Magnificent. It is worth a special trip. Guided tour is recommended. The French guide is prepared, capable and nice.
The conservation of the site obviously does not have the means. Sin.
They let you walk on mosaics from 130 AD.
The toilet is neglected.

If you think that with only eight euros you can see buildings built by the ancient Romans still in good condition, this should already be enough. Really large and very well kept park. I recommend visiting the season with milder weather than the height of summer. For those who love photography, the sunset is spectacular. Absolutely to visit.

One of the best Roman archaeological sites in Italy. The villa is located a few minutes from Tivoli, just after the motorway exit. From the comfortable and large car park you can access the park, from which you continue along a large path to the higher site. The majestic remains of the small and large spas, of the villa and of the theater are just some of the points of the site to be admired. Of rare beauty is the Canopus, a large swimming pool decorated with a colonnade with marble statues. Real open-air story.

Suggestive place for the grandeur of the ruins and the beauty of the same. A greater care in the tourist management of places: recommended route, small brochure to be delivered with the admission ticket etc. They would be welcome.

Villa Adriana was built by Adriano between 118 and 138 D.C. This beautiful residence is surrounded by greenery and with an important historical heritage, to become a UNESCO heritage site in 1999, it is located in Tivoli (about thirty kilometers from Rome). In the villa we can find residential buildings, the baths (Big and Small), nymphaeums, pavilions, libraries and gardens, a Greek theater, etc ... It is really worth getting lost in this beautiful journey in which to see wonderful historical finds. I recommend the longest route (about 3h) in which you will be able to see all the artistic beauties (except of course those subject to restoration, for the moment the small baths can not be visited). The full ticket costs 10 , I would have liked a map but must be purchased separately as the audio guide. Site descriptions are allocated to the site on panels, and some arrows will show you directions.

Really huge and fascinating to imagine what it was like.
A must for those who go to Rome.
Too bad that there are no dedicated shuttle services and that despite the improvements cries the heart to still see a certain degree of neglect and failure to restore.

Unmissable! Above all expectations. Spend at least half a day, if not the whole day. Pleasant open-air living museum suitable for all ages. To be combined with the reading of Marguerite Yourcenar.

Beautiful villa Adriana, shame about the very tall grass that reigned everywhere and the dirt scattered on the ground .... an ugly Italian business card for all the foreigners present .. really a pity

Worth a visit if you are in the area but not outstanding as lots of old ruins and not much in the way of mosaics or artifacts. Impressive large area but quite run down and not much restoration.

The whole of the ruins and the park are incredibly suggestive, the path due to the restrictions for the covid has cut some parts, but it does not prevent you from admiring the grandeur of these imperial works. The maritime theater is charming and the canopus is romantic. The park is well maintained and the park is littered with fountains. A must see.

Unique experience. Although I lived a few kilometers away, I had never dedicated myself to visiting the beauties outside the capital, but the day dedicated to Villa Adriana is really well spent. To enjoy all the greatness of the place there is a real need to go from the opening time, but it is something that must be done, especially if you have the possibility to go there not being too far away. Excavations, spas, theaters and academy. A single day might not be enough to postpone contemplating at least some of the structures of which it was composed. WONDERFUL

Unfortunately, I have collected many complaints from those who have visited the post Covid site, of being left abandoned to themselves, without audio guide, totems or legible signs. Visitors stay
left abandoned and orphaned by history. Given the global importance of the site, I believe that what has been found is really a serious lack.

An all-Italian heritage of humanity, an imperial villa in Tivoli, a marvelous place from which one can grasp the artistic and engineering greatness achieved at the time of Emperor Hadrian.
To visit with eyes wide open.

Tivoli is a charming mountain town appreciated for its beauty since antiquity, and Villa Adriana with an area of 120 hectares, inaugurated in 121 AD by Emperor Adrian is presented as a travel diary of the Roman Empire reproducing the most beautiful conquered places.

Beautiful site, well run considering the size! The story surrounded by greenery allows you to spend a quiet day! Bookshop well stocked, just wish along with the ticket does not alleghino a map! Despite this, the signage inside works great, there are health services and water fountains everywhere

Beautiful place, I recommend you go there even if there are no places to eat and drink apart from a hut after the ticket office with drink machines.
There are no guides because of the covid and there are not many explanations ...
But it's a beautiful place nonetheless.
