ve ever rented in. For the price, I couldn t imagine a better deal in Sonoma County. The property and surroundings are lush and inviting, the staff and management are constantly hard at work to improve our quality of life, and everybody I ve run into here has been cool; the community feels like a community. The location is perfect; Vineyard Gardens is set in an upscale suburban neighborhood, across the street from a gorgeous park, but still just a minute s drive from Santa Rosa Avenue, where you can still find the hustle and bustle of the city. Extremely clean and elegant, my apartment is fly. It boasts new everything. From the paint, to the counter tops and appliances. My first thought when I toured the place was, this place is too nice for me, but having lived here for some time, I can say that
Vineyard Gardens has elevated my standard of living and I m not going back. I see myself living here for a long time.
My grandparents live here, not me, but it's very nice looking. It was rather quiet and the park across the street is very nice. I would live there.
Worst rental experience!!!!!! My personal property was cleared out and THROWN OUT form the apartment ! I called for a week straight to speak to management had no response. I have followed up with numerous emails and calls and have had no response. Once i called from different number answered immediately, i was told that my possessions where disposed of when it was important documents and personal information. The state of California gives tenants 15 days after move out date for client personal belongings to be stored didn't receive any type of notice or email of any sort since that time. I was only told by MANAGER CLARA they disposed of personal belongings didn't state where or when. My rights have been clearly violated and have been nothing a nuisance working with her. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE read all the horrible reviews before considering !!!!!!
Very nice staff. The facilities are kept up well. Previous owners did poor job from what I understand. This may be the reason for the previous low marks.
The pool is disgusting they dont keep clean GROSS THE HOT TUB SMELLED LIKE PEE
I moved here in May of this year and we just resigned our lease for another 10 months. It s been great living here. All the staff is incredibly kind and great to talk to when needed. Especially during these times they are taking COVID very seriously, masks, social distancing, etc. it s been a great experience over all here so far.
I gotta be real, my boo has high standards. The female is what you would call high maintenance. This woman, wants Louie V this and Louboutin that. I can barely keep up. But she s my queen and I do anything to make her happy, even uproot our family and move to wine country from the east bay. We looked and looked and looked at places, maybe 5 weekends back and forth. We finally picked this spot because it s a clean, central location. The staff treated us, and still do, like we are Harry and Megan. It s a nice set up. Hella cool neighbors, very community vibe.
The property, itself, is absolutely fantastic... I just wish the new management did better by their tenants. I'm disappointed at their lack of understanding, motivation, and resolve to take care of the premises or help any of the people who live within the community.

The new maintenance crew is on point. Everyone is very polite and professional. They take their job seriously and respond to your issues quickly. Sooo much better then the other crew that use to work here
They don t let you sleep. From 8am they are doing gardening jobs with big noises, and if you complain don t do it anything. I think 8am are not the hour to do this type of jobs, a part of that the maintenance support is horrible I was almost two weeks with out ac and every day I was at the office to be fixed. Thanks I will leave in may.
I definitely not recommended to rent an apartment here. Is to expensive for the service they give, bad painted bad service big noice on the mornings etc etc
We moved into Vineyard Gardens end of December, our apartment was clean and ready for us to make it a home. I don't think I've ever moved into such a spotless place.
The area is great- almost anything you need is super convenient.
What stands out most about Vineyard Gardens is how good Sarah is at managing this property, even though she is new to the community as well. Her attention to detail and super friendly disposition make this community so inviting. Also, the maintenance team, are great and super friendly!

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies! I had such a bad experience in my 1 year of renting my 1 bedroom apartment here at ghetto gardens. First and foremost, management is inconsistent and high turnover rate in employees. I lived there for only a year and there were 3 new managers as well as many new front desk people. I personally had an issue with neighbors banging on my walls, throwing food over my fence, yelling at random hours of the night and management did little to nothing to help resolve the issue. And the worst thing of all is I did not receive my deposit back until I had delivered court papers to the management companies. Ghetto gardens is a joke of an apartment complex and there management team sucks!
This place the absolute worst! After two years they forgot to renew our contract ( they stated that as long as we signed the contract by the the time our rent was up we would not have any problems; we still had 6 days until the 1st) so we go in the office to pay our rent a bit early still to make sure we can signt that dam contract when thier new manager declines to give us a contract for no reason n telling us we had 6 days to move. later to find out they had already leased the apartment n we had to move out in 6 days to renew our contract. So we decide to move try to just let things go; we later recived a bill for collection for a shower resurfacing and carpet cleaning total over 1600 plus our deposit we will admit we left a few stains by the door enterance, but that shower had paint had peelings since the day we moved in, it was even in out check off list. Worst scum bags ever!
