Viejas Casino and Turf Club Review

I LOVE VIEJAS!!!!!! You can have a whole day here with the kids, your significant other or just alone. They have everything, gambling,eating, drinks, bowling, skating and shopping..... for the kids arcades and so much more you have to come see for yourself

The new hotel they built recently at viejas casino is absolutely amazing. I just stayed there for 3 nights this past week, I was in the cheapest room available(it was a comp and if I would have upgraded it wouldn't of been free hehe(;) and although it was not the extravagant suite with the in-room jacuzzi, it was still just as amazing. Great service, excellent accommodations. Will definitely be coming back when my next comp is available!

I love Viejas. They check temperature when you come in and verify you are wearing a mask. However, a saw a large amount of people with their masks around their neck. Machines aren't wiped down after use except atms/ticket redeemers. Not saying this is their fault either but that everyone in my party of 6 lost money. 6ft social distancing? Mmm definitely not. First and only 1 hour experience at this casino. It went from excitement to anger quickly. We went to casino and signed up for casino card with Jennifer who told us if we played $10 in slots, we'll get $10 in free play. I prefer to play the tables but thought I'd take advantage of this offer. I was heaving trouble with the machines reading my pin#. I go back to Jennifer. I finally went back to the machine, put in my card and played $11 only to be told by Jennifer that the card didn't recorded my play. She instructs me to go back to machine and press service button. Sal comes just to tell me the same - the machine didn't record my play. I ask him to call his manager. "Manager"- Wassim reiterated what Jennifer, Sal, and I already knew and had no other solution for me. By this time, 30 minutes have gone by. I go back to Jennifer to put in a complaint and Wassim comes down. I asked him to check the cameras but since we weren't talking about a big amount, he refused. We went back and forth. If he was too lazy to check the cameras, he should have honored the measly $10 free play. It turned to a point where it was t about the $10. It was the horrible experience and customer service we received. We then gave Jennifer the card back and asked her to remove my information from their computer. She called her supervisor who said it's not possible, but that's not true. They again offered no solution. We had to tell them to remove me from any communication lists. We waited there until she supposedly did it. I hope I never hear from them.

Nice casino, lots of games on the floor and newly remodeled.

The shell gas card is a bad promotion , line was
extremely long and slow. Spent over $400 for a 15 dollar card. Gave up trying to get the card.

Outlet, dining, hotel and alcohol not Vegas but its good for me plus its not too far

Had a Good Time Playing there. The Crew on the Craps Table make you Feel Welcome. Their Buffet can do better, the Lobster is rubbery. The crabs either too salty or very Bland. The Chef's should Taste their Cooking.

First off, I enjoyed the gaming selection here. It wasn't too crowded, but they kept open just enough tables for someone to find a good game. They also serve alcohol here, unlike some of the other casinos that prohibit it to keep the gaming age 18+ (instead of 21+ like it is here.) Serving Starbucks is a nice touch as well and the prices are competitive. The areas I would improve would be to improve the service in The Cafe (it can be plodding), change the single deck Blackjack to pay 3:2 (I think they chase away business with it being a 6:5 game), and to cool it with asking me if I want a player's card every three seconds - I don't want to be comped and don't want any communications from a casino, thank you. Other than that, I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it, overall.

The new rooms called Willows are all suites. They have 2 rooms, a living room and a bedroom. The bathrooms are huge with giant showers.

Viejas is fun but it rarely pays off so go for fun, only take what you can afford to lose and when you are ahead and winning then cash out and put a smaller bill like a five back in.

It was fun. I love the outlets. However the machines were tight. I didn't win nothing. The buffet is also delicious but very expensive. It should be more affordable

Always been one of my favorite casinos. I like the staff. Very helpful and have great service

Went there tonight to receive a free gift for being a frequent player. We didn't plan to stay long or spend too much money. The gifts they had planned to offer had run out, so we had to choose some lesser wanted items. I chose a small Bebe pink velveteen clutch purse. Then I used my food comp points to get chili cheese Nachos to share with my bf. We met a nice couple from Riverside who come down often to play table games and Bingo. They get free room offers to make their trip enjoyable.
Then it was time to play. My bf likes Keno, and I prefer slots. We split $75. I took $45, which I managed to double on a Wicked Winnings machine. Checked on my bf who was putting his last $20 into a Game King Keno. As I walked away to play a little at one of the Chinese themed slots, he won over $275 at Caveman Keno! We expected to donate, but left after several hours with an extra $500. The service was friendly and fast when ordering food or drinks. The atmosphere was festive , clean, and fun. They even now have self serve drink stations to help yourself. We had a great time. Just a good tip is to try to stick to whatever budget you have in mind because it's still gambling and never a sure thing. My favorite people there are Josephine, a Slot Cashier, Gail, a Slot Supervisor, and Lupita, a Housekeeper. They are super at their positions, and always make you feel welcome.

Went to the casino a few times since we were staying at the rv park down the road. It's a beautiful casino with a bunch of parking. We almost always walked away with more money than we came in with. Go on a weekday if you like the slots. Their restaurant was very good.

The buffet is a wonderful experience! Come hungry and maybe skip lunch:)

I called room service to clean our hotel room at 272 last Tuesday 12/27/16 since we left at around 3:30 PM even put $10 tip in the envelope. But when we returned at 1:30 AM the room wasn't clean. Did not contact the management because we have to checked out on Wednesday 12/28 to get back to Phoenix, AZ. This is the second time we use the hotel. The first time is better than this experience. Been playing there since 1999. Rooms are very nice. Just bad room service this time.

Very clean and appealing. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at the hotel. It was beautiful, clean, and impressive. I went for my wedding anniversary and we both enjoyed our time here. Would consider another stay-cation.

I loved this place went three times in July with my special needs kid. Just got kicked out today cause he cant wear a mask, never coming back . After the door guy let us in.

They don't really pay at the slots here. The buffet is ok. They finally fixed the place up though.

The area and the casino are very nice. The only problem that I have with the place is that there is a very noticeable smell of cigarettes from all the smoking.

You're not winning because they're building a hotel

Their buffet has unlimited alcohol drinks one at a time. Food is delicious w/ lots of choices, just kinda hard to go to the restroom there's only 1 unisex inside the buffet & it's always occupied everytime we go there.

We ate at the lunch buffet during this trip. Honestly the best buffet that we've eaten at in a long time. We will definitely return.

Had dinner at the buffet there in the casino, the food was cold, and some of it was not very good,very disappointed with the food and the cost Iwill not recommend it to anyone.

I had fun the Employees are awesome my boyfriend took the day off we went about 8:30 in the morning my boyfriend and l won some money which was wonderful the only thing l didn't like was that their was no one bringing us something to drink while we were playing

I came here for the buffet. Takes ~2hrs to wait in premium line. The lobster was ok: the meat wasn't easy to extract from the shell. Most of the desserts were a tad too sweet for my taste, but they had 5$ all u can drink, which is pretty value so I cant complain too much. Overall it was good if u have someone waiting in line for u.

The people collecting money from the machines were rude and seemed to hate their job.

Love it I go there alotband the 23rd of June was my bfs bday so we went dancing there ,had a blast .

They pay ok just know when to stop,or they will take it all back.

Out of all the casino's in San Diego county, viejas has a better history for payouts than the others.

Well today I did not earn money but I had a lot of fun, so machines we'll see each other until next time.

The wait for the buffet was 1.5 hours no problem then we wait an additional hour to be seated ok we're fine then we have options of cold food at 9 pm not worth the wait at all not waiting for that ever again. Dont try it, if its later in the day and your wait time is that long chances are your food will not be hot or good
